Had to take my car in twice as they had it the first day and did not carry out any works to it and didn t call me to tell me they couldn t complete the works until 4:20pm and had it since 10:00am and also did not make me aware when I called for an update midday. Also when cleaning it missed quite a few obvious places, however the service from Gareth in the service department was great.
Had an incredible experience, my car now feels like it goes very fast compared to before! Would recommend to anyone, they must have magic powers in the car garage bays and the people working there! INCREDIBLE.

Rarely these days do I find exceptional sales service, but on this occasion I found Elliott Hamilton to be the complete sales professional. Elliott managed the sales process from beginning to the end with just the right blend of personal attention and attention to detail. He was able to create a friendly, yet totally professional relationship while ensuring the various stages of the sale were presented and completed on schedule. The approved vehicle was very well presented before collection, well done Lookers Gatwick.
I booked my 15 reg C220 in for a B service at Mercedes-Benz Gatwick. The car was returned with malfunctioning sunroof. It was making terrible rattling noise and would not fully open. I had to take another day off in order to visit them again.
I was met by a technician who was obnoxious and patronising. When asked whether the sunroof has been serviced during the B service he said that MB does not service sunroofs. How strange, as the service schedule clearly states that the sunroof has to be lubricated during the B service! He also could not explain what went wrong (everything was working fine before the service).
When I picked up my car the following day, another technician could not provide any update on the issue apart from "it has been fixed". He had no details whatsoever. No one bothered to give me a call with explanation.
Also, I was really shocked to find out that car was returned dirty inside and out! Wow, is that supposed to be a premium service???
Do I have to add that the rattling issue has not been resolved? I have just returned from a trip to Europe. 3000 miles on German autobahns with constant rattle behind my ear. And we are talking about a premium car that is less than 3 years old.
This was definitely the last time I used Mercedes-Benz of Gatwick. Truly pathetic service - not recommended!
On arrival I was advised I didn t have a service plan when I have, and told that I would need to start a new one. Service adviser very dismissive and reluctantly looked into this. Could not hear technician on video, due to background noise, so still not aware of what he was saying? Vehicle interior return dirty, due to being wiped down with a dirty rag. Overall disappointed.

Spacious building with a variety of Mercedes vehicles on show. Garage available for servicing as well as part sales. Opening hours mean you can drop of your vehicle and pick it up later in the day. Service very good although overall could be better (compared to other Mercedes Benz garages where drinks are made for you instead of out of a vending machine plus service times can be slightly slower than advised). Overall a good place to visit if you know what you're after.
Excellent service from Gareth and the team at Mercedes Gatwick. Visited with a fault on my S-Class, they gave it as much time and effort as needed (quite a bit!) and resolved the issue with minimal fuss. I was kept well informed throughout and will be very happy to use Mercedes Gatwick in the future, and also recommend them to others.

A warranty fault(oil leak from the sump) was picked up on the first service and it was pointed out at that time, that parts were needed to be ordered in to do this and the vehicle was required for 2 days. Thus a convenient time was booked, when a courtesy car was available and the vehicle went in for the work to be done. On day two I was contacted, alas not to collect the vehicle having been sorted but to say that parts were needed for the work to be completed. This time the vehicle would have to come back in for 3 days(15 hours of work) to make certain everything is completed. This is now due to happen on Wednesday 9th September and therefore I will be in a better position to comment on performance after this, which I trust you understand.

Have had my car serviced at Mercedes Benz at Gatwick for many years now. Always great service. Mark was very polite and everything ready in time. Can t fault them.
I have been a client for the past four years, I can truly and honestly say that in those years the service was brilliant but every good thing must come to an end as per say, I recently booked in for a service and I can hand on heart say it turned out to be the worst experience of my motoring life, after the service I noticed that there was minor damage to my car for which I contacted Mercedes service department to ask for an explanation and resolution to what I presumed was a simple and small issue, after the phone call and the meeting with the relevant service representative I was astonished by the lack of professionalism displayed and the manner I was spoken to. I personally felt under attack, during the verbal sparring with the Mercedes representative I was lied to and treated poorly. After an hour or so of this embarrassing ordeal Mercedes finally agreed to repair my car , guess how much the part needed for the repair cost?!!!! 40 pounds yes forty English pounds its not a typo.( you reading it correct) mind you in the past I have repairs costing thousands with the same branch, therefore money was not the issue it was the principle.
Despite the ordeal I am still a massive Mercedes fan I will just be avoiding the Gatwick branch at all cost, if I have to travel to Germany to get my car serviced so be it!!! ( extreme).
When you compare the customer service level with the likes of BMW and Audi or a very reputable small local garage, Mercedes are falling behind massively.
Since the problem with the starter battery charger, my vehicle has now had its annual MOT check up which was arranged and carried out very efficiently by Mark Robinson. I was given a precise time to hand the vehicle in, Mark was ready to receive it and careful reviewed the issues that I wanted checked in addition to the regular MOT. Later I was able to collect the vehicle also at a convenient time. Thanks Mark.
Mercedes ME gave me an automatic heads up about a problem with my vehicles starter battery charger. Lookers Gatwick gave me a service appointment at the time of my choosing. I then at the last minute I had to ask for another time but that was not a problem and I was also allowed to collect my car at my convenience. Many thanks for great service.

