It is a disaster you have to wait 5 hours for the doctor to come, so I wonder where are we here?
It's an emergency and nobody cares, the doctor is about to come !!
After 2 hours it says there is an emergency my son is of course not an emergency he can wait 4 to 5 hours with a broken arm.
I am just saying catastrophic.

Unbelievably bad coordination, do not stick to collusion, after 100km Anfahrtsweg it says "your appointment is canceled" after asking why you did not get notice came only "I do not have to listen to me" Never again MHH!

My worst experience I've ever had with a clinic or doctor. I was recommended neurosurgery at the MHH. When I got there it was completely empty. I was called at some point and the assistant doctor who was obviously responsible for me took me with the words "How can I help you" (But this question is already unfriendly and slightly aggressive in my opinion). I told her with a bit of fun that I hope that she will answer the question. Unfortunately, the whole conversation took a violent turn! She was extremely ironic, aggressive and without a doubt I had the feeling that she enjoyed giving me complete professionalism. I asked her if she couldn't behave normally towards me and why she is so unfriendly !? She replied "Just answer my questions" I canceled the action there more or less. I can use the MHH such as "Dibber Alo", Agid Dira, Basti Meyer "unfortunately not recommend at all! I find myself in their reviews. If you have such a problem, you want to be" caught "with a little empathy and not" wiped off "and especially not being treated like the last dirt! And that's how I felt. So for me it was a very big disappointment. I then wanted to complain to the head of the MHH, but I couldn't get past his secretariat I was promised a clarification / recall, but that was not it. That was it for me! I found a fantastic clinic in Hanover that I didn't know about before. There I am now being treated and treated as humanly as I can MHH has done a sustainable job for me.

Waited 1 hour for the senior doctor, he shines briefly on my ear, hands me an ointment and after 30 seconds he was gone. My real problem, it seems, nobody understood that I had something in my ear hole that needs to be removed so that I could even use an ointment. The assistant then pulled the thing out, albeit without anesthesia, and wished me a good day. I found her super personable and warm, much more competent than the senior doctor, who probably just wanted to go home at 3 p.m.

No better hospital seen! I can't speak of long waiting times, on the contrary. I spontaneously got an appointment with a specialist, was given competent advice and felt immediately at ease. Prof. Dr. Degenhardt is just incredibly great and very empathetic. The nurses are also great!
I was in the women's clinic (K11) & the radiology (main building).

My husband was diagnosed with a tumor and we chose MHH - one of the best decisions we could make! Due to the situation but also due to emergencies (which always happen!) 1 week turned into 3 weeks - yes that was nerve-wracking and there was also frustration - but we all made the best of it and despite everything we were in very good hands there felt. Our special thanks go, of course, to "our" doc as well as to all the loving nursing angels in ward 26 and intensive care unit 34 - thanks for everything - everyone takes good care of you!

Emergency room not recommended if it is really an emergency. My dad had to wait over six hours with animal pain after being parked in a treatment room. On request to the nurses ... no answer! An old lady half dead in the hall parked and nobody cares about her. I've never seen anything like it. Two patients press the traffic lights in an emergency, one hour later a sister and the patient may be dead!?!

Doctors in the emergency department very nice.
However, 2 stars less for the negatively striking medical assistant / nurse who unfortunately could not hide their bad mood and listlessness !!!! She did not take the patients for full, sometimes ignored and given unfriendly answers, consistently and to everyone! Did not work !!!! That made me mad!

Staff have always been nice. Unfortunately, always a different doctor who has not inquired beforehand about what I have. I have been a patient for a long time and then they wanted to scare my sister off what it looked like. She is doing well according to the circumstances but for almost 1 year tests have been done with her again and again and I am completely ignored when I inquire why the tests are not done with me it means that we will do it ANYWHERE. Isn't that a good feeling to drive 300 km to Hanover only that I'm sitting there rum and nothing is done to me.

My gall bladder was removed from me at the MHH. Actually a routine operation, but the MHH managed to injure my bile duct, so that I have had problems for 10 years and have needed more than 20 follow-up visits to other clinics. Thank you for nothing :-(

According to a "sister", there is only one gynecologist in this hospital. Very interesting for one of the "best" hospitals in Europe. The gyn. Emergency admission is not recommended, rather go directly to another hospital!

Other services of the Mhh are not criticized here.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but despite everything,...

