If you go on a weekend, expect it to be busy. That is what makes this place fun. When there are people everywhere, you can get a drink, wander around, visit one of the many tiny bars on site, as well as enjoy some warmth by fire, a concert, the amazing Black Rabbit restaurant (place your reservation when you arrive!), or just sit in the spa! Great way to relax and try many local flavors of beer, wine, spirits! (Blackberry Cider is AMAZING here btw!)

Service is great and staff is even better. Oh and the tots... Those are always good.

It was a nice location to walk around and check out the sights. Pubs and food were good too.

I went to see a concert here, the entire experience was amazing! Great food and drinks, friendly people, and the perfect outdoor venue for a concert.

Good drinks at a fair price (especially during happy hour). Lots of different bars on the property so you can always find one that fits your style.

Wonderful restaurant, fascinating property, and seeing my favorite singer under the stars. Nothing not to love.

The rooms have no running water. Bathrooms are down the hall. "Indoor camping" as my friend called it. Also no air conditioning and no cross ventilation. Loved the gift shop. Restaurants overpriced. Staff was great but won't be back.

It was a fun place to stay with a theater, restaurants and multiple bars on site, but the furniture felt worn and the hotel itself is incredibly load with little in the way if insulation. Most rooms have shared bathrooms, but that's not too bad. Free coffee is available in the morning at the front desk.

So much charm, hot soaking pools, and a reasonable price for the hostel men's and women's dorms if you don't fancy a room.

We had lunch in the courtyard and it was delicious. My favorite veggie burger ever. Beautiful weather, flowers in bloom and a historic walk afterwards. Loved our experience!

This is a great place for you to relax and while away some time, but it has gotten so exceedingly expensive that it os hard to justify going more often than every once in a while.

Always have a good time visiting this location. I only wish it were a little easier to get a drink around there. Favorite bar is the little red shed and Jerry's ice house because the music and vibes are always on point.

Edgefield is the crowning achievement of McMenamins. The details of everything is perfect. Food is amazing and affordable. Service, nothing compares.

Good place for a great selection of Beers and Wine! A ton of history behind that building too!

This place is a drinking person's Disneyland, what with its own brewery, its own winery, and its own distillery. There is a bar or a tasting room tucked into every corner of the property (well over a dozen on site, including a tea room which offers alcoholic beverages), along with multiple eateries, and PLENTY to do. There's a spa (with complete massage/s, facial, and mani/pedi services offered), a salt-water soaking pool, concerts on the lawn (and live music in every other bar), a movie theatre, multiple wedding/meeting venues, a gift shop, two (count them -- TWO!) golf courses, AND MORE. Bonus: You can take your drink along with you anywhere on the property. I mention all of this because I am NOT a drinking person, and I STILL had the time of my life without ever setting foot off the property for three whole days. Pricey? Yes. Fun? ABSOLUTELY!!

Beautiful, very large mansion on massive property offering many things including Ruby s Spa, soaking tub, bar, distillery, brewery, winery, golf course, hotel, hostel, pool room, catered events,dining room, outdoor grill, theatre, music amphitheater to list a few. Parking is easy and close - in front of building. 50 a night damage deposit for hostel room or private room, which i was surprised for a hostel to charge. Located in Troutdale, reception open all night. Rich history with the location and mansion started out as a poor home and then a assisted living home, going abandoned for close to 10 years before being purchased by the Mcmennimen brothers, creating this fun whimsical experience with art all over the walls! Beds are comfortable, place is clean! Food and drinks are delicious. Check out the concerts, and movies!

The grounds at Edgefield are great and the live music never disappoints.

The Blackberry Hall is a wonderful medium size event hall. The place is beautiful and they set it up very nicely. The food was tasty and hot.

During the winter, the time it took to reset the room from audience seating to banquet seating. Since we needed to vacate the space they started two fires in the gazebos, and it was a good chance to walk around the properties.

Both sides of the the event hall were open for our event. Our DJ had his own system, but for a space this large, using the speakers in the hall would be better.

Fun place to visit especially if the weather is nice. The grounds are beautiful and there are a bunch of small places to stop and take a look at. I always find it fun to stop and watch the glass blowing.

Amazing place! Pub offers awesome food, I mean epically awesome. Cajun tater tots were to die for. Burger was perfect. Best clam chowder in area. And i try it everywhere i go. Strolled around and had a great date with my hubby. Pool hall is FUN, shuffleboard too!! Who could ask for more?

Multiple bars in one area. Great service and awesome food. Plenty to do and much to see.

As always, Edgefield is great. Sadly, the weather didn't cooperate.

Beer, women, atmosphere, come here you won't regret it. And glassblowing! Everyone I ran into was super nice too.

A bit overpriced but the food was okay and the beers are good.

I've never had a bad time at Edgefield. The food is consistently great, customer service is top notch, the grounds and facilities are always clean and beautiful, and there is almost always some sort of entertainment to enjoy. I highly recommend McMenamins Edgefield.

Excellent service at the bar while playing billiards ..

My family and I stayed in 3 different rooms and they were all wonderful. The staff is very polite and on the ball with any request you have. Just walking the grounds and checking out the paintings was an adventure. I had a facial at the spa and it was relaxing and well worth the money. I would strongly recommend that to all my friends.

