Had an issue with a recall on my smart car, my car...

Had an issue with a recall on my smart car, my car was in good driving condition, when it checked in for the recall, but it mysteriously died at their shop. As a result I ended up in small claims court , which eventually was settled, but i was scammed withvan agreement that Mercedes Benz has failed to fulfilled and I am ready to go back to court.

Very nice place! The dealership is amazing, there are a lot of AMGModels and the atmosphere and decoration of this dealership is top notch! The customer service there is just as good as everything else! I had a problem with my car wash, not really a problem, but it took longer than expected and the manager came and offered me free wash anytime and apologized for the waiting time! This place really takes care of their customers! 5stars anyday!

[Warning] Do not bring your car here for body work! I had a missing Crome piece for the door handle missing from the door they replace & I had somebody break the lock of my glove compartment that was close just to get in to see what I had & probably steal...Unbelievable how would this happen at a Mercedes-Benz dealership!!!..Then the dealership says there not held responsible for the missing part.

Worst customer service ever. I bought a car from them and they messed up the info on the registration and I can t get a hold of my salesman or the managers. The only time you get customer service is when you actually show interest of buying a car. After you buy the car there s literally no one to talk to. Very disappointed.

Called ahead for 1st time service...explained that...

Called ahead for 1st time service...explained that we bought the car and not leased it...we made sure that we will have nothing to pay since it was for a single service check up and have 3 years warranty...it was confirmed by the agent...drove from UES to Mercedes which took us about 45mins and of course first thing they mentioned is that we will have to pay $270 to change the oil...this is ridiculous and not to mentioned unprofessional to have us wasting 1,5hr back and forth to hear that...not even tried to worked out something there, they removed number plot from the car and walked away like no one was there..."NY style"...I'm still wonder how some people still have a job in this city! I will go to my neighbor garage who I'm sure will do a much better job for just $50...will not go to this dealer ever again and will check out of state for my new car.

Worst service department ever! Our car goes in rep...

Worst service department ever! Our car goes in repeatedly for the same complaints. It takes at least 3 tries before they get it right. They don t care at all. We used to take our cars to Mercedes in Southampton & they fixed every issue 1st time & we never worried about having to go back. I believe because this dealership is owned directly by the factory in Germany they just don t care. They also try to sell you things you don t need.

So this is their reply to a problem 6/17/19:

Good afternoon we have diagnosed the cause of the check engine light is the secondary air injection pump/switchover valve $1159.00. Please contact me with any questions. If we go ahead with it today should be ready for tomorrow. Thank you.

I was received by the service specialist in Mercedes Benz. Mr Marco Correa was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and comforting. I was very upset that my car was not functioning well but he assured me that my car will be taken good care of. Throughout the service process, he kept me updated as to what was happening with the car and what repairs were needed. He was patient and took the time to explain the nature of the repairs that had to be done. My car was delivered to me in a quick fashion, and I was provided a contactless link to pay. The car was sanitized before they gave it to me. Marco saw me in the lobby and immediately recognized me and he was by my side until the car was delivered to ensure everything went smooth. I am grateful to MB Manhattan for smoking such great cast of employees. Marco exceeded my expectations and made the process so painless. Thank you!

If I could give service a 6 star rating I would. Ken Smith is my service advisor and he was excellent from the start. He got me right in, when I got there check in went smooth and efficiently. He kept me informed on what was going on with the car throughout the process. I feel I got a great value for the work they did, and they cleaned my car beautifully to top of the great service. Fraud proficiency at Mercedes Benz of Manhattan.
I really did not expect the deal will be like that.
Last week I agreed to buy a used GL350 from MB of Manhattan, that worth around $ 45K. The car was shown at the showroom. I signed the contract with the saleswoman and agreed to pick up the car following day, because I promised my wife to get her a car in our anniversary.
I send them all information required early morning to receive the car in the evening, to fulfill my promise to my wife. I tried to call the sales manager and saleswoman; but no one answered me. Around noon, I received a call from the sales manager telling me that the car was sold for another customer who signed the purchase order before my arrival and somehow, it was not removed from the system. He told me that he has good news that he found a better car with a higher value and will give it to me at the same price. The only thing is it needs two days to be ready.
I trusted him, because I have no other option, and I expected to receive the car in two days, but unfortunately it took 6 days to be ready. I went to on Tuesday to receive the car but waited around 30 min for someone to help me.
I asked to see the car before signing the paperwork, they told me to sign the paper work because the car need time to be ready. I insist to see the car (I told them that it looks like I am buying a fish in the sea). I waited for around 1 hour till they told me that it is ready to see it.
Actually, I did not feel comfortable when I saw it. I do not know why !!
I went back to the business manager to continue the paperwork, and he got angry because he waited for me till I saw the car. He started his duty and asked me to sign the paper where he added a mark, I tried to read them but, he was trying to prevent me to do that. The only thing he made me to read the warranty which was very expensive and also the wheels coverage, when I started to negotiate with him the price, he got angry and he made me to declare all warranty.
I got the car, but I was really very upset. And when I bulldo it, it felt that I had been deceived. The following day my wife called me telling me that she got an error message when she started the car. I texted the saleswoman, but she told me that the car in under warranty and they are responsible.
Also, I noticed a paper I signed that states that I can return the car within two weeks with full refund, but the business manager made me to declare it without know its content.
I feel that I had been Deceived and they wanted to sell me this car because it has factory problems and they were very professional in deceiving the customers.
Everyone should be careful when they deal with Mercedes Benz of Manhattan.

