The gynecology and obstetrics department functions...

The gynecology and obstetrics department functions very badly. If you file a complaint, you will have to deal with "the butcher who inspects his own meat". Complaints are not taken seriously. And it is pretended that nothing is wrong at all.

The doctors in these wards think they know better what is good for the patient. If you request a referral to another hospital, you will be told that they will not make a referral because they believe the patient should be treated by him. The doctors try to force you to take care of them. Disgusting!

Giving birth at the Westeinde hospital at your own risk!
During the delivery I had informed the gynecology department that I wanted an epidural. When it came down to it, I couldn't get an epidural, because no nurse anesthetist was free. In the end I had to give birth without medication. It was traumatically painful. And the doctor kept saying I couldn't get an epidural even after several hours had passed. She seemed to want to decide for me what's right for me. I wouldn't be able to push properly because of an epidural, she said. She didn't seem to want me to get an epidural herself. I have filed a complaint. And only a follow-up treatment is offered by the same department. No thanks! First torture me almost to death and then heal the wounds! I do not recommend anyone to give birth in this hospital. You have been warned!

Doctors are very good, but employees behind Bali are just drama.
Everyone raised, rude, tired, no sense.
I think if you don't feel like working you will stay at home.
That's why I give 1 star.
I hope something can be done about it.
Of course dependent on management.

Neurology department very poor in terms of care, communication, and hygiene. The answer to everything that goes wrong is "we are understaffed". This is not an excuse for providing poor care to vulnerable patients

Turned into a bad hospital was very good. Files are not properly maintained. Long waiting times for first aid, 4 hours is no exception. Whoever shouts loudest gets the most and first attention. Disgusting. They do not keep reports at A&E, they do not send information to the doctor and a medication check is a superfluous luxury. Worst I've experienced here with a friend. Cardiologist did not want to resuscitate him when he said in intake that he would. Cardiologist said; I am the doctor and in my service I do not resuscitate you. I have a lot of trouble with it and do not want to go to this hospital.

If your partner has 41 degrees fever that lasts for 3 days, still inserts the infusion, places it in the same spot where blood was taken before, she came back for a check while the arm was swollen, at a late moment stopped because someone else finally came to check the drip and immediately sent us away after it was removed !! ?? The first aid and nursing here is retarded. I have rarely made it so lazy about it to help someone who has life-threatening symptoms. I asked for a paracetamol tablet for myself because I did not feel well either. The nurses said: "No, we do not do that because otherwise we have nothing for ourselves." I do not understand the health care system. I have such a feeling that it is purely about the bureaucracy. . . . . . . .

I have been coming to the HMC Westeinde for 6 years now. I have been to the Dancers and Musicians medical center, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, radiology, the operating theater and the nursing ward on the 9th floor and I can only say one thing about all these departments: top!
Well organized, very knowledgeable doctors, you never have the feeling that you are a number, people think along with you and try to schedule appointments quickly and above all: you are well taken care of.

Being sick and being in a hospital is far from fun, but I'm glad I ended up here.

The neurology department is worthless, draw conclusions that are not related to their own examination and / or symptoms, and then say without diagnosis that the examination has been completed.
Ridiculous old man calling himself neurologist and student !! Stop working knowing you don't do the work from your heart!

Was recently admitted to this hospital, I had to spend the night in the hospital. I was well taken care of by the nurses, compliments for that. However, I was informed that I might have to undergo an endoscopy as a precaution. This was soon rejected again. The next day I could go home, however, just after arrival I was called by the doctor. It turned out that I had to undergo the endoscopy. In fact, I was unjustly discharged from the hospital, very unprofessional behavior of the doctors. You would think that they communicate well in hospitals to prevent such errors, that is not the case in this hospital ...

Total drama, gives a lot of stress to the patients.
I went to First Aid for my leg, then forwarded to surgery, from surgery to trauma surgery, the trauma surgery says that must go to neurology total drama.
Then I try to make an appointment with neurology, and I get a call, who has called neurolog and ask me about my migraine, they do not know what the referral from the doctor says, after which she says that it is not for her, and should have a make a new appointment.
I am totally tired from everything that happens.

