I am extremely disappointed in this location of the melting pot. My girlfriend and I have ate dinner at this location 3 times in 2020, once before the outbreak and twice after it s re opening including last night.

The first time we had a very like able server that moved the meal a long at a brisk yet acceptable pace. However the last two times our servers have been outright disappointing.

Two weeks ago we had a 5pm reservation, our first round of drinks and cheese came out in almost record fashion, but the meal quickly went down hill from there. Our cheese pot sat empty for almost 10 minutes before our salads were brought out, and my girlfriends second drink took over 35 minutes before we finally said that we didn t want it anymore. After it was all said and done we left the restaurant at almost 830pm. As a former server at multiple melting pot locations this would be a completely unacceptable turn time for a 2 person table.

Last night our server took almost 10 minutes to greet us after being sat down, she then came back to start our loaded baked potato cheese by pouring the base and potatoes into the pot before walking away for another 10 minutes. (Again at both melting pots I worked at this was a huge Nono). Then when I asked for tortilla chips that customarily come with the spinach artichoke cheese she informed me we stopped ordering those after we re opened. (Yet somehow just last week when we were there we were able to get them for our cheese). Toward the end of the cheese she attempted to take my melting pot mule mug from me, even though it was still 1/2 full.

She then proceeded to bring out a cooking pot that had dried bouillon all over it that looked like it hadn t been washed in multiple days. I gave them the benefiting the doubt because she carried the romulater with only one had (again a big Nono) so I assumed it must ve just splashed out onto the sides.

It then took her another 10/15 minutes to finally bring out our entrees.

Finally comes the chocolate. We ordered cookies and creme but with white instead of dark. The server dumped so many Oreos into the chocolate that it was pretty much Oreo with a little white chocolate.

Not even 1 minute after dropping off the chocolate she comes back with the bill saying no rush (but we felt very rushed because who brings a bill one minute after dropping off desert?).

And to top it all off she comes back less than 5 minutes later with her little POS machine and makes us pay and tip right then and there while we were in the middle of eating our chocolate and she stood over us watching as we entered the tip and signed. Yet she couldn t return to make sure to turn off the burner so that we did not burn ourselves on the scolding hot chocolate.

Perhaps my biggest dissatisfaction is that the manager never once came to check on us throughout the meal at which point we would have voiced our frustrations instead of me writing this long winded review.

The End.

Showed up with a Groupon that was advertised to get $80 of food. Going by what they say I could order with the Groupon my bill came out to $57 and then I had two upgrades. I was billed the $9.50 in upgrades. And I certainly did not get $80 of food. So they used Groupon to basically get you in there and charge close to the same amount they would normally have.

That said. The waitress was short, and kind of rude. She stirred the cheese fondue like angry and it was splashing around the table. I had to back off the table as to not to get splashed by the hot fluids.

I got the house salad with peppercorn ranch. But it was a small little salad with plain ranch, and that salad reminded me of a side salad from the dollar menu at a fast food place. The Cesar salad my guest had was good though.

Overall I was not impressed with the food or waitress. The ambiance of the place was nice though. Can't say I will go back there. High price for average food. And the Groupon scam, come on..

Had an incredible experience here with my valentine. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the waiter was very, very good! The chocolate fondue for desert was by far the best part. I'd definitely go back, especially for the chocolate fondue!

Attentive staff and a fourcourse meal for a great price. If you go Monday-Wednesday you can get a four course meal for $29. The menu is a but limited when it comes to the proteins but this is still an amazing deal.

Paige was server she was good, 4 stars on her end. Received an e gift card from a client of mine. Checked the balance before I came in so I knew it was legit. Male manager with a beard, receding hairline and a European accent came up with a piece of paper , saying that are gift card was fake in front of a group of people. Then he realized he messed up 5 minutes later and apologized. Will never come here again. Overpriced and mediocre food.

I went here for my anniversary and wow were we impressed. It was our first time going, seating is very private and cozy. Combined with a low light you feel as if you were in your own home eating a delicious meal. We did the 4 course meal and with each course the food only got better. They have a pretty nice selection of food and different options to choose from. And the desert is absolutely amazing. If you havent been ,take the time to visit, you will not be disappointed.

I came to the Melting Pot with a bunch of my friends to take advantage of the weekday deals they offer and I was very happy I did!

Our server, Fernando, was totally amazing. He made the night so fun for us! He told us a whole bunch of facts about cheese, and then at one point I told him to 'make up some facts about this cheese that aren't true'. He was funny and went right along with my jokes, providing my table with amusing cheesy anecdotes. He was awesome and professional but still had a great time with us.

My fiance and I had never been here before, so we decided to check it out. Every part of this experience was fantastic. The fondue, both cheese and chocolate, were amazing. The cook your own food style of the entree was perfect for me. I tend to like my steak very rare. This have me the opportunity to prepare it the way I liked it.

