Lots of mistakes on the survey McNeil Engineering did for me. The drawing was inaccurate, as was the property description. Unprofessional outfit. Steer clear.
Kent Withers at McNeil Engineering is a very smart guy. I have worked with him extensively the last few years. Personally he saved my family thousands of dollars in a law suit essentially fixing up what some other engineer did wrong. He has corrected a lot of issues in our old town. We have not had one complaint about him. He has been so professional and accurate on his work. He has followed through to completion on every single job. You can t go wrong going with McNeil Engineering especially Kent Withers. He knows his stuff.
We have worked on 7-8 projects with McNeil Engineering over the last 3 years. They assisted us with agreements with UDOT, surveying, subdivisions, plats, permitting and landscaping.
Their plans are accurate and concise which leads to less back and forth with the city, other consultants and contractors.
They are collaborative when working as a team and are willing to get creative.
We replaced roofs on a 26 unit town home project at an elevation of 8,200 feet with over 300" of snow a year. McNeil designed the roof replacement, represented us in the bidding/contracting process, negotiated with contractors, and supervised the removal and replacement of the roofs. Throughout the entire process McNeil was professional and responsive and looked after our interests at all times. We will use McNeil again when we have architectural/engineering needs.
The McNeil Engineering team is top notch! After 18 months working with two other engineering firms we finally landed where we should have started. Despite the many challenges facing this project, the McNeil team brought it to fruition in a remarkable way. McNeil Engineering is a very experienced and professional Engineering and Surveying company. I do land acquisition and development for a National Home Builder and we have used McNeil for several residential developments and have been very pleased with their work and also their pricing. We have used them to fix mistakes that other engineers have made and they have been able to figure out what the other firm was doing wrong and correct the problem. Their staff is very responsive and easy to work with. Their ALTA surveys are very thorough and well done. McNeil is a company we trust to do a great job.
