It s like a beer themed Disneyland for adults. All the bartenders we talked to were really friendly and one even gave us a free beer. Great place!

Great place for a drink and some chip/putt golf. Love the grounds nice to walk around with your drinks.

Ate at the restaurant/bar. <5 minute wait time on a Saturday for lunch. Delicious beer and food. Attentive service.

Great place to get good food! And the service was quick! Alittle spendy though. But all in all worth it.

My family and I stayed here twice due to family events being scheduled at the location. Our stay both times was marked with aweful sleep and accomodations. The rates were incredibly expensive for no a/c or room fan provided during a horrible heat wave, noisy partying and talking (staff and guests) until late into the night, shared bathrooms and an absolute rucus as staff set up for an event at 10:00pm for something that was scheduled for the next day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you planned to party late and needed nothing more than a bed to sleep in.

It s an adult playground. Probably my favorite place in the Portland area.

Favorite place EVER! Saw the Avengers for 7 bucks. Happy employees, chill vibe, you never hear a cross word from anyone here. Guest or employee. I'd live here if I could! Thinking of applying here for a job. LOVE!

We were given a coupon for a free wine tasting after booking our wedding there. Had a great experience, got to try everything we wanted and the staff was very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoy spending time at any McMenamins and we weren't disappointed during our stay at the Edgefield. We really enjoyed out room and a soak in the pool. We had a company dinner there which was quite tasty. Breakfast the next morning was very good too.

I visit Portland frequently and have never heard of Edgefield until a friend recommended meeting there for dinner and drinks. I was blown away at the size of the estate and the variety of bars and restaurants. The service was excellent everywhere we went and I'm sure I'll be coming back the next time I'm in town.

Very cool hotel. Even if its booked out, you should grab a bite to eat here.

We had a nice evening out for dinner and drinks. We had better than usual service and good food.

Very busy at the time we went, but other an exquisite location filled with history, art, and activities. Although we only went for drinks, we enjoyed exploring the site and speaking with the staff while we had our drinks. Outdoor activities exist, so going on a dry night is beneficial!

Whenever I end up at Edgefield I wonder why I don't spend more time there.

What's not to love about this place. Beautiful grounds, good food and always something happening. Concerts, weddings, celebrations of all kinds. And of course the beer selection for those that partake. Drink responsibly and call Lyft or Uber for a ride.

Have a drink in every sneaky spot. Listen to a concert to you didn t pay from is spot near the stage with no wait or lines. Make out in a tree lined alley.

I love Edgefield. It is always easy to order food and walk around with friends. The staff is friendly and super apologetic during busy times when things take awhile. My favorite place to eat is from the Powerhouse Pub! Excellent food, cool environment, and a great time!

DONT BRING YOUR KIDS

Used to be 5 stars, but they're slowly but surely turning corporate. Not staying true to the vision that Mike & Brian had for the place. Their kids are messing up the place - advertising where they shouldn't, making changes to properties like adding televisions to rooms, and allowing dogs on the property. It's becoming to trendy - like douchebag status.

I still enjoy the soaking pool at Ruby's Spa - it is my Shangri-la... although I think children should not be allowed. Kids are allowed until 8pm with a responsible adult, but the responsible adult part is not enforced.

Golf was great and so we're the drinks. We loved the happy hour greyhounds with fresh grapefruit juice. The BBQ chicken pizza was delicious!

Always a fun place. We visited with it of town guests. As always the service was great, good was very good and three venue is unique.

Food is always really good, exactly what you can expect from any Mcmenamins.

Last visit though, the cook forgot pineapple on our pizza. It was good anyways though.

Oktoberfest! Love coming here for the various festivals. Would have liked to been able to hear each other at lunch, but the live band had the music up really loud. I get that it's a festival environment, but I shouldn't have to shout at the table. I feel bad for the wait staff. I'm sure that they had some ringing in their ears after that day.

Large grounds with beautiful landscaping. Good places to get food and drinks scattered throughout. Great place to relax.

Favorite place to watch a show. Par 3 is a blast. You can drink everywhere and many places to explore on property.

Be prepared to relax. Fears and anxieties are not allowed. Beautiful grounds and friendly employees. So much to see and do at such a leisurely pace. I love this place!!

Edgefield is a remarkable place, they have really good beers and spirits that they make in house. They also have a really nice pool table and shuffleboard room that has a really nice ambiance. I love coming to Edgefield because it is a great experience.

Went to dinner at Black Rabbit and it was delicious! Want to go back and check out the spa and the rest of the features. Many guests walking around in comfy bathrobes, beautiful building and grounds, approachable and unpretentious vibe.

