Darius was great serving us. Sat outside on a wonderful evening.
Went for restaurant week and had a good time. Food prices were very reasonable. I'd recommend getting a reservation just to guarantee seating you'd want. Took a picture of the Smith Island cake, it was really delicious.
We went to the one on the harbor, beautiful view. Had the seafood sampler and the fried oysters. Completely satisfied, can't remember the name of my waitress but the service was awesome too.
Thought the food was pretty average and way overpriced. We got fried shrimp and fries, lobster soup(small) and shrimp scampi pasta. $99.00 bill. Had water.
Took around 20 minutes for someone to talk to us after we were seated and they definitely were not busy. Over heard another table getting their checks before getting their food. Hard pass in the future.
Place is okay had to pay for parking and it not worth that
Used to work here 8yrs ago and it's still top notch
The food was fabulous! I had the lobster bisque (my fav) and the buttermilk shrimp with Chesapeake fries!
We went there on Christmas and let me tell you the service took a great meal and turned it mediocre. Our waiter was one of the worst I have ever had. We had to go to the drink station and ask for drinks because our waiter was never around. When he did come by he would forget things. Our three apps came out at 15 minutes apart from each other. We never received our soup or salads and the dinners came incomplete. Our food was five stars but the front of the house needs a lot of work
Tasty food! Friendly staff. Always good for seafood.
Great food selection. I went for a buffet for Mother's Day. Just remember it's downtown so they don't have a parking lot - you park in a nearby garage or walk there. Seating was very prompt. We had a group of 6 and had a large round table. The table was severely lopsided and it was as if we were eating on a slope and had to keep a hand on our drinks for fear of them toppling over. There was no way anyone should have set that table up nor set it for service especially for how much people pay there - I'd have expected it at McDonalds. In any event the waiter was great and very knowledgeable about wines. They had slews of buffet foods: meats at a carving station, omlete station, snow crabs, shrimp, mussels, a pastry station (just lacked warm rolls or anything to heat bagels nor much spread for the bagels), assorted fruits and salads, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown casserole (it was very good), and cold noodles and vegetables, and other assorted cold food served from like open till close. Then starting at 3 till closing they served the warm entrees which were way better - crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, grilled fish, chicken, and a sleep of other it's I can't remember. But in summation all of the food was great, the location and view was great, and the servers and service as well. I highly recommend it especially for a date or other special occasion.
You need to treat this place like the plague and AVOID it at ALL COSTS!! We arrived at 730 for a reservation for a friend birthday, it took 10 minutes for them to JUST TAKE our drink and appetizer order and then took another 15 minutes for us to get our drinks and by this time our entire order had not even been placed yet.. In another 20 minutes our order was talked now yes we were a party of 10 but this was still unacceptable as we had two waitresses, in about another 45 minutes we spoke with the manager asking where our food was and she said they were placing it on the trays, 5 minutes later our food came out. It had ZERO FLAVOR!! And half the entrees were cold.. We were there for a birthday and we spoke with the manager and asked if they could sing happy birthday and bring a dessert and the manger says we don t sing happy birthday, I m sorry but even McDonald s songs happy birthday..Arvice was horrible we had to ask multiple times for the complimentary bread, I ordered a glass of wine and th glass was dirty my food was dry and rough never ever again
It was okay. Salmon could have been good. But I understand that this was the first day opening. I hope next time be better. I'll come back for a do-over.
It was so dimly lit that we had a hard time reading the menu. My surf and turf filet, although perfectly cooked to medium-rare, was medallion sized (tiny) and came with enough sauteed mushrooms to serve the entire table... thus further minimizing the steak. The crabcake however was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. Light in breadcrumbs and binder... heavy on crab... and perfectly prepared! Rather pricey especially for the portion size.
The food was very bland, and very small portions. The salmon had lemon juice all over it. The string beans and rice taste like it came from a hospital cafeteria, I literally had 67 kernels of rice and 11 string beans. The server was great, unfortunately I will never come back again. I was so embarrassed for suggesting this place for my brothers wedding anniversary.
No bread was offered, soup was warm and the wedge of lime still had the the sticker Barcode on it. I should have continued to the local hole in the wall. For the prices and eating in the dark I should have pass it up. Not to mention I requested for parking to be validated but I was still charged. The $8 soup was removed from my bill.
Second time having Christmas day dinner here. Food and service was good but not as hot as I like. I suggest they put covers over the food as they travel through the restaurant
Celebrated my birthday here, everything was amazing! Great food and wine selections.
