Nice hotel to spend a flash holiday with your child at jakarta.

For hotels located within Ancol tourist attractions where our main destination is, Mercure hotels are quite satisfactory both in terms of rooms, services & amenities, although rates are rather expensive compared to hotels around Ancol but we are not too far to our destination ... we are enough satisfied

The place is representative for a variety of activities.

Some time ago, I stayed a week at this hotel, very happy and very warm, the hotel was good from the room, the sea view was very beautiful.
There are many meeting rooms and the interiors are good

Located in the Ancol area, the place is comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is spacious and there is also a swimming pool for children equipped with water spray. Full breakfast menu. Friendly hotel staff.

The service is ok. It should be improved. I stayed there during holiday season and it was full booked. The breakfast time was so hectic with slow flow of foods/refill. The swimming pool slides were under construction. If it was not located inside the heart of Jakarta's famous Ancol, I would look for another place to spend time with my family.

The Krakatau ballroom is very large, suitable for events of many people

Overall hotel service was good, the food was quite nice with variety of menus to choose from. One thing that might need improving was room quality, the cleanliness is questionable.

Newly revamped room. spacious toilet.....huge bed. prompt service. friendly staffs. it was an overall a very pleasant experience. highly recommended. told them it was my hubby's birthday and mercure staffs arranged for a birthday surprise for him. it was awesome. thanks mercure

Quiet place for Jakarta, but the bedsheets and towels were a bit gray

It was one of luxurious place in 1980 era. It still shows its charm now. Good facilities but not with beach.

Booked the grand deluxe newly renovated room for 2 nights.. and extremely satisfied..
Room were spacious , good view, and the pools are great for family with little children.. we even got tasty welcome drinks at the bar.
Got great price from accor sale hotel, tough without breakfast.. but its ok since we got lots of foods n restaurant within ancol and with walking distance from hotel..
Will definitely back some other time with my family..

This hotel was named Hotel Horizon ... at the time of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Mr. Ali Sadikin during the reign of President Soeharto ... where at that time I was studying at SMA N 1 Boedi Oetomo ... Ancol Beach was identical with Hotel Horizon, Pantai Indah Ancol & Putri Duyung Cottage ... and I didn't forget the Copacabana ... Hmmm Nostalgia Jadul ... Now the hotel is far different ... even though here and there there are some relics of old hotels ... Jaya & Forward Mercure Hotel Ancol ... Your passion and preservation remain eternal ... Regards

Check in Saturday afternoon at 3, queuing and crowded like the market, it took about 30 minutes to be able to get a room key. Just a normal breakfast, to the restaurant at 8.00 am asking for mercy and hard to find a place to sit, advice from the waiters if you want morning, morning or afternoon, because if the weekend is always the hotel is full, for taste and variety of food needs to be improved due to hotel standards 4 stars still feels very ordinary. There are no towels, it's good if you come here to bring a spare towel from home, we check in at 15:30 and just get a towel at 21.00 I even have to call 4x to the new customer service delivered, the reason the hotel is doing laundry outside so at that time the towel arrived late. Overall good, will come back again sometime. thank you

Room is clean, got upgraded from deluxe to executive since we were on honeymoon. But unfortunately there was no bathub and very minimum view.
But overall the service was good and very helfull staff

This hotel has four star facilities. Nice scenery. The facilities are also okay. The rooms are also comfortable, elegant and clean. The service is also good. For those of you who are recreation at Ancol, you can stay at this hotel. For food, if you do not want to eat at the hotel, around the hotel there are also Padang or Sundanese food stalls and so on. For room service you only need to press the Zero button and here you need to deposit a minimum of IDR 500,000.

The room is great, clean and comfy. The children swimming pool a bit dirty but the kids club is awesome. The staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast is okay.

Traveling with children will be very troublesome in supervision if it is not in a connecting room but in this hotel we can up grade a larger room with enough sleep for us and children, it helps us traveling with young children even babies and toddlers ...
The facilities are quite good and comfortable, but towels and bed sheets need to be updated so that comfort is increased ...
The room also needs a bit of renovation to make it look more clean, we feel the painting of the walls and replacement of the carpet need to be done to make it more fresh and not impress the old hotel.

Strategic position in the middle of the Ancol area, easy to access rides on foot from the hotel

Nice roomy room with outstanding Wifi connection. Just one minus point: The other day we got a room with balcony because the others were fully booked; didn't realize it was a smoking area room. The smell of smoke lingered on whilst we were staying there. We had to open both front and balcony doors to let the air flow, but the smell didn't vanish completely. Would be lovely if they clean not only the room, but the air also (using air purifier, maybe?), especially for this type of room.

Staying at this Mercure Hotel is very pleasant. First check in, greeted by the friendly and smiling Mrs. Dalilah (receptionist). There is a mimo kids club, there are billiards etc. Near the hotel there is Indomaret point and resto Simpang Raya. The back door of the hotel that used to be able to break into the sand beach of children unfortunately was closed.

Bro, the atmosphere is real. But far from the city. But it doesn't work if you want to refresh.