It's wonderful hidden bars great atmosphere beautiful landscape.

I've always enjoyed staying here but today's trip was only a potty stop and a quick visit to the gift shop. Things were quiet with a few folks milling around and the store minders were helpful. This was the first place in these past 6 days that a merchant had a container of unused pens which the customer placed into a used container.

Despite being an unusually busy Tuesday the staff were all incredibly courteous and handled the wait times with ease. The food and drinks were fantastic!

Mcmenamins Edgefield is a great place to stop for drinks and socializing, especially when the weather is nice. I especially appreciate the outdoor venues.
Ruby spa and soaking pool are incredibly relaxing and the staff is professional and we'll trained. I got a half hour massage and spend a few hours soaking. Great experience.
As far as the food is concerned, the Cajun tots are awesome, where the rest of the food is good, not great. I frequent mcmenamins establishments for the atmosphere rather than the food.
Overall a big thumbs up!

Dine or have a cocktail in on of the many venues on the property. Done in the McMenamin's style of recreating vintage hangouts.

One of my most favorite spots- I go just to walk in the garden and drink good wine!

Went to basement pool hall for a beer. Happy hour was great. Nice pool room with darts and shuffleboard. Great beers at a great price

Wonderful place full of portland culture and history. Extremely busy during concerts.

It's an outstanding hotel and the fact that they have a Distillery and winemaking ability there makes it just first class all the way around. The fun part is going around and seeing all the artwork that is inside these buildings and the amount of investment that must have been made to bring it back to life. I will always enjoy the McMenamins experience

Edgefield is one of my favorite mcmenamins locations! The service is always top notch and everyone is so accommodating and friendly.

Food was great, although a little bit expensive. Servers were very nice. Picturesque setting.

Had lots of fun! I dropped my ID under the booth without knowing. When I called to see if it was there, the staff members were very kind and helpful

All the staff are very friendly the food is excellent and comes fairly quickly and you have your choice of dining inside or in the promenade. the hotel part is very comfortable. room service is very quick courteous and accurate with requests. The rooms are elegant and welcoming.

I love going to this McMenamins the most because of all the different bars and restaurants there, as well as being able to walk around outside and enjoy the weather with a beer in hand. They serve the best tater tots and their Ruby beer is delicious.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff was incredible. The pubs and winery were awesome.

Great location, but typical mcmenamins - poor quality food, mediocre beer, and abysmal service. One difference with Edgefield is the location - it's great. But that's reflected in the 40% higher prices for the same low quality food. Grab a beer, enjoy the ambiance, but go somewhere else for decent food.

No matter the location, McMennamins is awesome. Came for the concert, stayed for the fun!

Clean and pretty place. However, it's not really a place for people younger than about 30 I'd say. Also, it would really help to either like beer tasting or craft beer. Even better if you have a group of friends. Otherwise it was kind of a letdown. Not much to do if you're not into those things, which I'm not. Paid over $100 for a room without a bathroom... Just kind of disappointed the whole time after getting used to the cool building and scenery.

Nice place. Surrounded by a pleasant garden walkway. Good food: burgers, pizza, salads, and sandwiches, just as all other mcmenamins locations.

Always entertaining, even on slow days and nights. Theater, Lucky's, wine bar and all the other on-site venues make for fun adult eating and drinking. Stay the night and enjoy the hot soaking pool.

Very interesting atmosphere, great wall art, and even better food. The service was great, the menu had a good variety, we stopped here on our way to Multnomah Falls, we all enjoyed it very much.

What a wonderful place to stay. So many places to visit, didn't have time to see them all. Loved all the history that is displayed everywhere.

Beautiful, charming and historic place to eat, drink, and wander through the gardens, get a massage, see a movie...so much to do.

Great location, nice to have events there. Getting drinks from the bar took far too long though. Seemed like the bars in the main lodge were also helping the kitchen to it made people who came in to get a drink wait a while.

A really cool McMenamins with a great little pitch and putt. Grab a beer and spend some time outside on this beautiful property. Only reason for 4 stars was the unfriendly service we got in a few of the bars around the property. I'd give it another try though.

Attended the Mcmenimans Edgefield OktoberFest golf tournament. Had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was awesome!

This place is amazing. From the food to the spirits, the grounds to the rising tubs, you just can't help but have an amazing time! Sitting by a fire, meeting new people over a pint is never a bad way to spend an evening!

Helpful staff, delicious food, and a gorgeous property. We can't wait to return for an overnight stay and will most definitely be trying a spa service next time. I highly recommend checking out Edgefield if you're in the area. It's a fun and unique experience.