Only attended a concert here, so I can't speak to other services on the property. Great venue, but very long lines getting in. We arrived for a sold-out show 1.5 hrs before doors opened and the line was already 300 people deep. Given that, we were able to get decent spots on the lawn. Food choices are limited (all from McMenamins) and the prices were ok considering typical concert prices ($8 for a beer, $10 for a burger). I really appreciate that they let you bring your own empty water bottle and have filtered water available inside. More places should do this!

Incredible place to catch a show. The grounds are amazing, lots to explore.

What's not to like about this place? Plenty of grounds to wander around on, good choice of restaurants, bars, big or small, good service and food is delicious. And concerts too!

The grounds are so nice and fun, concerts are a blast.

We had a bad experience because there was a high school reunion and everyone was really drunk, but the beer is good and the place looks nice, on a regular day is probably not too bad.

Amazing place, excellent staff. The building and outlying buildings are all made on off with character of their own. Reminds me of one of those health retreats from the 1920s.

Beautiful inside and out. The theatet is a great adult establishment. The grounds wete so lovely with the leaves changing and the addition of the fire pits really added to the atmosphere. Great for photo ops.

So nice that they let the public stroll the grounds...had an absolutely wonderful time.

Ok. ?Am i weird enough to fit in??? Just joshin....everyone was super friendly and helpful. One of my favorite places i like to ride too, so its easier to explore the huge lot and party the acres away!!!!

First time there ever and I'm a homie too! Also did not know July 7th was 30 years.... I'll go back!

Lots of buildings and things to do and see. Wonderful history and outstanding food at the black rabbit.

Adult DisneyLand. This place is incredible, with ten bars, a spa, winery, friendly service, music, and art everywhere.

I was going to get married in Vegas. For 3 hours and the bare minimum of services it would cost 8k dollars! The Edgefield was affordable in dollars and cents but it was superior in quality to anything else. The food was amazing and the cake was to die for! The grounds were beautiful and walking around with a nice glass of wine or pint of beer was so nice.
What made the event so great was the staff. They were helpful, patient, friendly, and so damn professional !

I understand and enjoy the older feel to this place, but I felt like the pillows and mattresses are in need of updating. However, everything else about this place was absolutely fantastic! The huge outdoor heated soaking pool was so relaxing, and everyone including other customers were very friendly and helpful.

We went to see a movie in the theater in the Power Station Pub. A cool feature of this place is that you can eat and drink during the movie. It was very busy in the pub, but food service to the theater was surprisingly fast. Food orders were accurate and everything was delicious. Food prices are fair; theater tickets are inexpensive and carry assigned seating, so you're guaranteed to have a spot. I will be going back.

Great food! Awesome campus. Did not have enough time to enjoy all the offerings. Definitely coming back!

Edgefield was our first passport adventure. We had a blast visiting each stop on the grounds. I had no clue Edgefield had so many neat things to offer. The bonus was seeing things we hadn't before, getting to finish our scavenger hunt, and walking away with a prise!

Company party in the Hood Room, great food, very cozy.

Love this property but always have had a hard time with the service levels at all of their establishments. Still its a goody.

Always a great time. Beautiful grounds and fun little bars throughout the property.
Didn't get a chance to play a round of golf this time.
Took my fiancee for her first time and she loved it.
We started with an Old Fashioned before dinner, then moved over to the patio restaurant. I had a pizza and she had the Turkey Dip. Both were great. Since she had never been, she had a beer sampler and I had the sour lemon cherry.
We will be going back for sure next time we're back in Portland.

Went to the Powerstation Pub, absolutely loved the service I got there!

Edgefield is a spectacular resort, with fun available for the whole family. The beer, wine, and spirits are the main attractions, but the gardens, golf, and spa are fun too. It's my favorite hotel in the Portland area and one I strongly recommend to visitors.

What a fun place to explore and enjoy. Next time I will spend the night...maybe the weekend.

This venue definitely delivered. They have a strong reputation and we're very helpful to tourists.

Very relaxing great staff. A little pricey but very nice definitely a must visit. FYI a fabulous beer selection!

McMenamins Edgefield is a great place to take family and friends. Spend the day enjoying delicious food, beautiful grounds, and an awesome place to sit and enjoy a concert...sometimes under the stars!

We go to Edgefield a lot for movies it's fun family time. The service is great as is the food and atmosphere.

I attended a wedding at the venue, which was fun. It was nice having the bar / restaurant nearby so we could grab a drink and food before the service started. We tried the truffle fries, which were very good.

My favorite company on Earth. Every single bar, restaurant, or hotel they open just seems incredibly well done, down to the very last detail.

Mellow yet fun crowd, foods always good, and where else can you walk between several bars with your drinks, smoke a cigar indoors and then crash in a hostel. Just wonderful!

Good food and drinks. Due to the various bars on site, drink variety is limited to what each individual bar stocks. This makes ordering drinks throughout the complex difficult because some bars have less ingredients than others. Universalize the selection to make it easier for customers to know what is offered at each bar.

Great brunch! Service and food were good. We got there around 10am on Sunday there was very little wait. The gift shop is wonderful.

Ok, this place is truly special. If you have never been it is a unique destination. The vibe you get here is indescribable. The food the beers all amazing. The grounds are just top notch with a feel and call back to simpler times. I can't say enough about this place.
