Beware of the prices you pay! I thought once I paid 650.00 in dues, everything would be fine. But nope!! They also will add in another 300.00 for KEY services, and if you're lucky enough- they wont even give you a heads up about it. So in total it was almost a thousand dollars. (1000.00) to join MetroTex. Arlington Board of Realtors, is way better, cheaper, and has more professional office staff!!!

Poor customer service. They are unorganized and are terrible at returning calls. They are not clear with you as to the process of setting MLS, therefore , you waste time calling and emailing.

I love Metrotex! I take most of my education to renew my license there. All of the computer classes are FREE with my membership. I shop at the Realtor store, buy my lock boxes and access membership for help on different issues and I love their customer service. I will say the you better be on time for classes that are mandatory by TREC because TREC doesn t allow to miss time in the classes. I once came 5 minutes late and they wouldn t let me in the class! Lesson learned!

I've paid all my dues, ON-TIME, for over 3 years; now that I have some questions, all MetroTex does is push me off to someone else. For 3 days not, MetroTex and Ntreis have been playing some kind of game where no one is willing to provide any level of support. It's very frustrating....what's the point of these boards if they aren't going to do anything to support agents?! It's really just a shame how unwilling anyone is to help!

About MetroTex Association of REALTORS®

MetroTex Association of REALTORS®: Empowering Real Estate Professionals in North Texas

MetroTex Association of REALTORS® is the largest REALTOR association in North Texas and the sixth largest real estate association in the United States. With over 25,000 members involved in all aspects of real estate, MetroTex provides lockbox, keycard, education and professional development to empower its members through professional development, advocacy and market intelligence leading to prosperity.

Founded in 1917 as the Dallas Real Estate Board, MetroTex has grown into a dynamic organization that serves as a resource for real estate professionals throughout North Texas. The association's mission is to provide its members with the tools they need to succeed in today's competitive marketplace.

One of MetroTex's primary services is providing lockbox and keycard access for its members. This allows agents to securely store keys on properties they are selling or leasing so that other agents can easily show those properties without having to coordinate with the listing agent each time. This service saves time and increases efficiency for all parties involved.

In addition to lockbox services, MetroTex offers a wide range of educational opportunities for its members. From continuing education courses required by the state licensing board to specialized training on topics such as marketing strategies or negotiation techniques, MetroTex provides resources that help agents stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Professional development is another area where MetroTex excels. The association offers mentorship programs that pair experienced agents with newer ones who are looking for guidance on how to build their businesses. Additionally, there are networking events where members can connect with one another and share ideas about how they can grow their businesses together.

Advocacy is also an important part of what MetroTex does. The association works closely with local government officials and policymakers at both the state and national levels to ensure that laws related to real estate are fair and equitable for all parties involved. By advocating on behalf of its members' interests, MetroTex helps create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Finally, market intelligence is another area where MetroTex shines. The association provides data analysis tools that help agents understand local market conditions so they can make informed decisions about pricing strategies or which neighborhoods might be ripe for investment opportunities.

In conclusion, if you're a real estate professional operating in North Texas then joining MetroTex Association of REALTORS® should be at top priority because it will provide you access not only lockboxes but also education & professional development programs along with advocacy & market intelligence services which will ultimately lead you towards prosperity!
