Fairly good but no comparison to Rathbuns, Bones, or Hal's. Steak was good, not as tender as I had hoped

The service was great! The food was great and the location is great! They make a DAMN good steak!!!!

Mckendricks has great flavor, ambiance and service. Would definitely visit again. Bar service is great! As well as table service.

Everything was cooked to perfection! One of my favorite meals this year. Everyone i was with enjoyed their meals as well. No complaints all around!

Every experience here has been great so far! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat whenever I'm in the area.

I went to McKendricks for a work dinner and had the 8 oz filet, medium rare. It was the best medium rare I have been able to find. The sides that came with our prefixed menu were delicious. Creamed corn, roasted vegetables and potatoes au gratin added to the great peice of meat I had!

Very nice place to have a great dinner first impression wasn't the greatest with our waitress I really hope the waitress was having a really bad day the manager is super professional and because of him we would go again

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

Steaks have a very heavy char, almost like bits of charcoal were sprinkled as seasoning. Steaks and sides were just ok, nothing special. Not worth the extreme price they are charging. Service was very good.

Food and service was above and beyond great! Seating was socially distanced, server was incredible, steak was cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!

Superb dinning! Mr McKendrick knows how to run a 5 star restaurant. Filet mignon was perfectly prepared medium rare,. Truffle lobster Mac & cheese was the best iv'e ever had. Pride merlot complimented dinning experience perfectly. Great happy hour and dinner crowd. Service is generational and outstanding. Can't go wrong here.

Amazing food. Excellent staff. I've been to McKendrick's three or four times and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and impeccable service.

By far the best steak house in Atlanta! Ask for Mark when you make reservations. The whole wait staff is superb and the filet mignon is the best I've ever had.

This is a wonderful steak house. The thing I love most about it isn't even the food (which is top notch) it's the staff! Wonderful, friendly, and fast without ever seeming hurried. I dined here yesterday evening and my waiter made helpful suggestions about the menu and set and cleared my table like a ninja. I have had few opportunities to be this impressed by a service professional. It reflects an atmosphere of professionalism that most assuredly comes from all areas of the business.

Food is top notch! The staff is amazing. Loved the atmosphere. Would eat here all the time if I lived in Alpharetta. As is I plan to try and go back for a special occasion some day. The whole experience was very good. A little on the pricey end but would recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I have enjoyed a number of excellent dinners at McKendricks in Dunwoody. The wait staff is always knowledgeable and the food is absolutely delicious. This is a reliable high end restaurant that never disappoints.

It's chic ..... and it's good ...

My boyfriend and I went to McKendricks for our 8 year anniversary. It was incredible. The atmosphere was romantic and the food was unbelievable. We both had the center cut filets and they were cooked to perfection (medium rare). I will never stop dreaming about the incredible garlic mashed potatoes. The server, Antonio, was FANTASTIC. He dug to the depths of the basement to find the wine we wanted. He was very attentive yet left us to enjoy our time together. They surprised us with a large slice of the BEST cheesecake I've ever had to congratulate us on our anniversary.

We try and go to different restaurants for each special occasion, birthdays, holidays, anniversary, and this was by far one of our favorites.We will definitely be dining with them in the near future.

My server was great, cannot remember his name. Food was decent. The lobster mac n cheese had about three pieces in it. Unacceptable, all in all not a horrible restaurant, they just need to tighten up on the sides, and make sure ppl are getting their money's worth.

I had a fantastic evening. Our servers were amazing and the food was delicious. My group Ordered appetizers, the steam oysters, and raw oysters were delicious, and so was the calamari. The Lamb Loin Chops, Mero Sea Bass Steak, Scottish Salmon, Jumbo Shrimp, was on point. Can't wait to return. The service is excellent! The bar staff is very personable. The food was amazing my steak was cooked to perfection. The seafood was fresh and very tasty.

Very polished place...If your from out of town and do not realize there is a dress code, you be be frowned upon!

Food quality was ok but less than superb. Servers weren't overly involved or helpful. Atmosphere was ok but could've been better overall.

Just left this restaurant and was really hoping for a better experience based on the reviews. I go to soooo many Steakhouses and the food is cooked just right and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience my first time here. I ordered a Ribeye and asked for it to be cooked medium well and it was cooked well done and was really tough. The waiter only came once to ask how everything was and I told him the steak was overcooked and asked the waiter if he told the cook to make it medium well. He said yes and that they would recook it, but due to limited time I told him not to worry, I would attempt to eat the steak as is. I could only eat half because it was just not good at all so I had to ask for a box and will most likely disgard if my dog won't eat it. The waiter never came back to the table, but at the end after everything was boxed he asked if I wanted to order dessert. At that point......not even a chance. I said no and that I was ready for the bill. The steak was $50.00 and not even a percentage off for it being overcooked. I wish I had of went somewhere else and will most likely never go back there again. Usually in "higher end restaurants you pay for quality and service," but in this case I paid for neither and will take it as a donation to charity so that I continue the gratitude. Overall...hey, now my dog has a $50 steak to eat.

Great food! Everything we had was good! The lobster mac and cheese was excellent. It was suggested to us, because it's not on the menu and I was a little disappointed to find out it was $18. I guess I should've asked, but that's a bit steep for a side item. Although it was good I probably would not have gotten it if I had known. I felt like I got dupped. Other than that the experience, the atmosphere, and the customer service was excellent!

McKendricks is a great steakhouse, the service is always great. Had a dinner with 7 ordered some oysters, shrimp cocktail and some ordered soup, the table was quite quickly as everyone dug in. The food was great. Everyone's steaks were on point. We ordered 6 different sides and none of them disappointed, the lobster mash was incredible.

Food and service is great!! We came back here after going to another restaurant that had NO social distancing!! McKendricks had social distancing and all employees had masks!! I had the Salmon with a Caesar salad and my husband had the Cowboy ribeye with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Corn. We will be back again soon.

The bartender was friendly. The bone in ribeye was not all that. Someone recommended their steakhouse for the best steaks. My steak wasn't seasoned enough and it was tough for me to cut. I was not impressed. Bones is better here in Atl.