If you are looking for a great long-term relationship with a dealership this is the place. Mercedes Benz Manhattan has great customer service representatives who build long lasting relationships with their customers and do their best to keep you happy. I'm on my 3rd lease with them and all of my deals concluded on a happy note.
My sales representative, Lou Shapiro is the best I've ever worked with at Mercedes, very personable and a wonderful personality. I look forward to working with him for years to come.

I am very disappointed with ths dealership to say the least
Mercedez Benz prides itself on being the best and this dealership' Customer Service skills is non existent
I live in MASS and bought an s600 several years ago and the agent was great and stayed in touch with me via phone or email because of the distance
I just purchased an s550 CPO and struggled to put the deal together and deal with all of the details out of state.
I drove from Boston to pick up the car and the agent left me alone quite a bit so he can conclude other deals. I sat in a waiting room while he was making deals with other clients. Not very warm and fuzzy since I dorve 4 hrs to purchase this car.
I have emailed The Sales Manager, Patrick Hunter and Thomas Shanley 8 times hoping to escalate my deal and they never emailed me back or gave me call.
I picked up the car and did not receive my registration until 9 days after the purchase which state law requires it to be done within 7 days.
I am thrilled with the car but am happy to use my dealership for svc in Mass
This dealership is concerned with volume sales and don't care about the Customer experience.

By far one of the worst customer service experiences I ve encountered. Their sales staffs were extremely condescending, spoke with degrading attitudes and dismissive. My husband and i Wanted to withdraw an agreement because we wanted to explore other vehicles. Their demeanor immediately changed once we request a refund. Not only rudeness was prevalent, lies were fed on top of lies to power sell. If you are considering purchasing a Mercedes I highly recommend the dealership at Long Island city instead they gave me a really good deal instead.

Worst place ever don't buy here they sell u cars that are going to need work in 3 months I bought a car cash 30,000 I asked the salesperson if the brakes were changed because it was a certified used car it had only thirteen thousand miles She said everything was good three months down the road my brakes are warped and they can't do anything for me basically I'm s*** Outta luck and now I have to pay $955 and I only put 5000 miles on the car nobody should have to replace brakes after 5000 miles not even just pads rotors as well next time I'll buy from a better dealer who actually cares about their customer service the sad part about it is this is the only corporate store in the United States go figure

I had a very smooth, easy and pleasant transaction with a Sales Rep Elaine Velez (She was also recommended to me by a friend of mine who leased his car from her past few times). She was courteous, professional and easy going. She knew in/out of the car I was interested in and she did not struggle to let me know of the new changes, features and technology. Communication happened via emails, and phone calls. Email response was within 2 hours and if she wasn't available via phone call, she returned to me within 2 hours. I've dealt with different MB's in other locations but Manhattan MB is far the best, most professional dealership. Scott (Sales Manager)was also helpful, courteous and professional. Looking forward to do more business with you guys in the future. Thanks.

It wasn t about the beautiful car and the respect that Mercedes Benz has earned over the years, it was about both Scott Malise and Lou Shapiro With their in-depth knowledge of the product and creating a package that was perfect for me. I asked to be connected with the sprinter service tech, so I could talk through some parts orders. She wouldn t provide me a number for the service department, but would happily provide the number for sales. What a great experience my wife and I had at Mercedes of Manhattan! We absolutely love our C300, we received a great deal on it, fantastic lease special! The car is amazing, it is easy to park, so we can street park so we can save some money by not parking in a garage! It also looks good with a bumper bully. I highly recommend this dealership! Especially if you make a lot of money and don't want to spend it on overpriced cars such as Lamborghini's and Ferrari's.

My sales advisor is never available to assist or answer important questions. The family atmosphere is not there when it comes to needing help with your car.

I have always showed much pride in owning a Mercedes fleet and my personal cars, but this dealership is the worst. Their Service Dept. simply view you as a dollar sign and not a person. Everything is geared towards sales and they love to push products down your throat. Its the MB service station, I want to feel great service for a great car, not sales. I will look to find another dealership going forward.

Needed a part for my car. Called them to make sure they had it in the color I needed. They told me they had two in stock. Drove an hour all the way from NJ to pick it up, and they told me they don't have it in the color I need, when I specifically asked them on the phone to make sure it was the same color. Avoid this dealership.

One thing I can proudly say, friendly, polite, all the characteristics of a phenomenal Mercedes Rep, Patrick Pires took excellent care of my 2018 E43 AMG. It s not the fastest but Patrick made sure I was comfortable and confident when I got it back from the dealer it was driving perfectly and smooth. I would always recommend my family and friends with Mercedes to specifically see Patrick Pires for anything they need done to their car.
