I always enjoy going here. It's a long meal, you take your time. They have vegetarian options and good drinks. Reservations are a good idea if you're going at a peak time. The food is very yummy and I always leave full. It's fun to cook your own food with family and friends.

Haven't eaten here in just over a year and never disappointed. The manager at this location has been there for years. He does a great job with hiring staff. Lauren was great, on top of everything. They make subtle changes to their menu periodically, so if you haven't been in a while it will be different. Had a couple of new things that I highly recommend. Chocolate that was delicious, raspberry yin yang, and the brie and bacon cheese. My husband said the cheese was the best he had ever had, and we have been eating here for about 15 years.

We had an excellent time. The kids enjoy cooking their own food. The ending is always the best of course who can turn away chocolate on everything. Kyle our server was awesome. He was on point with everything. We never even had to ask for refills. Thank you to Kyle and The Meltin pot we really enjoyed our family outing.

My boyfriend and I came here for date night/to cel...

My boyfriend and I came here for date night/to celebrate our anniversary last night. Heard great things about The Melting Pot so we decided to give it a try.

When we walked in for our 9:30 reservation, there were several employees standing at the front door chatting, and the host greeted us, "two?". We told her we had a reservation, and then stood there awkwardly for what seemed like forever while she tried to figure out which of the roomful of empty booths she'd seat us at.

Our server was very nice and polite, didn't catch his name but he had dark hair and a long beard. He asked if we had been before, and I told him I had not. He explained how we choose a cheese fondue to share, choose an entree each and cooking style, etc. He also asked if we were celebrating anything special, and I said yes, our 2 year anniversary. He congratulated us and offered us more time with the menu.

I was still a little confused about the menu, but ordered something I figured I'd like: the steak lovers combo. My boyfriend ordered the steak/chicken/shrimp dinner. We had the loaded potato cheese fondue to start, which was good. Not overly exciting, but good. Next, the salads. I had the house with peppercorn ranch, his was the caesar. The peppercorn ranch was delicious! The server suggested adding the garlic seasoning blend, which was awesome as well. Then, dinner came. When my steak plate came out, I was pretty unimpressed with the tiny slices of steak, paying upwards of $40 for the plate I guess I expected a better portion. But to be honest, it didn't matter because I ate 4 pieces and was over it. I guess people come here for "the experience", but cooking tiny slivers of steak in a pot of oil and broth just isn't my thing apparently (especially if I'm paying $40 for it!). My boyfriend's plate came with 3 pieces of shrimp, a small portion of chicken/steak; again, left a lot to be desired. Out of the 6 dipping sauces, one was desirable. I guess I just felt like it was overpriced for what it was.

After dinner, our server had us order our chocolate fondue. We opted for the classic, milk chocolate with crunchy peanut butter. Tasted amazing. I guess I assumed our server would have acknowledged our special occasion in some way; I've seen friends of mine post pictures of the nice messages they write in chocolate, "happy birthday", etc. Also noticed the couple next to us even had rose petals scattered around their table (maybe they brought their own? That's not weird or anything). Anyways, I was a little disappointed about the fact that nothing was acknowledged, almost like what's the point of asking in the beginning if we're celebrating anything special?

Our check plus 30% tip was $160 (we work in service industry). I left feeling hungry and with a box of raw steak bits to cook in my cast iron skillet at home. Guess it just wasn't worth the hype and/or money.

We did not call ahead so there was a long wait for a table. So we decided to sit at the bar and have our experience there. The bartender was exceptional. Food was excellent and we operate as usually when we are here.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time, and finally did with my husband for our one year anniversary. Great experience. When the budget allows, it would definitely be a consideration for another nice occasion. Delicious, very filling food. Staff was helpful in explaining things and good timing with bringing courses of the meal out. Couldn't complain! We even mentioned it was our anniversary when we made a reservation, and staff signed a happy anniversary card that we were given. It was a nice touch and gesture!