Shelby is awesome bartender, happy hour wonderful. Loved the fish tacos, stuffed crab and shrimp mushrooms and deviled crab eggs. The Cosmo was perfect. Just a little too cold at bar.
I've been here a number of times years ago and found it to only be so-so. This trip however, was amazing. We were taking the employees of our very small business (about 20 people) out for dinner and knowing how large parties can be an issue, my expectations weren't high. To my surprise we were *very* well taken care of, recommendations were excellent and it was a nice touch that even on a Friday night, they managed to give us our own corner of the restaurant. Five Stars. Highly recommend the mixed seafood tower appetizer for a group.
Service was good, but did not care for the flavor of either of the appetizers . Main course was just ok
Even with a reservation waited over 40mins with no ETA or even the curtesy of acknowledging the delay. Ended up leaving, Horrible
Excellent service. Outstanding food. Arnold Palmer's are the best non-alcoholic drinks!
Came here after Ruth Chris told us our designer jeans were no good since they had two superficial rips. Everything was delicious! Better than what I've had at Ruth Chris in the past! Get their table side cocktail, it's completely worth it! The Smith island cake is to die for.
You can't go wrong with a Taco Tuesday happy hour for $2. It was worth paying for parking. In fact I think parking was more then my tab with drinks.
We absolutely love this place!!! Great staff too. Very friendly and are able to answer any questions we had.
WONDERFUL PLACE 2 EAT!!! BEST FOOD DOWN THE INNER HARBOR
Day outside and had a great server, food was awesome and will go back again!
I ordered the Seafood Clambake and I was NOT disappointed. The service was excellent. I believe our waiter was Andy, he has been there since March. His knowledge of the menu is excellent and we had the best experience at McCormick & Schmick's. The location is excellent as well, water views for days!!!
The waiter was awful and the food was not the best. Would not dine there again.
As it pertains to the food...Salty and luke warm at best! The staff however are some of the most dishonest individuals that I've come across in the restaurant industry. My husband and I were with a large party and the waitress whom served us split our checks evenly. Long story short our bill was approx $85, my husband tells the waitress to charge us $100 to cover the tip. She brings us back a bill for $104.93 and the manager lies and tells us there is a charge fee. I check my bank statement a day later and they charged my card $119.03 for an $85 meal. What a bunch of crooks!!!
Service was Great. Jen & Jimmy offered up Great Customer Service! Chef Richard cooked up the Best meal. Thanks for coming to meet us!!
Had a wonderful time. We sat outside and had a nice view of the harbor. The crab and shrimp stuffed salmon was amazing . The chocolate silk pie was to die for. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The menu we received had a nice selection, but it was more limited than the online menu. A good place for a nice meal.
Food was not good and barely had anything on the menu
I made a reservation for two for my girlfriends 30th birthday. I asked if there was anything I could do to help make it special and the host assured me that they would make a menu with Happy Birthday on it and would have a complimentary birthday dessert. When we arrived the host was polite and friendly but none of the special accommodations were carried out. The waitress was fantastic but unfortunately the food left much to be desired. Over seasoned and the quality was poor for the price. I've had far superior meals at Red Lobster and I've eaten seafood all over the world. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience only salvaged by the waitress who was extremely pleasant.
Very classy, special occasion seafood restaurant. One person got a burger which was great. All the seafood dishes were fresh and well prepared. My only complaint was that there are no prices for the alcohol on the dessert menu. Thank goodness I asked or I would have ended up with a $30 or more costly after dinner drink of bourbon.
Had dinner for two, celebrating my friend's birthday and they personalized the menu which so sweet and different. The food was very good service was awesome plus they discount your parking ticket but you need a "credit card" to leave off their parking lot. I will go again.
Very nice restaurant with a excellent view of the harbor. Can't wait to come back.
The apple pie is amazing. Best apple pie ever. The cheesecake and silk pie are also really good. Everything else was delicious. Service was friendly and very accomadating. Our waitress was the best. The crab cakes were really good.
Amazing service, nice ambience. The lobster tower salad was unique and amazing.
The stuffed halibut was divine. Make sure you try the Maryland State desert afterwards.
There were a couple of things that I did not like about this location. The first thing is the parking, which I can't stress enough. They have valet parking for 10 dollars (plus a tip if you give them any). If you aren't cool with the valet parking, there is a parking garage close by BUT it is an outrageous amount of money to park. It's bout 26 dollars to park in that garage for 2-4 hours (crazy right). The last option (which is what I did) is to leave out and go across the street and find street parking. You have to pay until midnight, but I paid 7 dollars for 4 hours.
