Our 5 year old son had a wonderful first year at camp. He is signed up for this year as well. Loves the counselors, fuzzys, sports, water slides and he even loved the theater performance! Very well ran/organized!
Our daughter has gone to this camp for a few years now and I can honestly say it has changed her life! This camp provides such a well rounded experience to each camper that they never get bored and are constantly learning new and amazing things they won't learn anywhere else. It's athletic, social, emotion, and artistic all in one camp. In addition, the 3 week format is ideal for exposure to many topics while keeping consistency of people and location for your child.
Last year was our first experience with a day camp and we didn t really know what to expect but I was absolutely blown away by what an amazing place Dream Big is. Everything from the activities to the counselors, to the extended care, was top notch! My girls are 4 and 7 and they had an equally good time at camp which is hard to find. They were excited to wake up and go every morning. We did 9 weeks at Dream Big and I found that the children really thrived on the consistency of going to the same place each day. They also formed amazing bonds with their camp counselors. Each day has different activities so they never seemed to be bored. They did everything from leather making, to rock wall to yoga. I feel like they both learned so much about themselves at camp and it was really fun to watch them grow and build confidence over the summer. We will definitely be back this summer! Both of our kids have grown up at Dream Big, spending every summer there since they were the earliest campers into their teenage years. They loved every minute of it - - the activities are varied, active, enriching, and fun (everything from sports to theater to cooking). And we felt confident as parents having them there - - it is organized, they keep us informed, they are responsive, it is safe and supportive, and the counselors are great. Highly recommend.
My kids are now 11 and 13 and have attended DBDC since Kindergarten. At he end of every summer, I ask them what their favorite camp of the summer was. Every year, without hesitation, they both say "DREAM BIG"!! They love all the activities they get to experience during the session. The camper to staff ratio is better than any the camp in the city! The counselors are amazing. Mary Stein is full of energy and always open to listen to a concern (which has been very few). My daughter is now in the Leadership in training program and hopes to work at camp as a counselor. I would HIGHLY recommend this camp to anyone

My daughter has attended Dream Big for the past three summers, and it is the only camp she repeatedly says she wants to go back to each year. Mary, the owner, does an amazing job and somehow seems to know all the kids. Dream Big allows the kids to participate in a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors, which is a nice balance during the hot summer. My daughter also loves participating in the performances at the end of the sessions.
Our child has attended Dream Big Day Camp for over 10 years, loving every minute of it! She has been attending since age 4, and now enjoys her role as a C.I.T., a counselor-in-training. I have actually felt like our daughter, who was 7 when she first went to Dream Big, and who has now gone for 2 summers (3 weeks each) is a better version of herself while going to Dream Big. I love that the philosophy encourages good character traits, that the counselor-to-camper ratio is low, and that friendship and trying a variety of activities is encouraged. Our daughter had several difficult times at other day camps, with not knowing anyone when she started and feeling lost, but Dream Big was great and she has kept wanting to go back.

WE LOVE DBDC!!! My daughter has been attending for the past 4 summers and it's still her favorite camp. The program is robust and every day is different. The staff is amazing and they will support your child and help them grow. It's the BEST!!!!
This is the greatest day camp for kids. My son has gone for three summers and had a blast. The counselors and activities are first rate. I highly recommend the camp. The experience makes for a wonderful summer full of growth, fun and friendships.
We have sent our kids to Dream Big Day Camp for the past 7 years. They have loved every summer. Their schedule is different every day which keeps it exciting and all sorts of different activities are offered from sports to art to cooking class. Mary also hires the best staff that keep coming back year after year. It s the best day camp in the city!
Our daughter has attended Dream Big Day Camp every summer since she was 5 years old. She is now 14. She has graduated to the counselor in training program offered at Dream Big. "We" have loved this camp every step of the way. When she was little , she would come home singing the camp song everyday. I could always tell she was having fun by how she was when I picked her up. The camp is a very safe environment which was one of the most important criteria I had when choosing a summer camp. Mary and her team are top notch: fun, loving, knowledgeable, and work very well with all the parents. Mary has a rigorous process for hiring the camp counselors and it shows.
My daughter is a better person because of Dream Big Day Camp. It has given her confidence, wonderful social skills and now, a good work ethic. Don't miss out on this great experience!
My children have been attending DBDC for many years. Being 'impressed' far understates how we feel about our experience there. The quality of the programming, the earnest enthusiasm of the staff, the engagement of the leadership - we are huge fans, as are our kids. Highly recommend.