This was only my second time here, as the cost is generally out of my budget, but I had a gift card to use, and I'd only been for dessert before. Our server was so incredibly polite and took time to talk us thorough the menu and what he recommended. My sister and I had a lovely time, and the food was incredibly delicious. It's not hard to cook your own tiny pieces of sirloin to the rarity you like it at if you're paying attention. Also, we had the Bananas Foster dessert option, and it was absolutely delectable. I'll be going back, at least if it's just for that.

I enjoyed a wedding shower for my future DIL at The Melting Pot. It was my first visit to this restaurant. It was really fun and the guests were treated like royalty! The food was delicious and top quality. I think there was 5 courses, from apps to dessert. It's a very interactive way to eat, so if you're feeling lazy, try this a different night!

I enjoyed my first time at the Myrtle Beach location, but this time we loved it! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Although the process was longer than I expected, the timing of everything was almost to the second, exactly how it should have been. I have been to many great restaurants, but very few have given me an experience where I could not imagine it any better. Way to go Melting Pot staff!!! I promise, based solely off this one experience, we will be back!

Fun place, food is good lol...Kinda cook it your self.. It is an interesting neat place it really is.. for 5 people, you are looking at around $260.00-$300.00. They have different deals and pricing at different times. Its around 45-60 per person. You will like it.

What an amazing place for family gathering, date or a special evening. I visited the Melting Pot with my son, his wife and my three granddaughters. We all have so much fun. It was such a pleasure to see the girls preparing their own food and with big eyes enjoying the desserts. Awesome place but $$$$$

If I could eat dinner here every night, I would. I love their selections. Made sure to try all their house cheeses, oils and chocolates and was happy with each one. Our waiter was attentive but never over bearing, very knowledgeable and amazing at this location. If you read any of my reviews you'll know I get a dirty vodka martini at each location (for the most part) and will say that the ones at Melting Pot were up there with the best.

Not happy with the whole experience. Portions were small, had to cook my own food. Most of all refused a gift certificate I had and told me I ordered the wrong food. Colorado Fondue is priced way better, the servings are larger and the prices are more reasonable. Don't waste your time here. McDonald's is a better value.

Very friendly staff! Nikolai our waiter and our hostess were both very friendly. The food is always good at MP (if you listen to how long they tell you to cook it and/or know how to cook), great cuts of meat, and always beautiful desserts. This is a busier location than I am used to in my home state, but food quality and service are the same.

Took way longer than it should've. :(

Server repeatedly took too long to return to the table.

By the time the charcuterie board came out, we had practically finished our cheese. It was also a very tiny serving of sliced meat for the price and the time to took them to prepare it.

We were left to ponder the tiny dessert menu for 20 minutes, after having decided in ~5, and then the dessert took quite some time to come out.

I have always loved the melting pot. My wife and I just recently went back after everything started to open back up. They have unfortunately done away with their happy hour specials, but we went during magical dining and had a great time. The food is as good as it always was, the portions are the same, and they are still willing to bring me out extra pound cake when I want to be a complete glutton and soak as much cake in white chocolate as I can. Always love this place, great for a date night, you should definitely give it a try.

I went here for my birthday dinner on a whim because it was something different to do. Our waiter was so nice and helpful; explaining everything to us because we were so lost in the menu. When we decided, the food he brought out was so delicious and it was very fun cooking it. There's a couple of different ways to experience the fondue, but my family and I did the four course, which is cheese fondue, a salad, a main meat entree cooked in the sauce of your choosing, and a chocolate dessert fondue. I would definitely recommend this place, however it is a little pricey!

So very disappointed! I made reservations about a week ago for Father s Day dinner at 7:30 AND stated we would need 2 burner table. Just get a call from restaurant stating they can t accommodate that request due to larger parties. Really?? We get bumped for people making reservations later? We visit here often for special occasions....never again. Such a disappointment during a special day for my husband.

We had a great time. Everyone must decide on cheese and dessert but main course is up to each. Cooking your own food while enjoying family is fun.
My daughter is gluten free and they offered a great selection for her. Service was good but not smothering.

This was my first time experiencing the concept of cooking your food at the table yourself. I lost count of the courses but the desert was my favorite. I think everyone should experience this at least one time. Get a reservation because it's a long dinning experience.