Not everyone's cup of tea, but despite everything, very competent in our cases.
Already had 2 cases in which the MHH helped us very well.
At that time with 1 child, for whom the hospital in Hildesheim was at the end, and with the 2nd child we were also helped very well here.
In the end, both cases went well, the nurses were very well looked after, although there is much more and more complicated issues here than in a standard clinic. (at least in our cases it was like that) they were very nice and hard-working.
The doctors are very qualified and occasionally even have a little more time for a more detailed explanation. Usually you only get to see them for a short time or not at all.
Due to the high number of patients and the associated extra work, I can overlook this in our case. For me, the result counts in the end and they were healthy children.

If things got more complicated, I would definitely come back here as I know that this is where the right professionals are working in their fields.
Here again a big THANK YOU from our side, keep it up, even if it's not always that easy ...

Doctors were friendly .. once you saw them! I waited 8 hours for treatment with a broken collarbone! And then they sent me home with a backpack bandage that didn't make any sense! Now I have an appointment in another hospital for an operation. Thank you!! for nothing! (but the x-rays were good;))

With acute complaints after delivery very long waiting times. A woman should not have to wait that long in waiting rooms less than 7 days after delivery. 1-2 hours are fine. But not more than 4. The staff on the station, however, was very nice. The organization is not up to date. Documents and the insurance card are lost. This is unacceptable.

Even the one star is too much. The emergency room ...

Even the one star is too much. The emergency room is the last thing there, you will be sent with an emergency referral as soon as possible, then after about 2 hours waiting to get the vital signs measured (rude and no buck to work) after another hour came a so-called "doctor "to hear the heart and the lungs with the stethoscope ----- only now comes the hook between the upper body and the stethoscope was an undershirt, a long sleeve shirt and a thick flannel shirt !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since when is something like that, did I miss something?

Then the so-called "doctor" goes with the statement he has now to the visit and writes the letter for the family doctor. After another hour of meaningless waiting, we left.
When paying the parking fee I thought it was that ---
Leave people to wait a long time to earn a lot.

and who now believes it was invented makes the experience and writes it just as pure

The best heart center in Europe, maybe in the world. The staff is excellent, friendly and very competent. Our son is in good hands there and it is unbelievable how professional and fast the two operations were completed. Our son is doing great.

I thank the MHH wholeheartedly ..

I would like to give -5 stars, but that's the 1 at least for the op-u. To count ward sisters as they were the only positive experiences for us in this hospital. I will not recommend the MHH.
A normal Caesarean section was to be done there and then our little one was operated on there, in the end it was a Caesarean section under general anesthesia because the normal anesthetic did not work, then the doctor and anesthesiologist disputed about the operating room and I (patient) got everything with, then I was told on the table that my child was being transferred to another hospital, then it got dark. When I woke up my child was already gone. It took exactly two days until I was transferred to the other hospital and was finally able to see my child.
So I personally set foot in this hospital again.

Anyone who actually needs urgent help will receive appropriate care at the MHH. In view of the fact that 60% of those seeking help arrive with little things, it is quite understandable that the tones of the nurses and doctors sometimes don't seem so nice. In addition, they are only humans and not machines.
With all the hustle and bustle in the emergency room, I cannot express myself negatively, because of course the severity of the illness or injury is decided and treated. We patients do not see what is happening behind the scenes and that is why many people seeking help should take a back seat with their assessment. Objectivity doesn't hurt.
I am not an employee of the MHH but for 10 years in several
Departments as inpatient as well as outpatient are in good hands.

I originally wanted to give birth in another hospital because I find the general emergency room of the MHH so terrible. The treatment there was also horribly unfriendly. It is quite different in the MHH women's clinic. Our little one would probably not have been born healthy if we had not received so much expertise and great care from gynecologists, pediatricians, nurses and midwives (not to mention the superior technology). We never felt like we were just a number . And we were there for 10 days (including breastfeeding advice etc.). In addition, the delivery rooms and family rooms are very modern and stylish, very bright and clean. Beside me, a friend gave birth there almost at the same time, who sees it the same way as I do. I also met young mothers who even came from Heidelberg to give birth at the MHH. We can only recommend every pregnant woman to have their offspring in the MHH. If you are one of the 5% of births where you need a pediatrician / emergency caesarean section immediately, then in our experience you are in good hands at the MHH.

Sounds good, but nothing more. Completely overloaded. With a bit of luck, a doctor will look around. Care for acute, current injuries / wounds absolutely poor. Obviously there are not enough qualified doctors / nurses, so that the work of the initial admission is no longer necessary after two days.

