Thank you that I was able to leave this hospital early, the operating doctor was great, only how to recover after surgery, if you get any help. Here are a few details: nobody but nobody asked me for pain, after a 5-hour operation no nurse entered my room. After a few hours, I dared to ring once, I could not make myself fresh or put on another garment, this was then thank God my relatives, Day 1 after the op, I felt good, but all my hoses prevented me, unfortunately still getting up, the breakfast tray was thrown on the table, with questions about drinks, you should please get from the hallway, but unfortunately I could not get up and therefore I could not drink anything. Thankfully, I recovered quickly and tried to help myself. Last but not least, I would like to tell you that there was a TV in the room, which can usually be served by a card, after several inquiries with the nursing staff why the device does not work despite the card, it turned out that the device is defective and that Staff knew but did not do anything. I have tacitly endured all this because I know that the operating doctor has done a great job, but unfortunately you could not get care or nursing care at this ward, I'm a bit sad about that. Because I was thank God only "easy" sick but what will happen to those who are seriously ill ???????????????

My son had been to inpatient treatment at the Children's Hospital. (Stations 67 and 64b). I can only say positive things, people with a heart work here! Everyone had always had an open ear. In addition, worries and fears were taken seriously.
I owe so much to the clinic. The important thing is that through the quick action of all, the life of my son was saved.

On Tuesday I had an appointment to discuss the birth planning / caesarean section. Even making an appointment was problematic because no one could be reached at the number given.

Arrived on time for the appointment, I was sent through the house for half an hour. Annoyed staff opened the delivery room door. After an hour of waiting we went to the ctg, where you tried for the first time to convince yourself of a spontaneous delivery using scary stories. My doctor's referral apparently found no interest. I also found it more than tactless, since there were currently 3 other patients in the room while I was supposed to explain why I came or my doctor referred me.

After another long wait, the doctor asked me in. During the conversation, neither my concerns were taken into account, nor was my doctor's referral slip taken. Not even when I asked if someone had taken the transfer slip. All questions and explanations on my part were simply ironed out and underlined with further disadvantages of a caesarean section. Finally, after the ultrasound, further treatment was refused. You are welcome to give birth here spontaneously. The mother and child are apparently in good condition.

While waiting in the treatment room, I was rudely quoted from the room by another doctor and taken to another room where patient sheets were lying around on a table.

In the meantime, almost 4 hours had passed. The doctor brought me a midwife with whom I could discuss a spontaneous delivery or just look for a different clinic. When I refused, I was said goodbye with: ok, then you will find the exit here on the left.

All in all, I would not even spontaneously give birth there after such an empathetic and unfriendly approach.

MHH never again.

I have been there several times with and without my children. I'm very happy with the children's ward and the children's intensive care unit. Except for a lady who forbade me to stroke my son's head, everyone was very nice there. Supposedly I would "shove his head" sore, if I always caress in the same place. But with all the hoses that were on him, that was the only place I could reach reasonably enough to show him I was there, and I really do not have such rough hands. With a baby one is accordingly careful.
There are these "black sheep" everywhere, I understand that. But many doctors have become so hardened that they simply lack understanding and compassion. After my traumatic birth experience at the next birth I got panic and got stupid reproaches, because I wanted a caesarean section. Just the one who would have saved my first son from the cerebral hemorrhage. I felt like a hypochondetic failure. But I want to see them sitting by their baby's bed day after day, full of fear that they will never jump around like other kids.
Honest people. It may be that sometimes we patients are stupid and exhausting. But you have chosen the job yourself and it is your duty not to "bully" us because we are too stupid for you. For that we come to you! Because we need your help! We are doing a (soul) strip in front of you and you are behaving like that. It just does not belong

Allgemein waren alle ganz nett. Aber als ich den OP Termin hatte musste ich 4 Stunden warten. Schlimmer fand ich jedoch, das die Dame die mit mir warten musste, nach 6 Stunden warten nach Hause geschickt wurde ohne operiert zu werden... Das kann es wirklich nicht sein. Traurig eigentlich.