I think you can never really judge a car dealership until there's a problem - I did have a few minor issues on my first purchase about 3 years ago but these were sorted out by the person who sold me the car (Thank you Fareed). As a result I recently bought a second car from them knowing that if there was a genuine problem with it they would fix it. What was surprising about the latest purchase was I got a pristine 3 year old SLK for less than Car Giant were selling an equivalent model! Again - thank you Fareed.

I ve just picked up my Merc c-class from Gatwick Mercedes-Benz branch, two weeks ago found out that my rear subframe got corroded and started cracking My local mechanic Raz told me not to drive my car at all. Dropped it to Gatwick branch for assessment and was told the same and that the subframe must be replaced. The next thing came as a huge surprise when they said to me that there is a chance it could be done under a warranty. I thought the car is 12 years old and the warranty would not apply. I thought I would need to spend fortune to fix it or to say good bye Later I had a phone call and it was confirmed that the replacement can be done under the warranty.
I can t express my utter joy, you guys made my made, great job and big thanks to your services department and technician s team who carried out the work well done, top customer service !

Booked an appointment. Turned up. Reception buried in bowels of showroom and not seeing it approached a young man at a desk. "Good morning," from me. "You alright?" from him. Got pointed to where reception was and introduced myself. Got tutted at as didn't know whom my appointment was with. ( Hadn't been informed.) "Someone will be with you soon." Two young men going nothing much continued to do nothing much. Asked if I could look round the cars. "Yeah." Found the car I had thought of purchasing and tried to look around it, but the car wasn't powered so nothing worked. Couldn't open powered boot, or adjust electric seat etc. Twenty minutes later of being ignored I thought that if this is the Lookers Mercedes experience, with all the guff on their website about customer service, that this product is not for me. Ten times better experience at Specsavers later in the day - pity they don't sell cars. It seems the more you pay, the more up themselves the dealerships are! Good luck!

On my way to Mercedes Caterham after trying to purchase a new Mercedes at the Gatwick dealership. My 2017 BMW 530 has finished its PCP plan and thought I would visit my local Mercedes dealer to discuss a new car purchase. However the lady on reception seemed more helpful and interested in me than the Sales team at Gatwick! If you want some peace and quiet or simply some alone time visit Mercedes Benz Gatwick you will be ignored and avoided regardless.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Fareed Osman whilst purchasing my A Class, which was delivered this afternoon. Due to a recent accident, I was unable to visit the showroom and Fareed made the whole process very easy. Fareed sent me a video of the vehicle within 45 minutes of my first enquiry, was on hand to answer any questions I had almost immediately, took care of all the paperwork promptly and made the overall experience very enjoyable. I felt valued and looked after. Fareed went above and beyond to ensure any little marks were buffed away, service was carried out, along with MOT and even a full tank of petrol upon delivery. Couldn t ask for more. Russell who delivered was brilliant. Took me through the controls, showed me where different things were located and even connected my phone to the cars Bluetooth system. Overall experience with Merecedes Benz Gatwick has been flawless.
Although they did not have the part.. Gave me the number of another branch that did..

Lookers after sales service is diabolical.
Service department is extremely bad.
Damaged car on several occasions and last visit they took the dash off now rattling but they refuse to correct as out of warranty so they are unable to claim.
I usually have the MOT on my car done at my local garage, but have had a recurrent problem that can only be fixed by a main agent. This was difficult to arrange earlier due to Covid lockdown. On receiving my test reminder I booked my C220 BlueTech in, expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised when the car sailed through - albeit with advisories and an excellent video record - but even more so when the problem was fixed free of charge. Excellent service from Service Managers Peter and Gareth. My service is due shortly and will definitely return for that.
Will at mercedes Gatwick was fantastic. From start to finish he was there whenever we had questions. Found exactly the cars we wanted and helped us through everything. Suprised it only came back with 3/4 tank of blue efficiency, normally you fill it 100% which is what I thought the plan covered but apparently you only put max 10 ltr
I bought an approved SLC during the first easing of lockdown so all the sales process was done remotely. The collection process was basically sign these documents and here are the sterilised keys. That wasn't an issue initially as we had travelled nearly 3 hours from Sheffield to collect the car as it had the spec we wanted and we just wanted to get home. The sales process was actually ok other than the rude welcome from a team member when we arrived for collection.
Assuming that (1) it was an approved MB vehicle. (2) that I had asked the sales person in writing to make sure everything was "spot on" on the vehicle and have a "critical eye", I assumed everything would indeed have been just that - IT WASN'T & STILL IS NOT due to the refusal to resolve these issues. i haven't even been asked to supply pictures - that's their arrogance. SO BELOW ARE THE PICTURES SO THAT ALL REVIEWERS CAN SEE THE ISSUES.

