We've just sold our hourse and bought a new one with Alain Laurencelle and Pat Shebaylo of Taylor McCaffrey.
They took the time to hear what we need, they are professional and knowledgeable. Alain always make sure we understand everything and every single step.
They answered our phone calls and replied the emails right away.
They were on top of the process all the time.
I'd highly recommend them.

Extremely expensive. If you want to give away your house to them they'll gladly take it. There are much more ethical and inexpensive legal counsel you can use. The house example is the legal cost for a simple divorce.

If I could give no stars I would!! Emailed the firm and directed my legal inquiry to Norm Snyder(chair), and after 3 weeks I have yet to be acknowledged. Very unprofessional and obviously does not care how others will see this law firm. A simple email addressing my question would have sufficed as our case needed someone willing to take on the opressive MEP program and the backwards family laws in this province and obviously, no one at this firm is willing to question the denial of men's rights in this province. Don't waste your time with this firm.

The lawyer that was recommended to me didn't respond to my email or phone call. The secretary was slow to respond, I had to contact them to get the answers I needed. Would not recommend.

My 1* is reviewing kim Antonio. Totally unethical. I agree with another reviewer saying about dragging it on. Even my ex's lawyer made a comment that things were not done according to rules that they are to follow. Avoid her. Save yourself alot of money and grief. She is not looking out for you and your best interests. I Used another lawyer after and it was like night and day. So much was accomplished in 1/2 the time. I would have to give the firm a one star given this. Why? They employ her and it relects directly on their firm. To the other reviewer who used her and got nothing accomplished, report her to the law society, unethical practices, and anything done not in the best interests of the client or in a timely fashion should be reported. Update 14/10/2017, found out she is a partner on this firm, even more so to rate this firm 1 star. If there was a zero star I would.

David King was very nice to deal with. Took a while so if you're looking for quick on an estate might not be the best. Fee was outstanding based on what could have been charged though so if you're looking to spend less, Dave's your guy!

My husband & I just sold our home and was referred to Lawyer Alvin Slayer. This was our first experience with him ( and Taylor McCaffrey LLP ) and i must say it was an excellent one!... i appreciated his honesty and straight forward communication approach. Slow, won't respond, no explanations ever given. Glad I only used them for a house title transfer. Don't ask questions because you won't like there incoherent answers that don't make sense. When issues pop up they will always blame the other lawyers. No worries someone will have possession of your old house for a month or more and you still won't know what's going on.

I would recommend Taylor McCAffrey LLP. to anyone Mr Marc E. Marion is a amazing attorney and very professional Man .

My dealings with Taylor McCaffrey have been excellent. Everyone I've dealt with has been open, honest, reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. Every time I've had to pay for their services I felt the price very fair for what I receiving.

I used Taylor McCaffrey LLP for several years to maintain the business records for a Incorporated company. As law standards go these tasks are simple and mundane but they repeatedly misfiled papers and needed constant fallow ups on their work. I had finally had enough and did receive written apologies but there was zero attempt to reconcile or correct their mistakes after the fact. I've spent a lot personal time trying to do the filings myself which defeats the entire purpose of having a law firm take care of it for you. I'd recommend using someone else as I've moved on.

Went to Taylor McCaffrey with high recommendations. Unfortunately the lawyer we requested wasn't taking new clients, we were then recommend by the firm to use lawyer Kim Antonio. We read her reviews on line which were not good, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt.

We entered into this knowing it would cost us money, but expected to have a professional lawyer that would look after our best interests. This was not the case. After spending over $10,000.00 and countless months of back and forth with her, we cancelled our service with her. It wasn't until this time that we learned she wasn't communicating with the other lawyer dragging things on in the case and when I confronted her on this she stated "it's for your protection". We feel that this was done to retain more work from us.

We ended up representing ourselves and within months it was over. We had 8 months with her "on the case" with absolutely nothing accomplished.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service.

So instead of charging by the hour this fixed fee package allow the clients to make sure of several different services the firm offers including setting up the business.