Very long waiting times. You can expect at least 3 hours per doctor / ward. So far, everyone at the registration receiving stations is unfriendly. You are constantly shocked from A to B, but unfortunately to the wrong places, where you have to find out everything on your own. The doctors or their auxiliary staff is very nice in itself. If you call here, you cannot rely 100% on these statements, since one hand does not know what the other is doing and instead of saying we forward them etc. they pull something out of their fingers and pass on false information . I am very dissatisfied. If I didn't have to go here I would never come here.

After the caesarean section, you are systematically pressured to leave as soon as possible. You probably wouldn't have enough beds. Despite very severe persistent pain, you have to listen to derogatory comments from the sisters as to why you can't finally run.

For years I have been seriously ill and regularly undergoing treatment at the MHH. I can not complain. On the contrary! I'm glad that there is the MHH. Elsewhere, things are much worse. One should be satisfied that there is such a health system in Germany!

I am a doctor myself and studied at the MHH years ago. Sisters were waiting for hours, although the ambulance was not full. Such a treatment should be turned off by the hospital management, especially as complaining patients constantly, who do not come from boredom to the hospital. From a medical point of view, one could have gotten the shoes off the colleague's shoes, and that at lunchtime and not at night. Sorry MHH, really bad.

I was in the ENT ward in June and had surgery there. Doctors and ward staff were very nice and knowledgeable. ENT Polyclinic and the OP were very pleasant for me and result very positive for me thank you all

This was also the case recently, when I came to the emergency room with very persistent sinusitis, because I was really at the end of my game (the sinusitis had been around for 10 days at this point and my internist didn't know what to do). The staff were all very nice, helped me and everything went very, very quickly. I'm used to spending around 4 or 5 hours in an emergency room now. I was all the more surprised that day when everything happened so quickly. Within half an hour I was already sitting in the examination room of a very nice ENT doctor. The doctor took a lot of time and was very thorough with his examinations. He explained everything to me calmly and understandably and in the end he told me I had been treated wrong. He immediately prescribed new medication for me and told me how to proceed. Then I could go. I'm really pleased. In this hospital you feel that you are in good hands and, above all, that you are taken seriously, which I cannot say about every hospital I have been to so far. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The ENT department and cardiology are very good there :).

We had our appointment at 11 o'clock finished we were 17 o'clock 6 hours wait, for what ?? For nothing just nothing, when we then 6 hours off to talk to the doctor, who had not even time to explain in detail what is now, instead, he wanted to understand that we just ask and no questions, and the reception? ? So the women working there are definitely out of place, did they force you to work there ?? At least that's what it looked like, damn rude, not even a good day she got out of her mouth. Such people definitely do not belong in such a profession, so all in one it was a disaster.

Naughty, rude, unprofessional. You didn't know where to register because almost all of the registration areas were closed. The assistants shouted at us because we wanted to register. After we finally signed up we had to wait a whopping 6 HOURS with very bad pain in the ear until we were taken in for only 10 MINUTES OF TREATMENT !!! Never again!!!

We were taken to the emergency room in a separate room to wait (as my 1 year old son may have an infectious disease). This was however a small office without heating. Without possibility to get warm water. After about 4 hours in this cold room with my son of nearly 40 fever I am now thinking about leaving this kh ... never again voluntarily

I have always been there with my relatives. There were a few good doctors there. But what was noticed negatively.
My grandfather (self-payer) was only treated after he had paid 7,000 in advance. Was hospitalized for a boil for 2 months because the diagnosis was said to be uncertain. My father was unable to speak after a stroke and could only move to a limited extent. He was joined by tablets from the neighbor at the dining table. He was not turned, he was not helped to eat or put in the chair. On the grounds that now comes: he said nothing. Doctors who have just finished their studies think they are gods and behave stubbornly and, despite being discharged with a seriously ill patient in a wheelchair, can keep you waiting for the doctor's letter for 1/2 day in the hallway. No, they weren't in an emergency. You heard the whole time laughing in the doctor's room and getting coffee every 30 minutes.

We have been coming here regularly for checks since March 2017. Longer stays are also behind us. All around you are very well looked after here. Nice staff, top doctors and you can even enjoy the cafeteria.