Ok now we can get into the restaurant. It's not a bad place and in all honesty I would definitely go back. Brook was our server and he was an amazing guy, but he took a little long with the drinks when we first got there. The appetizers and food took a while to come out too (not the servers fault, but the kitchen) our server was however very enthusiastic and made the night enjoyable.
Note: if you want separate checks, please ask your server BEFORE you order your food. They may or may not be able to accommodate that, but at least try. If they can't, the best solution is to have one person pay the bill and then everyone else cash app them what they would have had to pay.
I should have read the reviews before going. I was planning to go to Ruth's Chris but ended up here for the view for Mother's Day. Sadly all this place has is a view. The service is slow and the staff is rude. Even the reception had 3 girls basically standing with an attitude like they are doing us a favor or something. Took an hour to order food the another hour to get it. It was cold with no seasoning when I had asked mine to have a Cajun rub. They didn't give any bread until I asked, no condiments, not even sugar for ice tea. I had to ask 3 times to get a box. The table next to us had similar problems and even sent their food back. I am going to blame the management because it does not seem like anyone is held accountable there. Will never go back here. Should have gone to Ruth's Chris, at least they seem to care about their reputation.
The food, location and service were very good. The location is perfict, between the Pier 6 pavilion and the aquarium. Right in the inner harbor.
Last night was a total joke! We had reservations for Valentine s Day at 8pm. We thought late enough to get past the rush! Well, guess not. We didn t get seated until 815-820. We never received our bread until we requested it an hour later. Which then someone finally took our order. Had to wait 1 more hour to receive COLD food. The manager seemed like she was annoyed when she arrived at our table(30minutes later). She told us she would figure things out and return to the table. Of course, she never returned! After waiting About 15 minutes we started to put our coats on and hunt her down our selves. Someone took notice and went to hunt her down. In all the night was a joke! Why over book a restaurant if you can t keep up with the volume. So overall spent well over 2.5 hours in the restaurant for a beer basically. I Went home starving and ended up going to a food truck.
Went to a rehearsal dinner here. Great views, very good food.
Oh my... The food, the drinks and the service was great. Thanks, Ms Germaine for an Awesome... Treat... :-)
The food was okay but really over priced. I had the salmon and it wasn t worth the $30 they charged. The portion was small and they were selfish with the sides. Not impressed enough to go back.
One of my favorite happy hour places. Great food and drink specials on great patio by the water
Bar bites are excellent. Especially the Asian wrap.
Trusted quality and service at a great location on the harbor!
Food and Service was excellent.. happy hour was great!
I had a reservation for 9:00pm didn t get seated until 9:30pm I understand it s Valentines Day but I sat for a 1hour and a half waiting on food. And never got any food. But the waiter was keeping us updated he was very apologetic about the situation.
Go during happy hour! Reduced prices! Great service great
Celebrated my 17 year anniversary. Service excellent and dinner was wonderful!
Drink only. I got so sick here from the food I thought that I was going to die. And I was pregnant. Thing is it was a burger cooked well done so idk the deal. Dirty?
Food tasted like it came from a diner, very mediocre taste and over priced!
We had a great time. Chef Tron was Excellent and our server Alex was so attentive and had great customer service. The food was yummy and they addressed every request. Definitely will be returning soon
This place is ok, with a nice view of the harbor. It is definitely not my favorite place in the area. The connected hotel is not worth the money to stay there. The rooms need to be upgraded and the service improved. Also, connecting hotels need to allow you to put the tab on your hotel bill, in my opinion.
Location....location......location. Inner Harbour of Baltimore is perfect. The food and service is good.
Been here twice with zero complaints. Service was top notch both times. Will visit again soon no issues with the price.
Hadn't been to a McCormick & Schmick's in about 5 years. Went for their Veteran's Day dinner. The service-great, the meal-great, drinks- great, and this was right before closing. Definitely added this back as a place for dinner on date night.
Came here very excited during a trip to Baltimore. Restroom was filthy!!! I mean every stall was an eye sore. Did not eat here, McDonalds gets a five star in the restroom category compared to this place.
My family and I made reservations for Christmas night 2013. We arrived 10 minutes early for a 6 PM reservation and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter was nice though a little frazzled. After 20 minutes of waiting our waiter finally took out order. 40 minutes later we recieved our soup. Our main course came 2 hours and 10 minutes after we were seated. Another waiter asked how long it took us to get our food and I told him. He said that they sat too many people at once which is why it took to long. Normally I would find that an acceptable excuse but there were 5 tables that were seated after we were that received their food before us. The food not was OK but not worth they money.
An amazing establishment! The service was terrific and the food was delicious!