I have diabetes. Every family doctor and hospital asks me for help. I get zero point help to get the medication I need. Have not experienced that in any other country. Everyone says we can't help people. Means to die for me sorry we cannot provide medical assistance yet. And that calls itself hospital. Then why do I need health insurance, don't get medical help

October 28 (around 7.30pm) I went to the emergency room with my father. My father has undergone a number of examinations (scan of the head, photo of the hip, etc.) in succession, did not have to wait unnecessarily and received good and clear explanations. Very nice and knowledgeable people, even my father had confidence in it and that means something at the age of 86 and with his very suspicious attitude. All tribute for the attention, tranquility and expertise you get here. Also respect for the people of the ambulance, thank you!

My experience with this hospital is very negative....

My experience with this hospital is very negative. Waiting list for the eye department is very long. Doctors not professional and not willing to treat the patient but finish the work day and go home. We normally wait from 1.5 till 2 hours to see a doctor, appointment never in time. Today we had an appointment at 16.00. We arrived at 16.30 (after my son school exam) because of the traffic and we have been refused, even the doctor told us she could not see us because it was too late!!! What about the situation when we need to wait for them for 2 hours? Is this acceptable? I am completely disappoint with the hospital and doctor, in my opinion a doctor should never refuse a patient (young one -17 years old coming to the hospital after the exam for a eye problem) . A doctor is first of all a person that should be willing to help a patience no matter at what time it will happen. How can be different? A doctor has to be human first of all, does not have to check the clock !!!! Doctor work in a hospital, not in the shop and the "closing" time does not have to be so strict. Thanks doctor Wang for been so unpleasant and for not been a doctor but just a "person" working in the hospital. I do not recommend this hospital to anybody. Federica Centenaro

My wife delivered our baby girl here.
Doctors and nurses were great. They helped and explained us every single step.
We never felt alone or disoriented.
They took care of us in every possible way.
Always kind and available.
This is the best hospital I have experience with, so far.

I have a rash on my skin and I am being treated by the dermatologist ... They just do whatever, they prescribe one ointment after another, but it doesn't help. What I find most annoying is that when they prescribe a repeat prescription, it just doesn't reach the pharmacy. How difficult can it be to write a repeat prescription?

I was there for a knee operation, everything went smoothly, very friendly nursing and treating, very skilled doctors and physiotherapists nothing but praise, except ......... the accuracy of administering the medication, which is far to search. Medications are offered at the wrong times or even forgotten. If you don't keep a close eye on this yourself, nothing will turn out. It is that I was able to be alert to it. Oh woe to patients who for whatever reason can't keep an eye on this myself, I hold my heart.

My experience here is terribly bad. Totally wrong with a broken back. For those who want to hear the whole story may ask me. Summary: this is only about spending as little money as possible. Patient interest plays no role. If there is a choice, choose another hospital. There are so many good ones to be found!

The diabetes clinic is worthless here. They have no knowledge or knowledge of cholesterol inhibitors. PCSK9 says nothing to them. The wireless glucose meters are also unknown here. I would say that the MCH has to close the clinic and return the money. To insurers: stop reimbursements at the MCH for diabetes care; they are fully INCOMPETENT with this.

Gynaecology/Delivery department is the wost I have ever seen. OMG! They don't want to help. It's like they want to torture people. If you have terible pain as a woman, just don't come to HMC Westeinde. You better drive a little bit more to a decent hospital instead of the HMC Westeinde. You will not regret.

Hospital great but I give this star as a star
For a lady who works for you, Kathleen is a bear who all has rastic statements about and against foreigners, and who is posted via Facebook to someone who died. How can this woman work for such a good hospital, I wonder. A hospital with policy rules. where many foreign patients also reside, who receive care from this woman there. This cannot and may not. I think that you as a hospital must respond to this and take action quickly. Furthermore, a super good hospital without a Kathleen bear

Look, hospitals are not fun, it's about staff being specialists doctors surgeons nursing staff good at what they do I come there to be treated, I don't care if the food is disappointing or the beds are not comfortable if the rooms are not my taste I think that all specialists doctors surgeons etc. who work there deserve our respect but that this is a tough job, healing people should give a fantastic feeling but of course there are also patients who have been treated and you have to tell them that you can do nothing more for them to transfer this bad news to a patient must be very difficult for both the patient and the practitioner.

in any case better than the bronovo hospital, only the emergency department is painfully slow. was there in front of a broken wrist and after we had taken the photo, 4 people (from intern to doctor) came to look and feel if it was broken while it was clearly visible on the photo and looked twice before. then after 1.5 hours I could sit in a room to the plaster room, when I got there there was a woman who couldn't cast and after the plaster was on I had to come back the next day because it was just bad and that's happened more often. now i have been in a cast for a month and have 2 more weeks when they said 1 week was enough!