Best doctors, the staff is kind and caring.
Although this is a mega-hospital, I felt well taken care of there as a patient!

worst hospital. My grandma was 55 years old. They did not do a lung transplant for her because she had no knowledge of German. Give her medication until she couldn't make it anymore. Now I would like to write my experience with the MHH in here. I would advise against anyone who has nothing unbelievably life threatening to go there. I had an operation on my tonsils at the Nordstadt Hospital. Unfortunately, I had secondary bleeding at home after a week and then came to the MHH. I was scared and didn't know exactly what would happen next. The nurses just wanted to inject something for me in the room. You don't do that, you talk to the patient about what happens next. After learning the antibiotic is and I refused that because there is no inflammation, just bleeding, I would be treated super badly. The patient still has something to say when it comes to his own body. The nurse stood in the back corner of the room and told me that my mouth would stink unbearably. Are you crazy???? I also have a wound in my mouth. That was the icing on the cake. But then I was scared even more than was calmed down. I was told that I could die and and and. After I was released and was still really weak and was not allowed to lift heavily or bend down much because of the blood circulation in the wound, I was supposed to get my heavy bag from the top cupboard on my own and received no help. When I asked if you could please remove the access from my hand, since nothing is happening at the moment, it was answered in the negative, because if something happens it would go faster. Like my grandma used to say, the word nurse doesn't just contain the word "sister". But that's how a nurse has to behave! It should calm you down and be your best friend at a difficult time. So to the ear, nose and throat department at the MHH take it to heart and if not, look for another job, because it is your job to be nice and friendly to patients !!!!!!!! I also come from a family of doctors. An access is made super quickly, if the patient is already hurting and the access is not needed, it can be removed. Otherwise there is also a risk of inflammation.
Stop treating people as if they were just test objects. Unfortunately, that's not the only bad experience. My mother, my grandpa, my grandma and my uncle have already had the same experiences on different wards. Unfortunately, this hospital is the last muck from the human point of view!

I feel in good hands here. Staff and doctors competent and friendly. sometimes overwhelmed due to lack of staff .. am always on station 17 or 27 doctors and nurses super .. especially Prof Gaulke I trust very much come here if it is necessary

Then everyday life looks different.

The nurses voluntarily look at the patients once per shift.

Inquiries are forgotten several times "I'll look after you right away" and then nothing happens.

You have to be constantly behind.

The ward doctor also promises to come back for an examination after breastfeeding - of course, he no longer came the day.

But they all have time for coffee and cake.

The promised loving care does not exist here.

In 4 days the bed was not even freshly made. You were in your own blood ... only on request was there a new cover for the ceiling.

There can be no shortage of staff if you have the time to watch YouTube videos and take selfies.

The only reason to use the MHH is that you have everything under one roof in an emergency.

Oh yes, the free family room is just a standard room in which your own partner can sleep instead of a second woman. Free is a bit of an exaggeration. 89 per night.

Totally unfriendly and incompetent staff! Since I was the first time at the MHH, I did not know right away where to park and where to go. When I asked the information where to go about my illness. Did the gentleman say: "I do not know where to go, I have never heard of your illness in my life!" Ok, great! Then I ask myself what has this person lost there? Furthermore, I have been trying to reach the plastic surgery by phone for days. But in vain, what an UNDING is! The answering machine says that you can reach the ladies from 08: 00-13: 00, but the phone is usually busy (blocked) until 11:00 or 12:00 and when a free sign is heard, the handset is not picked up ! Now I just tried my luck and called exactly 12:58 and let it ring for a few minutes, but without success! Right after I called again and see there, went to the AB ran! An impudence!!!

There was no psychologist on my ward, my diagnoses were taped on the door without talking to me about them or pointing them out to me.
Two nurses tried to reassure one of my fellow patients from another room with threats because she was screaming in fear. One of the nurses was so loud at these threats that I felt it was screaming too.

The food was great, the Ergo therapists were very friendly.

Nevertheless, I believe that threats are excessive and should not be made against the patient.

Very good for complex and rare diseases. It is just a medical university rather than a hospital in the classic sense; apart from the ambulances. Bringing time is a good idea, but it is usually rewarded. For simple illnesses, I prefer my family doctor and / or specialist.
