Beautiful just beautiful ,friendly room service from all staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel is a lovely quiet location with super-friendly and efficient staff. We have no gripes about the rooms (room service was excellent) but the rooms could do with an update.

Hotel needs updating. Bathroom is old and mouldy. Pool isn't cleaned nor heated. Location isn't central. Not enough restaurants/cafe in the hotel.
However staff is friendly and housekeeping is great.

I surprised my husband with a night away for our 11th wedding anniversary. We arrived late and ordered room service. The food was amazing the room was immaculate. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again soon.

Room ok, shower was great. Restaurant meals were very good. But whole place was kind of dirty and dated.

Friendliest staff ever!! Felt like i was in Fiji! Big smiles and friendly faces had a lil mix up with the room and the pool needed a clean

Friendly staff, very helpful and competent. Room service was amazing!! Order the burger so yummy! Breakfast was average. The rooms are not very sound proof, I stayed across from the pool and it was so noisy. Even hearing people walk past - bring your earphones. Peaceful soroundings being on a golf course.

Good clean rooms, a bit dated but quiet and away from the main hustle of the Gold Coast.

We stayed during the National Judo Championships. From the rooms, dining room, gym, sauna, and bar, to reception and the parking area, we were satisfied with all the services provided.

Lovely hotel and great pool with nice loungers & friendly staff throughout.
Would definitely return.

Only cons would be :

kids hurt their fingers on the sandstone pavers around the pool.

the pillows in our bedroom were old and therefore not comfy

and

quite expensive food wise for the portion size ie $16 for a kid's pizza meal even with a drink and the tiniest brownie.

Food was quite good and the atmosphere very quiet at 12:00 pm on a weekday. Service was reasonable with waitresses checking our satisfaction regularly. However, timing is everything as they'd had 320 guests for breakfast so pick your time carefully. The meals are quite expensive so Groupons are best.

We stayed for one night at Mercure Gold Coast. It was such a nice experience and the rooms were spacious. The staff at the check in were very friendly and also we had to check out early the second day and the team member was very friendly .

What an awesome place. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Super friendly accommodating staff. We will definitely be coming back

Okay no lifts. For us elderly people. Otherwise great place to stay

The check in was very friendly,helpful and fast ,room was very nice (superior king) .Lunch when we got settled in was excellent as was the dinner the next night. The friendly ladies of Accor shouted us a couple of drinks the first night as a promotion for Accor, they were great. No trouble for the front desk getting us a taxi to go to Dracula's show that night, or anything else we wanted. We will have no worries going back next time we are in the gold Coast.

Except for the freezer section of the small refrigerator not being cold enough, everything in the room worked perfectly. Facilities including the breakfast hall, tennis courts and swimming pools were great. The only issue we had was not being able to get drinks from the bar past 2am, but that wouldn't be an issue for most people.

5 star services. Very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended

Our room was immaculate and kept that way for the duration of our stay.
Location was perfect for our needs, both for business and leisure:
- free parking at the railway station and an express train service into the centre of Brisbane
- a short drive to Pacific Fair with 5 hours free parking to shop and dine one of the best Malls in the world.
- a short drive to Broadbeach and access to the iconic Gold Coast beaches.
Underground parking at the hotel kept the car cool and accessible.
Hotel staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgable and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Altogether a memorable stay.

The resort was lovely with great views. The staff were amazing. The buffet spread was good and comparable to other four stars we have stayed at. Pool and spa were great The only thing that would have made it even better would be elevators to the first floor. With a little toddler it's a bit of a hassle.

Wow, this resort made me have faith again in Accor. All these years I thought I had wasted money in these Accor properties until I came here. The service was amazing, the room...well what can I say....when I came back home, I ordered new mattresses, pillows, sheets, etc. I had the best sleep in years in the hotel beds. When I stripped them down after our stay, the mattresses were clean and the pillows were clean. I have never been to a hotel that has a comfy sofa bed. I hate soft beds but that sofa bed was really comfy. The space in the rooms and bathrooms were great. Our whole family enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely be coming back. We had some pizza and chips by the pool and they were definitely worth the price. My friend said it was the best chips she's had and she's had alot of different fries haha. The kids loved the big pool and I loved the fact that my 5yo could roam around most of that pool without an adult helping him all the time (because of the depth). I can't rave enough about this resort. Maybe I shouldn't otherwise we might not get accommodation easy. Well done to this resort, I think you are by far the best resort in Accor.

Great for families, a bit isolated from shops & food as on-site food is only average. Rooms are comfortable, staff are very friendly, a picturesque golfside location.

Very disappointed with the service. As part of our dinner one of the desserts did not arrive. By the time we were able to let absent wait staff know, we were ready to go. Since it was on our bill we asked if we could take it with us to which we were told that it was against health and safety ( I mean seriously you're a 4 Star resort, I can get a bag of food through a drive-thru window without Health and safety issues) . We then asked the wait staff to just to put it on a plate in front of us at the table, no bells and whistles. As I'm familiar with health and safety legislation and codes I knew that we could package it up and take it with us, thinking it would make a good midnight snack in the hotel room. The waiter went away talk to his superior and returned only to blatantly lie and say that the food had been packed away and that we were unable to have dessert ( if it had been packed away then this is what we would have been told the first time we enquired). I think I was more disappointed in his terrible lie than not getting dessert. Regardless we won't be back in a hurry.

We found it quite difficult to manage the stairs to the third floor with our toddler and all our belongings, after a long walk from the car park. We cut our trip short because so many mosquitos were making their way into the room day and night. A business centre would have been nice for my conference calling.