The first picture show the spider corrosion of this wheel and centre - They are all like it.
The second picture is another wheel picture and the corrosion.
The third picture shows the loose drivers door card.
The forth picture shows a deep scratch on the inside of the drivers side glass (its difficult to take a picture of scratches on glass!)

The loose door card will be resolved by having the glass replaced.
I've contacted MB direct and they are no better SO all work is scheduled to be undertaken next week and therefore unless I get a positive reaction from the dealer very quickly, the work will be undertaken and legal action undertaken to recover the monies.
Will let you the reader make up your mind if (a) Im being unreasonable and (b) if its worth your hassle purchasing from this dealer.
Phillip in the sales team has been brilliant. My family has been dealing with Mercedes across the UK and Ireland for over 15years and he stands out a mile for his professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness. Whilst I live in the north I will go out of my way to deal with him.
Bit of a strange set up, asked to ring a bell for parts although someone was a few feet from the parts door. Staff look depressed.
My car was picked up on time as agreed. The video of the underside check was very reassuring and the car was returned as planned. I was kept updated by phone calls on progress of the service and the final report was very comprehensive and tells me that my 12 year old C Class is definitely worth keeping a bit longer. The sales team might not be happy but I am!

Picked up car after telematics control unit was replaced and found the cabriolet roof would not function - I thought everything was supposed to be checked before giving g back to customer. Not impressed

DO NOT TRUST GATWICK MERCEDES. GO ELSEWHERE. Terrible after care, terrible management support do not trust them with your money, once they sell you a car, they have the WORST support ever to resolve issues. I was sold a brand new vehicle which ended up being faulty and required weeks of repairs. Still not fixed, they want to take it back now and offer me no compensation or refund.
Good service as usual from Mercedes, Gatwick. Pick up very prompt, Simon kept me updated with a video and finally Anika keeps me informed with a phone call to confirm all good and car would be returned soon.
Superb after sales service! I have owned 5 new mercedes in nearly as many years and have always received a throughly professional service. I am always contacted well in advance by a member of Viks team, always able book a suitable time, and have always received a 5 star quality service, carried out by a very professional team everytime. I know my cars are in safe hands with Vik and his team, and although I live in Kent, I always choose Gatwick as I know the service is second to none! Lovely dealership when selling the car... Can't fault them, it's once they have your money they then are unhelpful and rude.
Picked up my car with scratches and chips in several places but they said they would fix these. I went back another day for them to fix the paintwork... The job was shocking that I had to take it to another dealership for the paintwork to be fixed, the job they did was so bad that two panels on the car had to be completely resprayed.
That's was only the first of several problems.
After having the car for several weeks I noticed that the car was drifting to the left, I took it to a different dealership as the gatwick one are shoddy and was notified that my b200 sport which was sold with FOUR run flat tyres only had two run flats and two normal tyres.
They refused to accept responsibility and I had to escalate my complaint further, this was late last year and I am still waiting for those tyres to be replaced several months later.
I have also recently found out after having my car since November 2014 and only driven 5k miles that THREE of the alloys are buckled on the cars first service last month.
The dealership are crooks!
Avoid at all costs for all cars especially second hand cars as you don't know the condition of the cars until it's too late.
I've always bought my company vehicle's from Mercedes Benz and they dealt with me like a professional.This time around I'm not happy at all the vehicles that was sold to me it didn't meet what they said and I found out the vehicle had been in a previous accident in the past so I've had to take the vehicle back and ask for an exchange or money back.This has inconvenience my company CHAUFFEURS R US LTD a great deal.I I'm now awaiting another vehicle before my company can get up and running again.Thank for nothing.

Sadly my experience of buying a used Mercedes was overshadowed by the fact that the pre vehicle check isn't worth the paper it's written on. After 10 days a low brake pad light meant the car was back in for work they avoided doing prior to the sale. It was back again after 6 weeks when I found they hadn't even topped off the fluids and the as blue tank was only half full. A really cheap item for them. Shameful service from a main dealer.

car being 8 months old and had problems with the centre console screen for two months and couldnt work out why it was blank to be advised that it need to be replaced and due to unavailability of a loan car will be another month to fit and hopefully will resolve the issue but no guarantee's. Not what I expect with a new GLC especially from Mercedes. Sorry but not exactly impressed....No connectivity or ability to use any features controlled or hook up my phone etc or sat nav.