We went to the Melting Pot for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We were presented with an anniversary card from the staff and given the cutest little booth which was really a room to itself, it felt like it was just us in the restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. The teriyaki sirloin and shrimp were both great. The prices are a bit steep, but we did the "Two can dine for $49". It was a very enjoyable dining experience.

What a nice experience!

What a nice experience!
Family fun while taking our time to eat a different and delicious meal. The waiter helped tremendously because it was our first time. Every recommendation was on point to what we enjoy and we learn about the technique to cook this meal.
We will come back every time we can and recommend to anyone who wants to eat different!!!

The Mon-Wed $29 special seemed like a smaller portion, but we still left quite satisfied. They also have a happy hour on those days with $6 cheese or chocolate fondue. The "rose petals and candles" that I added onto the reservation for $10 turned out to be a tea candle and a dozen petals on the table; I thought it was an over priced extra, but the look on my wife's face was worth more than the price of a six pack.

Romantic , Quaint and Dim Atmosphere. Service was good but not great our Server was kind but dry with his conversation. Dinner was fantastic. Purchased a groupon for 48$ For 2, which was a steal. It came with Cheese fondue for 2, 2 salads and 2 entrees in which you can choose 3 different items from the 4 catergories - Seafood, Beef, Pasta or Chicken.

First comes a Cheese dip of your choice- they lay out bread, veggies and fruit for dipping. Then comes your salad, The Melting Pot Salad is a Must Try! Delicious with the Honey Mustard.

Third is your Raw entrees [meats, pasta or seafood] that you will dip into your choice of Oil. Meats include many choices from Filet Mignon, to Dry Rub Pork and Honey Orange Duck. MANY top notch choices. Seafood includes many choices from Shrimp, Lime Shrimp, and Salmon. Pastas are Raviolis, Pot Stickers and other choices. Then last but not least -desert! which is not included in Groupon, the difference was $10. But have your pick of different choices of Chocolate, from Milk, Dark, and White , that you will dip Rice Crispies, Fruit and Marshmellows into. YUM! If you buy a drink each is about $9, Lemon Drop Martini is a must Try!

Typically without a groupon you will be paying anywhere from $50 to $100 each person. So dont expect to pay anything less unless your coming to the Monday thru Wednesday Happy Hour! And do not expect to be in and out. You will typically spend about 2 hours from beginning to end. Its Well worth the "do- it -yourself fondue experience" though! And despite the Groupon or coupons you may bring- tip your server on the FULL amount!

Was ok for the price with groupon but there is no way I would pay full price. Nothing spectacular except the service which was great. To be fair, fondue is always overpriced and overrated in my book.

My wife and I were having an anniversary dinner. We could not have picked a better restaurant. 24 years ago we started our loving relationship at The Melting Pot in Maitland, FL.

For this evening we made reservations through Open Table which was easy and foolproof. The Melting Pot not only confirmed our reservation but followed up prior to our visit. So professional!

The server was cordial and a great joy. The food was fresh. Every morsel was mouth watering good. The table was set with precision and between the courses the kind server guided us through with suggestions that enhanced our experience. The staff graciously presented us with a complimentary glass of champagne and a lovely card to congratulate us on our anniversary.

This is exquisite, fun dining at its best. From the warm welcome to the humble "thank you" as we left, this was the best dining experience we have had in Metro Orlando. Five stars are not enough.

Thank you, Melting Pot

The restaurant inside is very cozy, romantic nice atmosphere but the food was not at all what I thought was going to be. Not allot of flavor. You have to cook and work your own food. The one thing we enjoyed was dessert. This would be a good place for drinks and dessert but the food is too expensive for all that you have to do.

I have been several times with a good friend and we always enjoy the experience. We were there last Saturday. It is a perfect meal for a long relaxing conversation. You have to cook your food, but the process is fun. We didn't do the 4 course meal because the price had really increased. We do the classic alpine for one and share. Then we pick 3 meats each.

As one choice I got cajun shrimp and found it salty. I mentioned this to our otherwise great server and she didn't do anything other than say it was the spices, duh. Then we get the yin/yang chocolate dessert for one and share.

I would give 5 stars if not for the cajun shrimp..... and ....there was a gentleman from the front who was checking with the patrons at the tables around us and during a several hour stay he never stopped once at our table.

I will come again but not get the cajun shrimp. And will call for the manager if there is a problem because he obviously doesn't come to the tables voluntarily .

It's worth another visit because it's a nice place, and making the choices we did provides enough food for two, with dessert and keeps the price reasonable.

We came here for magical dinning month..3 course meal.
The cheese fondue was great, the entree ( variety of meats )was really good... It doesn't look like much but it is. They give you enough. The chocolate was very satisfying too. It all takes a while but worth it.

Pretty good, not great. Not this particular location, but Melting Pot as a whole. I used to love it, but now it seems that everything feels kind of bland. The beer cheese soup was good, but not nearly as good as I remember. The deserts were very good though.
