Mercedes Benz Long Beach is an excellent place to go to car shop, test drive, and purchase new Benz cars. They have an elegant area to watch television as you wait, and they also have free coffee and tea that you may make yourself.

Service Advisor Nicholas Ortiz made me regain my trust in MB dealerships (and makes me even want to become one since I could learn a thing or 2 from his outstanding qualities) so much credit to his genuine approach and the tech who worked on my vehicle to fix coolant leaks since I was losing faith after having had a few disappointing experiences at other service centers where my car was treated as being less important since it wasn t a big write up. I know things happen and I m not one to be uptight but Nicholas Ortiz was the exact opposite in that he had a warm welcoming persona right off the bat, seemed to genuinely care about getting a tech to determine my 2 concerns with 2 diagnostics rather than looking annoyed/or disappointed if it wasn t a major money repair and he even went out of his way to order me an Uber (since I didnt have full coverage for loaner) from Long Beach to Irvine since I had to be at work. A couple hours passed by and unlike other places, he took the initiative to call me first (rather fast) and gave me thorough details of what the tech found. Nick made his recommended suggestions with estimates to help me save money and helped me prioritize without being pushy while I weighed my options. I decided to give them the green light to do the repair and my car was ready by the time I was off work at 3 P.M. Even though I opted not to get other recommendations done, it felt nice having a professional print out of the other recommendations with the problem in detail with pricing if I decided to come back in future. His last words to me were Don t be afraid of our dealership, we re going to take care of you but I already sensed that the minute I handed over my keys, so thanks a ton Nick cause it felt like one of your boys or family was looking out for you.

I took my e class to get service at different Mercedes locations and they never actually fixed the problem. I finally went here to MBLB and Harry Reid was my service advisor. He actually went out of his way to make sure the problem was fixed. He always provided status without me even having to ask! So so grateful thank you Harry!

I took my s600 in there to get a couple minor issues taken care of. Little did I know, a nightmare situation with my warranty company would ensue. I thought I would surely lose my mind until an angel disguised as a service rep would prove to be all that was needed for everything to be ok. Rebecca Lee stood alongside me through the tumultuous process of getting the warranty company to process the claim. She was there with excellent communication in the form of both daily updates on top of the common "milestone" updates. I am convinced that her hands-on approach are the only reason why ultimately my issues were taken care of. The process ended up taking over a month, and while many service reps would have thrown in the towel at the first sight of a challenge, she accepted the situation and instead moved to solve the problems at hand, and take care of my vehicle's needs in the process. She spent countless minutes tracking down the folks at the warranty company, as well as countless minutes holding them accountable and keeping them honest. I couldn't be any more appreciative as a customer to have been taken care of by such a capable and caring person. I will definitely be going back for my service needs, and perhaps next time for my purchasing needs as well. Thank you so much Rebecca!!!!! :)

Worst experience ever, i have been leasing MB for more than 10 years and never ever had such bad experience. They gave me a faulty GLS450. i did not drive the vehicle for a month and it had several problems, service is very slow , they will keep the car for two weeks and give you a small car, they bring the car very dirty...i will never use them again ....very disappointing

Purchased a Benz for the wife today off of " Kimo " ... Awesome Sales Person! Made me feel very comfortable...shopped around all weekend from MBZ Downtown LA <--( sucked ) to Fletcher Jones and House of Imports...ultimately this gentleman, his patience and knowledge along with LB Mercedes earned our business! 2 Thumbs Up! Highly Recomended!! Will go back and purchase another one for myself in the near future.

The only issue was getting the rental car, the system was trying to charge not only me but others that were there for service. That process to resolve took over 20 minutes and probably should have been tested before the customers came in.

I lease a 2017 GLC300 SUV from this dealer since N...

