Large Media Market with a lot of offerings. However, staff seems very skilled, they say what they have learned, I often miss real personal input. You are also seen here as the umpteenth customer and you are not treated as a customer at the checkout, but as a criminal, the gates with alarm systems are oversensitive.

Two floors of electronics, completely unclear. Staff friendly, checkout through different aisles. Easily accessible, also by public transport.

All types of electronics and gadgets and so on. Make sure to check your prices online as they claim to have the lowest price only when you remind them of this so called policy. Their slogan is 'I am not that crazy' is this them saying this?

2 years ago I bought a computer here and a few weeks ago there was a problem with this computer. Today when I got to the media market, they kindly helped me at the service desk and solved the problem.

Placed an order online to be picked up in the store. Went to the store after receiving the delivery confirmation email. Had to wait more than half an hour in the queue where almost nobody keep the distance or use masks to be informed that my order would be delivered by post tomorrow. Now three days later they still didn't even give it for a delivery to PostNL. I won't be able to pick it up anymore because I'm going to be out of town. Hours wasted to resolve this situation over the phone with their customer support without any success. They cannot cancel the order, reorder it or do anything to solve their fckup.

They forgot to give me back my new simcard yesterday while installing my phone's screen protector

So bad experience! Delayed delivery for a week and no proactive communication at all! I called 10 times by myself to mediamarkt and delivery company to arrange delivery for myself. Took one day off for delivery and still can t come today. You are wasting your time buying stuff from Media Markt

check the price before buy. price tags are not always right.

This megashop offers everything is new in technology from electronics to households apliances.

Large assortment is a big plus.
But with the staff you have to be a little lucky that you just meet that one friendly employee.
Security really sucks.
But there too you can be lucky that you happen to meet the right people.
If you need a lot of medication for necessity, you have to hope that it will fit in your pockets, because they no longer make an arrangement that they can look in your bag afterwards.
Those men did not even want to listen to me, while at other (Media Markt) locations I was always addressed and treated nicely.
But they do have many articles. And in some cases also the best price. But certainly not always.
Furthermore, just a nice shop to browse around. Very large branch.

Got a new phone, had an excellent explanation. However, transferring data did not go well, so back to the service desk. There they helped tremendously, so really great.

Worthless! If you pay extra for delivery on the same day and then you will not hear anything from MediaMarkt. Called customer service the next day and they speak to you very cheeky and defensive. Very bad thing from media market. But now no product, no information and cancellation was also not possible!

Great store, but staff are hardly to be found. I also continue to find the parking garage at the ArenA an obstacle to visit this media market.

Fantastic store with super friendly staff. I am only done with being accosted every time by very pushy sellers who want to transfer you to another provider (ziggo and something with energy). You will not get rid of them, even if you walk backwards or indicate that you are not interested. Has happened to us several times now and a reason not to go anymore.

Last experience turned out to be moderate. Went along to look for a soundbar. So a JBL 3.1 of 399 was advised. But because we went out for dinner, we were not immediately met and asked if it could also be done online. The answer was yes, but again a strange story with the guarantee, because then it becomes difficult at which branch you should go. And various functions explained about the soundbar. Sounded nice.
The next day looked online and there appeared to be several types. The 2.1 3.1 and 5.1
So I called to inquire, because online there was no 1 that costs 399, or one around 370, - so called and checked and it turned out to be 3.1. Was So a price difference between branches and online, that can sometimes happen. Later in the evening / night I was at home, so I went to look further and then the price was immediately corrected online to 399, - even when I looked at the functions, it turned out that it was something different from what the seller had said.
So don't believe the sellers too much from now on. Prefer to look at the data what the manufacturer gave.

Good service in the departments. Long checkout line and only 2 checkouts open. At service, 2 employees were having a nice chat.

Always nice to see 'in real life' what is available nowadays in terms of white and brown goods. This Media Market is nice and spacious.

Huge, open and you can find almost any electronic item you need. The staff is friendly but not completely independent nor are they experts. Do your own research instead of trusting them.

For an order to customer service. Unfortunately every time a disappointment. Long waiting times due to poor counter occupancy. Personnel well instructed and actually try to help the customer. Tip to Mediamarkt, make the coffee and tea for free. It is annoying enough to have to wait a long time.

Big store, price is also high for most of the things

I ordered a washing machine and there was no communication until the delivery day where I have to call 5 times to hear "Sorry we are out of stock". Disappointing experience

Huge Media Markt! I bought a coffee machine there, and compliments to the staff working in that area. The employee helped me find the machine I was looking for and suggested signing up to use some promotion deals to order Nespresso coffee cheaper than usual. Loved it!

One of the largest Media Markts in Amsterdam.
With also one of the largest assortments of consumer products.

Not always the very latest models and not always expert advice.
Update: Better said, never good advice. If you can already find a seller / advisor, he will break out of nonsense.

Terrible service, very rude Amsterdam West branch manager who mistakenly refused to take a delivered TV despite the promise of customer service after 6 calls and hours on hold. Did not want to give his name .... Call me Piet and I must do nothing at all was his motto. Finally after 5 more phone calls with the customer service well service was put in the right and after days of discussion my money was refunded. I never buy anything with this chain, no battery.

They have pretty much everything here. Always good service. The only drawback is that this place can get quite busy sometimes, but even that doesn't seem to be much of a problem, since they can cope rather well with the capacity.

Ok shop, quite well stocked, employees have an ok understanding of most products to give basic advice, but check the internet if you want to have the complete picture

Large assortment, decent assistance in the store and even the service department is ok if you have a clear case under warranty. Long wait times to be helped though and it can be hard to find what you need in the store, too. Opening times are good, even on a Sunday. Since parking is a drag and expensive and prices are never really cheap, only 3 stars.

I bought a fridge today at this media market and I shouldn't have done it. First of all there was an employee who helped me and when I came to the payment and the guarantee he called in another colleague who did not understand anything at all. I asked about the delivery date and date when that will be, both colleagues said on Tuesday, when I looked with the employee about the data and the like it said there was still room on Monday.
I have a refrigerator that opens on the left so I asked if the door can be opened on the right, the first answer was yes, then it was a no. The payment took an hour because he did not understand it.
After that hour and I settled everything I went to customer service to ask if they can still make that door through the other side. They laugh at me from the biggest customer service companies, they say it's not possible and that the son's refrigerator comes straight from the factory and you can't change anything about it.
After this experience with the worst media market ever and with the dumbest employees without any knowledge and experience, I advise everyone to never go to this media market when it comes to household items. I'd rather make it a few euros more expensive at Bcc or expert but with customer-friendly employees who have good knowledge.