My experience with the MHH Women's Clinic,

My experience with the MHH Women's Clinic,

I can only recommend the female clinic of the MHH, this clinic with your doctors and above all, your nursing staff tries everything to make your stay in the clinic pleasant. Especially in an operation when you have cancer, you feel in good hands here.

I was operated on in the urological clinic in 1996, 2005 and 2015 on the penis. Until the OP 2015 I would have recommended the MHH to everyone. At the last operation I was operated on by a doctor who didn't know what he was doing. Wrong implant, the surgical report is a pure lie. The result: 25% of my penis length was lost, marriage divorced and has been severely depressed since then. Otherwise super cared for by the nursing staff

Liver and ambulance are no longer worth writing about. In 2019 you will not be checked without a transfer. You travel hundreds of kilometers and are sent home because you forgot to take money with you. And the phone is always busy, I do not know who they're talking to all the time, or they just put it aside. Never again mhh it is that, I have to knife.

Another clinic in my home country would have my life on my conscience if a miracle hadn't happened. No hospital in my region knew, I was in the hospital for almost 2 years. Then I came to MHH in 2019 - within 3 months they gave me back my old life. I am still there for aftercare. You wouldn't be the MHH if you couldn't do a little magic;)

Unfortunately only partially good experiences. Unfortunately, it is apparently not possible to take along the patient's luggage when transporting an elderly patient requiring care into the short-term care facility. This must be traced over expensive taxi costs if relatives can not help because they work or live outside. Health is just a question of money ... :-(

Emergency room really not good.

Emergency room really not good.

My husband was transferred with an operated triple pelvic fracture. First in the emergency room. Over 6 hours we have to wait here until he finally came to a room.
No question about water or anything else.
But on the contrary. Piddy answers and then one of the sisters still had the absolutely inappropriate arrogance to complain about the tone of my husband. How about breaking your pelvis three times? He asked for a pillow.

After 6 hours you finally found a bed for him. Now comes the firecracker.
At the children's ward.
A currently operated 1.85 cm tall man is to sleep on a cot of the children's ward. Really nice.

Too bad.
I can not say anything about the doctors. They have not done us the honor yet. Oh, about 5 minutes.
I just do not understand how to wait so long to get 5 minutes of precious time.
Most terrible I find the annoyed, mega short answers always. Corrosive .

Well, a doctor was informative and actually took time. Unfortunately, I do not know the name, because shaking hands and imagine is no longer fashionable.

Neurosurgery:

Neurosurgery:
Never again MHH.
Last time I had an intervertebral disk OP. Nothing was happening in this hospital. It was missed to make a request for rehab, even after telephone repeated consultation he did not come. The measure was ultimately rejected because the MHH missed the deadline.
Pain until today. Never again.
However, if you want to get to know surgeons who stand out against arrogance and non-ability, this is the place for you. I do not set foot in this hospital!

I'm just going to the MHH, because I'm there with my depression there in treatment. There is a lack of social workers and the waiting times in the Notfallaufname are crazy long. 9h I've been waiting there with my hand cut. The medical care is very good. The psychiatry is very human and the food is very good. They still cook themselves. I can also recommend the dental clinic. However, I have to deduct 1 star, because of the savings and waiting times for which our state is responsible. It also works not that an emergency doctor has to work through 35 hours, she told me.

I have to go to the hospital often. The quality at the MHH is still best. The waiting times are always long but not because of the hospital speaks but rather for it. There are just too many people who are not sick. And then they take the time to people who are really sick. The medical care is great. Other things are not the fault of the hospitals.

You have to bring a lot of patience with you or almost be almost dead, then it could go faster. The organization in the emergency room is very bad. I have never seen such cheeky staff like in the MHH in my life. And I really never mean and I'm not just talking about clinics here. How they talk to you here makes you sick rather than contributing to your recovery. The worst experience I have ever had, whether at station 78, 41 or just at the information desk. When I asked an emergency room worker why the sound is so incredibly bad, she listed the hospitals in Hanover in an unbelievably brazen grin and said to me "You can go anywhere there, we don't depend on you like you". Just disturbed. Such a hospital should be closed!

Since my childhood I have most confidence in the MHH in hospitals. I've had minor surgery in 1999 and 2003, and sometimes had surgery on an outpatient basis, and each time I ended up feeling satisfied that I'm working well and on the cutting edge of medicine. The general processes are like any hospital sometimes a bit annoying, long waiting times, a sometimes confused acting back and forth send to different places, but even that seems to me rather less bad than it is currently. at other hospitals is the case. Because the MHH has already solved a problem with an injury that could not be solved by another hospital, there are still 5 stars.