I lease a 2017 GLC300 SUV from this dealer since November 15, 2016. I am a visual person. I like the look, but it's a lemon compare to what I have been driving 6 years two GS300 Lexus. GLC300 car have a lot less standard option and it cost me more to drive. I thought I try something new, but this model Mercedes is a big mistake. Gas miles is great but the stop and go comfort drive stop in the middle of the road something and will not start again. Sometime it stop and it won't go again. I thought something wrong with my car. And this car is dangerous, when the gas is low if you do not fill up right away. The car just drop dead in the middle of the road. It happen to me in local driving, because I could not find a near gas station. If this happen on the high way, I might die for abruptly stop. The little monitor on the dash board is useless. Even a Prius come with touch control. Music Bluetooth keep on dyeing and dropping, I guess it does not like my Samsung S5 phone. It does not have Bluetooth phone command, I guess my standard car does not come with this feature. I was spoil with lot of Lexus free option. One thing I hate the most, my does not have keyless go door entry. Since it rain so much 1st quarter of the year, I spend most of my time outside in the rain looking for my key. Jose the sale guy said it does not come with keyless go entry. I guess he lie, because i found out this week from my gal friend. She bought a C300 2017 Mercedes and her come STD keyless go entry. Jose told me to use the MB mbrace to open my car or lock. Again, it defeat the purpose of always looking for the damn key or my phone to open the door or lock the door. I told Jose but he said it does not come STD keyless go entry, how much does it cost for the keyless go entry????? I can not live without this feature. This is the worst car to buy or lease. After 5 months, the rubber sealer from the back trunk door coming off. Buyer beware!!!!!! Beauty is empty inside.

I had been a long time customer at this dealership...

I had been a long time customer at this dealership, but no more. Apparently there has been a shift in ownership/management and it shows. Not only did the sales person Jose fail in his attempt to provide any kind of satisfactory customer service, but Erin the finance manager did as well.

Without going into long an incredibly long tirade, I'll hit the highlights of my abysmal experience. Keep in mind I've been a loyal customer in perfect standing for over 4 years. Both Erin and Jose flat out lied to my face when questioned about the vehicle I was interested in smelling of smoke. They said "That smell is just the chemical we use to clean it." So I guess Mercedes Benz uses smoke to clean their vehicles. What a joke.

The sales person Jose couldn't even be bothered to show me quickly how some of the features on the car worked-- he had more important things to do on his phone.

When I emailed Erin to find out who Jose's boss was she wouldn't give me the name and said I should just contact Jose. WHAT?! Since when is it okay to obstruct a customer from escalating a concern. Unacceptable.

Apparently, that's the modus operandi at this dealership as I was unable to reach the GM and AGM...Both too busy hiding in their offices. Too busy to deal with the little people that pay their salary and bonuses.

NEVER AGAIN.

Do not waste your time at this dealership, they don't treat their customers well.

I bought a 2018 AMG GT from this place and I was told the car was in perfect condition as they have ran detailed check when it came in. After buying the car, my local Mercedes service provider found out it has been in a huge accidents therefore all warranties are voided.

I have contacted the dealership manager but he refuses to recognize this and repeatedly says the car is sold and is no longer the his problem.

Disappointed with Service department . Had appt today to handle replacement of recalled airbags. Advised they were out of them and would need to order airbag and reschedule appt. They could of been proactive in calling customer to advise and it could of been handled over phone.

The worst experience we've ever had at Mercedes Benz!!!

We've purchased Mercedes from Fletcher Jones and had wonderful experiences. We have also had great experiences at Mercedes of San Diego, so we had expectations of receiving similar customer service when we purchased from Long Beach. We received below par, used salesman treatment from everyone we worked with.

Nael Issa, John Doherty and April Torres were dismissive, rude and beyond difficult to communicate with. Upon purchasing our Mercedes Benz C250C we had a concern about some damage on the steering wheel. Both Nael Issa and John Doherty assured us that it would be covered under warranty. They went as far as to tell us that we could contact them if we had any problems getting the repair done under warranty. When the car was taken in for the repair we were told it was not covered under warranty and it was a $3000 repair. I tried to contact Nael, John and April many times to confirm what they told us when we purchased the car. Nael call me back 3 days later with an attitude problem and no recollection of what he told me the day of the sale. April called me back 10 days later and said she would copy me on an email to John to try to resolve the issue. I never received an email from April. I am still waiting for John to call me back 17 days later.