Nice grounds. Room was a bit dated and had shower over bath :( . Food was the highlight and service was great!

Lovey resort. Facilities are beautiful. Staff are top notch.

I had a beautiful night at the Mecure! The room was clean and comfortable - the bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave it! The breakfast and 11am check out topped of a relaxing mid-week escape.

Clean rooms and amenities, had LIVE music by pool which was great. Very friendly staff and the buffet breakfast was great.

Great room. Great service. Resteraunt has small meals and is a little pricey but really delicious food. Beautiful grounds and facilities.

Hubby and I just spent a week here. We travel alot for work. This place left nothing needed. The grounds, food, drinks and staff were amazing. Carly in the dining area is a credit to Mecure. The room cleaning staff were fabulous, especially Janelle amd Norma. Ladies, its the little things and we loved our little morning notes.
And the gym was well stocked and roomy.
Thanks to everyone.

Staff attentive, rooms clean, hot water plentiful, food of a very high standard, impressive wine list.

Location is a bit secluded, away from the main strip of hotels. Staff are very nice and the room was satisfactory. Great pool on the premises

It was pretty and spacious, but difficult to navigate

No elevators to upstairs rooms? Stairs only to many public toilets. Are you serious?

Friend had gastro and they accommodated to her very well. Ok location, abit out of town so hire a car unless your happy to pay for a taxi for about $22 into Broadbeach. Food was good, buffet breakfast was fresh. The children's menu by far is the best value. If your not a big eater order from kids menu, the steak is Devine.

Great service, nicely appointed rooms. Nice pool, but unheated at the time of my stay.

We where so impressed with this hotel. From check in to out we loved it. Every staff member was so polite and courteous. Food was so good. Our room was lovely. And the bed, oh my, we loved it. So comfortable. Very quiet and serene. Felt like on a tropical island not in the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast. Thank you

Beds were comfy, bathroom is outdated and lots of ants in the bathroom. But overall a comfy room

This place was very nice. I love the view and the breakfasts in the morning was very yummy. The swimming pool do have a deep end so be careful if you have young children.

Staff were friendly but resort is in desperate need of renovation. Rooms are well sized but very dated, and some inclusions were partially not working. One toilet button didn't work, the iron sprayed water over what you were trying to iron, the shower head was cracked and shot a jet of water out the door when you turned it on. The car park is full of finches that cover your vehicle in poo. Would not return.

Lovely spot, great amenities and honestly the best and most courteous staff I have EVER experienced in Australia. Will stay there everytime am up on the Gold Coast.

our air con in the room did not work properly we called front desk twice 2 guys came to "fix" it but with little change so the room was hot and muggy because of the rain. also the little fridge didn't get our drink cold even after it being in their over night it was luke warm.

Adjacent to the golf course, you can enjoy the resort at a resort hotel.

Had a comfortable stay in this older but well maintained resort. Staff were friendly and amenities sufficient. The buffet breakfast is worth checking out but get in early!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and made up daily by the maids (who even put my boys' teddys' back on the bed when they made it), and the food at tge restaurant was AMAZING! The pool is heated and a variety of pool toys are available for guests to use as well. Overall my family and I had an amazing time there.

Tyler & Shandella have been awesome on the phone helping arrange group booking for our future wedding. Cant wait to stay in May.

Attended a work function here. Slightly dated appearance but friendly staff

I had very good time there. staffs are very polite, room,bath,restaurant and swimming pool are very clean.

The room was advertised as a "disabled / accessible room" but there were more than a few issues.
1. Although there are two car parks, one underground and one outdoor, neither were accessible. The underground carpark was down an EXTREMELY STEEP AND LONG RAMP! there is no lift. It was impossible to take a wheelchair up or down this ramp. The outdoor carpark was a fair distance away as well as being very hard to reach and dangerous as we had to cross a busy road, and there were large gutters preventing entry. The rooms are all separate to the main building where the reception and restaurant is, and to access it is a very steep driveway, it was not accessible if you were in a wheelchair.
2. The bathroom was ok, but the tiles were EXTREMELY slippery even when reasonably dry.
3. The handrail next to the toilet was an 45 degree angled rail unsuitable for most people (should have been a 90 degree 'L' bar hand rail.
4. The main door into the room was heavy due to a door closer wound up as tight as possible. There was no way someone in a wheelchair could open and hold the door open whilst also being able to wheel themselves inside.
5. The beds in our room were on wheels, so as we tried to transfer into bed from the wheelchairs, the bed moved away from us.

Although the room was reasonably clean to stay in, the room and layout of the resort is not suitable to any disabled person, and this room should not be listed as disabled friendly or accessible.

Great room. We stayed in the units for Accor vacation members. Restaurant was great as well.

The rooms and the facilities are well appointed. The pools where nice however not very well lit. The buffet breakfast was fantastic

This place is outdated. Roomed on third floor..... no lifts, no porter, very little instruction on where the room was located, room was 200m from the restaurant! Dinner was a disaster and understaffed, 1 hr between starter and main.
No wifi coverage in room, intermittent TELSTRA phone coverage only worked when out on the spider web infested balcony.
No compendium in the rooms outlining "resort" facilities and locations so phoned reception to enquire about getting one and they wanted to debate on why I required one!
I travel extensively on business and have stayed at many Mercure establishments but will not be back here.

Clean, tidy grounds. Nothing fancy but nice and well priced for a short stay.