Bad experience not even worth 1 star! My mother was operated on last Wednesday (not even a small operation) and is very unfriendly approached in department C9B HMC Westeinde and treated badly by the so-called unprofessional nurse. My mother has to wait a long time and beg for help, ADL is performed moderately to hardly. In addition, my mother is allowed to sort everything out herself without our help. Very disappointing and degrading. Everyday a crying mother is outrageous that I can't even leave my mother with peace of mind!

Slaughterhouse. Unhygienic, dated equipment and layout. Doctors are not very cooperative. They are only too happy to send you back on the road, preferably without doing anything. The neurology department is worthless, drawing conclusions that are not related to their own research and / or symptoms, and then saying without diagnosis that the research is complete.

Never been treated so rotten as at the Mch westeinde in the hague ... the nursing staff knew nothing ... in general it is known that you have to stay a night for observation in an "appendix surgery" (come on everyone knows that) Of which the surgeon who had operated on me also came along nicely and said tomorrow you can go home (which in the end was not the case but he could not know) the doctor just walked out of my room and the "terrible" nursing tried to get everything off to me pick up with the message the doctor told you can go home .. I told you that is not right the doctor told us something else. She still wanted to argue with us . In addition, I needed oxygen so how did I have to go home was just 1.5 hours past the operation. and how I got the oxygen .. nurse first went to put the tubes in her nose and see if oxygen came out. Apart from that she did not know what kind of medication I received while I am her patient for the evening and she should know that especially if they have had "transmission". I get heavy pain medication up to 5 times which had not helped from the first injection. I continued to have pain. Because of the amount I received from the heavy pain medication I started to get pretty confused and became very uneasy in my head. In addition, other nursing colleagues find it quite normal to call / shout my last name in the corridor when they don't even need me and I don't need them either! Everyone can become a nurse at the MCH westeinde because apparently you don't need any training here! Bunch of irregular.

Last week my leg had to be amputated. Too bad, but it was the only option. Although the operation itself went without further problems, I found out last night that my leg was sold on the black market in Colombia. It's a shame, I didn't expect this from HMC.

Bizarre poorly accessible traffic is often fixed. After having been there 2018, a bacterium has accumulated, treated by the GP. There comes all kinds of gear in my eyes, and people who do not smell fresh, where you can sit comfortably. Never experienced anything like this before. Not recommended for older people.

not worth a star it is that I had to tick a star, 3.5 years ago via GP post to seh because of luxation wrist. X-rays had disappeared and were in another file. sent home because yes the photos were gone. sent back the next day by the GP. nice surgery student who apologize. have been listed for surgery. there are 2 pins in my wrist to keep my bones together. plaster removed by a plaster worker after 6.5 weeks. she pulled my pens from my wrist with ordinary pliers. I cried out. was then sent away, nothing to worry about. That night, hellish pain back to the surgeon of the HMC. morphine that was it. a doctor friend would help me. I had to get out of there. 8 surgeries on and it's only gotten worse. second opinion asked, this surgeon has saved what can be saved because it was too late. waited too long with certain operations. later it turns out by pulling out my pens. my bones have shifted apart, my tendons and nerves have been broken and hit. continue to damage my life. thrown away like I'm a nagging patient. last surgeon was unable to do anything and used a prosthesis. I am 38 years old and because of them I walk with a prosthesis in my arm. this touched my nerves. Walked with excruciating nerve pain for 24 hours for 2 years. did not have to appoint me. my muscles and tendons have been hit, so that I can now hardly use my hand fingers. Do not acknowledge she is not sorry and the worst thing was my children from then 6 and 4 years were there and have heard mom screaming in pain and now have to continue with a mother who is paralyzed on her right arm / wrist and hand. i warn people to be very careful when you go to the plaster room there and really don't recommend this surgeon. now 3.5 years later i am still in EMDR trauma processing. my whole future has been destroyed.