Don't waste your time at Long Beach Mercedes Benz!

I know one thing for sure which is whenever I take...

I know one thing for sure which is whenever I take my car to Mercedes for routine checkup or major repairs it s going to get done right the first time. Yes it s a bit more expensive but my car has always ran like new even though it s a 2006 which is pretty old. I have confidence that whenever I get in it I m going to reach my destination. It s never left me stranded and I owe that thanks to Mercedes and it s team of extraordinary professionals.

Mercedes Benz of Long Beach has earned a 5+ star rating from me and I am more than a happy customer thanks to Lee. Lee helped me from start to finish and provided me with outstanding customer service. He found the exact vehicle and packaging I was looking for, offered me a deal I couldn't refuse, even recommended hotel and lunch options because I drove over 4 hours to complete my car buying experience with him. I am very appreciative of the entire friendly staff at MB of Long Beach and it is safe to say they have earned a loyal customer for years to come. Thank you Lee!

I m extremely happy with the service that was provided by Nick Ortiz, not only did he help with fixing the issue with my seat, he was able to provide me a loaner vehicle to get around. He did all this in a timely professional manner, I did not have to wait at all. He followed up with me daily to give me up dates on my vehicle which was super helpful. Even though I live in the South Bay, I m definitely going to take a drive back to Long Beach for all my needs, thank you Nick! I highly recommend Mercedez Benz Long Beach for their Great service!

Best sales experience in my 57 years of living. I purchased a used vehicle and despite the relatively low sales price of the car, I was treated the way you would expect when buying a $250K S65 AMG by Toshi Sato, the Fleet Sales Manager. After speaking with Toshi on the phone, I had a good feeling about working with him and decided to drive up with my wife from San Diego County. We were treated like V.I.P's as soon as we walked in the door by the entire staff including David - sales manager, Kennet - service technician, Robert - service manager, Erin - finance/contracts and Toshi's charming wife Lisa who handled the paperwork. Toshi could not have been more professional, courteous, thoughtful or efficient. It was no surprise to learn afterwards that he sells more Mercedes than anyone else in the world (not a typo). We are very happy with the car we bought and grateful for the great deal Toshi and David gave us. As an engineer who does most of the service and repairs on my cars, I was very impressed with the service group and their work area. I totally understood why Toshi stated how proud he was of the entire team at Mercedes Benz of Long Beach. I don't write many reviews but mostly do so to help other consumers (mostly warning them about negative experiences) so it is with great pleasure that I highly, highly recommend contacting Toshi Sato and this dealership if you are considering a new or used vehicle.

Sales Department was incapable and sent me 50 miles to another dealership when they had the ability to activate my Me Connect. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice but the rude salesman at an adjacent desk sent me away so as not to be bothered with helping me. They told me to go back to my dealership. Bad information, bad attitude. Service Department was very friendly and accommodating.

Colby kept me informed of the progress of the maintenance. The car was finished before the approximated time. My paperwork was completed. Advised of some future maintenance. Car was washed and parked up front waiting for me. Couldn't have asked for any better service.

My representative Nick Ortiz was very attentive to what I needed and had taken extreme caution with regards to Covid-19. I felt extremely safe with the way the Dealership as well as the Service department handled all the things that can make an individual uneasy. Nick also left me with no questions to be answered and from the moment Nick introduced himself he had a pleasant demeanor and thanked me for choosing Mercedes Benz of Long Beach. Do not go to this dealer for any thing. They pass you around . The service department is outrageous, I towed my car there 2 days ago and they pass me around. service manager doesn't call you back. The person that was helping me is off for 2 days , so they are telling me she will call me back when she returns.
I have 3 Mercedes Benz and never went to a poor dealership so poor. For the people that want good service, this not the place.

They repeatedly tried to rip me off, suggesting fuel filter changes etc when my sprinter van was not due for that service. They did not know what one of my service lights meant and I had to look it up in my service manual while at the dealership and tell them what it meant. They don't return phone calls and are extremely rude. I was shocked at how horrible their customer service is, I have never encountered anything like it before. I would not only never take my van here again, I will never buy another mercedes.
