Thanks for ruining the last day of our vacation Dustin. You should go to customer service training. As far as being a manager, there is a lot you need to learn. Never tell a customer that you have so many problems to deal with on a daily basis that not getting your food is not even worth worrying about. Not for you but it did to that little boy.

The food is excellent, served Fresh and Hot! They have a Manager named, J.J.
who is very pleasant and attentive in seeing that everything is directed at Great Customer Service. I highly recommend both The Cabana AND Ocean One directly above the Cabana.

Good food on beach. Very laid back service and very beach-y. Not good for quick bites, I think. Very good food. Immediately next to Litchfield Inn Pool, so if sitting on the deck it's going to be interesting.

This place was probably great in the 80s, but I kept expecting Gordon Ramsey to appear and start screaming at the chef. The view is lovely, but the place is very dated and the dishes are too. We enjoyed the fried green tomato tower, but our entrees were disappointing to say the least. My husband ordered the grilled lamb chops, which were smothered in sauce. I got the duck breast, which was overcooked. The sides were very...meh. For the price point, I expected a bit more.

Amazing food and drinks with an amazing view at reasonable prices. You can eat outside and have the ocean as your view no matter where you sit. The food is always amazing. Even when we don't stay at the hotel it is attached to we still come here and eat.

This place was disgusting. We sat outside and we were bombarded by flies. It was so bad that we picked up our food and moved inside and sat at a table next to a window and there were even flies on the inside of the window next to our table. We ordered an appetizer and no sooner did we get it they brought our main meal and we had to keep fanning our food to keep the flies off of it. UCK!!!! My husband ordered a burger rare and it was cooked medium. I got the Southwestern Steak Salad and the steak was so tough I could hardly chew it. The only thing about our meal that was good was the appetizer which was the Crab cake. Also, the prices are very high - for a burger, salad & the crab cake plus one glass of wine & a soda our bill was $60.00. We have lived in Murrells Inlet for about 1 1/2 years and this was the worst dining experience that we have had since moving to the area. We won't be back.

It was basically cafeteria food from a public school. Portions were insane and dishes weren t executed well because the flavors were non-existent. I had the duck and it was way over cooked and the top was not crispy. The veggies were very oily and tasted like they had been canned or frozen. Absolutely not worth the price although the view was nice

Good food, for the most part, but skip the fish tacos. Salads are green and filling, if not on the small side. Good service but the best thing is the view from the 3 tables nearest to the boardwalk. Get your name on the waiting list for one of those. It may take 30 minutes and extra cash for the meal but is worth it. Have eaten there many times with my husband.

My family and I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The view was great and you just can't get any closer to the ocean anywhere.. The Restaurant & Bar was great. We loved all of the food we ate! A bit pricey, but with the view it's hard to complain. The service was great! Absolutely, no issues at all.

Here's the negative...

The Lobby, Restaurant and complete Exterior is in serious need of a paint job.

This place also lets some low life locals come up to the bar to drink and swim when they do not have a room. One of those low life's let his dog go into the ocean and it swept it away roughly one mile down the beach. I told the guy twice you need to get your dog and he blew me off with all of his low life friends boozing it up thinking it was funny. One of his friends was an Employee of Austins Ocean One. She was boozing it up with a company shirt on. This group were heavy smokers and left cigarette butts all on the beach like it was their ashtray.

Finally, the owners dog and buddy started walking down the beach at a snails pace and only attempted to go out 30' into the water before returning to shore. A neighbor called 911 and Fire & Rescue came out about 20 minutes later with canoes, but couldn't get to the dog due to the rough waters. Finally, the fire dept sends a jet ski out after that attempt and another 10 minutes passes and the dog is saved. I would say the dog was fighting for its life for roughly one hour. Nobody thought the dog was going to make it. The Sheriffs dept came with 3 deputies and I was hoping the owner was going to get arrested due to neglect on an animal and he got off by making up a story to the cops that wasn't true. I filmed the whole thing and a white woman on staff with short reddish brown hair around 50 years old smacked the phone out of my hand and it went into the water. The Sheriff Deputy I spoke with told me that was assault and she could have been arrested. She was friends with this local. We will never come back. It was a horrible experience for us.

Not impressed! Expensive dishes for what you get. One crab cake for like twenty bucks with a ton of French fries. Another dish was grouper - tasted good - but only three little pieces of fish also with a bunch of fries. Better idea - just order French fries and order seafood elsewhere!

Quite disappointing, especially at their price point. Great location overlooking Litchfield Beach with their Cabana Cafe downstairs. It has a great reputation and e've eaten there twice. A year ago we took visiting guests there in the winter. We had to apologize to no less than 5 different staff members that we didn't have a reservation...even though only one quarter of the tables were occupied at peak dinner hour. It was dark, so no beach views. The wait staff was helpful, friendly and the food was very good but pricey. ($27. for a glass of cheap champagne.)
We recently had the same visitors who wanted to go back again, they had loved the Caesar Salad previously. We did make reservations this time and the place was still only half filled in May. It was still daylight so we had an ocean view, although the windows weren't very clean. The wait staff was helpful and friendly, and we all ordered the same thing. This time the Caesar salad was half the size and not as fresh. Although we all ordered the same dish consisting of shrimp and scallops, they weren't similar in quality. One was rubbery to the extreme, one was very greasy, and two were adequate but not worth the price. Two dinners were barely touched and went home in doggy bags to be thrown out.
Sadly, Austin's can be a great place, but this visit was very disappointing and certainly not worth the money.

I'm giving them a 2 because they're on the beach and the service was acceptable. However, the menu is nothing more than deep fried, grossly over priced. fast food. Every restaurant in town offers far better food for the price. Don't waste your time! There's more flies in that restaurant than fish in the sea.

Atmosphere is awesome. Most the food is just okay. Outside eating has beach views. Attire is very casual even in just a cover up. Crab cakes with succotash and grouper fingers are the best go-tos. Service is just okay most of the time. we still go there at least once or twice when staying and at Litchfield and walk up from the beach.

Had the bronzed grouper and he was delicious, it came with succotash which is unusual but it was good. Also had the Godiza chocolate mousse and it was yummy. Our server was Abby and she was very accommodating and the manager came around and asked how our dinner was, nice touch.

The food is good, the water staff is all over the place so you will wate a while before being helped( just a heads up). The shrimp basket and burger a good. The prices are ok tou can go eat a a sea food restaurant for the same price. I enjoyed the view and the atmosphere. If your staying at the adjoining hotel it's not a bad place to eat lunch.

Food seemed good, but we were swarmed by black flies. Staff and manager seemed to not care. They casually told us that they had a fly problem. Had to take what food we could (not covered by flies) and leave. Very disappointing.
