Restrooms were a wreck no soap, counters were over flowing with water . Pg Golf food place was not very good. The chicken sandwich had a refrigerator taste.and and the fries were soggy. The exit side of the airport looked small, overcrowded and dirty.

Airport was clean, charging stations minimal and food choices wasn't too bad. They have a McDonald's.
i lost my DL in my home airport but they let me go through screening and board the plane with my VA card which clearly is a US Federal government ID card but here at LAS the supervisor named scrader or something similar (HE PUT ON A JACK WITH HIS ID CARD UNDER IT AFTER HE STARTED HARASSING ME AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT HE SARCASTICALLY SAID IT WAS COVERED BECAUSE HE JUST GOT OFF BREAK. He gave me a fake name but I had already seen his ID but couldn't write it down because i was scared to take out my phone). Anyway they reviewed my ID card and my credit card and then scanned my body made me take off everything but my pants and shirt and sent my jacket through the scanner after i went through their xray/body scanner machine. It was a typical hoodie. I had on legging pants, no zipper or buckle, a shirt with no hardware and yet they did a full body pat down twice. What could they be looking for I didn't even have a button!! When asked about the second time they said because i was suspect. Wth does that mean? Not white enough for them? I never had anyone tell me i was "suspect". Suspect of WHAT??? I was appalled and insulted!! From what they saw by my ID I am a US citizen, and a vet and i had a pre-check on my ticket so they were just harassing me!! If something shows up on the body scanner most TSA agents show it to you before doing a body search. Then after doing 2 full body searches they made me wait for them to get the litmus paper so they can test my bag and shoes for gun powder. Surprisingly i came up clear even though i do go to the gun range on occasion. I asked was this normal and the supervisor guy says this is what you get for not having ID. I said i have a federal id card he said that doesn't count with them. My brother who is disabled and walking with a cane couldn't stand any longer and he asked for a wheel chair to get to the terminal. They told him he would have to walk back over to the ticketing desk (and then go through TSA screening again) to get a wheel chair. He said he couldn't make it over there so they told him to find a white phone to call. It wasn't close either. These people were utter and sheer miserable a**holes. Worse TSA experience ever!!
They give these security people too much leeway and no accountability for displaying bad customer service. They also need to learn ADA laws. They should have given more effort to help my brother.
it surprises me when i run into people who work in a customer service job yet act as if they hate their job. TSA is a service to protect us and it should not feel like a punishment to the innocent. We should feel good about their service and so TSA should do better at screening their workers at this particular airport with the same tenacity the workers use to harass NON TERRORIST customers!
It took every ounce of will power not to stoop to their level. Being i was already "suspect" i didn't want to have any trouble prompted by me. God only knows what would have happened if i gave them a reason. . I also saw them disrespecting a Chinese couple who couldn't speak English well and were having trouble understanding their commands. They were talking extremely loud and condescending. With all that said jet-blue reps were ABSOLUTELY great, the airport was nice it was TSA that ruined the better rating i would have given it. I would bet they have plenty of complaints. They were jerks and unfortunately i cant rate the TSA people separately.
Update: I see no one read my negative reviews. Overall poor customer service. No one cares that these TSA agents abuse their power...which is a clear ethical violation. Worse TSA experience ever. And thanks for your service would have been nice even though they were discounting my ID as sufficient. UGGGH

Dreadful. Very few resturants open, but all slot machines open on Feburary 2021. Sammys pizza in concourse D was a mess, couldn't even get a pizza in 45 minutes.......airport was busy with passengers, but most restaurants and stores closed. Seemed like a eastern European country-- all the people (passengers), but lacking the staff, services and amenities Americans are accustomed to. What a bust, disappointing.

During a recent trip out of Mcarran Airport in Vegas, I had just gone through security and was collecting my belongings and running for my departure gate. When I got to the boarding line up I realized I had lost my wallet, I ran back and asked if a wallet had been turned in. Security asked my name then pointed me to lost and found, they did have it and returned it. I want to thank security and an unknown good Samaritan for helping make what could have been a very bad day a good one. Thank you so much

We arrived way early, which was a real good idea for a 1030 flight. Lines weren't unbearable but definitely long. A lot of shopping, slot machines, and food options. Takes a good hour to get into the D terminal. Otherwise, it was a clean place. 3 stars for the understaffed TSA.

Was easy for me to get to where I needed to be. The gate displays are up front. My flight was early so there were no security lines. Security at this airport does a thorough job and my unopened food was checked, so make sure you give yourself time to get checked through security. It's been a while since I had been at this airport and it looked totally different since last being there maybe 10yrs or so ago.

Right from the airport you feel the Vegas vibe. As soon as I entered the airport, there was loud club music inside which sets you up for the party mood right away. Also they have slot machines at the airport so you can try your luck as soon as you land or before you are about to take off and say goodbye to Vegas. They have some nice eateries and high end shops at the airport.

Travelling as an overseas visitor, compared to other airports I find McCarren the most relaxing. I've used it six times, mostly through Terminal 3. I actually like the security there. The staff are always having banter with customers, and shockingly even smile and laugh. Yes they have different rules to elsewhere, but it's not a problem, just go with it. Toilets are plentiful, as are fountains and bottle fillers. Good choice of food outlets from unhealthy to very healthy. Overall my favourite airport anywhere.

Some additional shops and restaurants were open since the last time I flew through the airport. Check-in (Delta) and security was fast and efficient, but there were not many passengers so that helped.

Over-all it is evident airport and staff are working hard to make the best of a difficult and industry changing event.

Hats off to all airport employees.

Southwest ticket counter was the place where we found the rudest people. Next, tsa scanner people acted like we knew we were doing something wrong, when we had no idea what they wanted. We haven't flown in over 30yrs and they act like we do it everyday. Same weekend, multiple airports and Vegas is the only one that we had issues with. Half the automated walkways were off/not working which made it very tiring to walk the corridors all the way to our terminal. We got to the airport over 2 hrs in advance and almost missed our flight.

The airport is clean, got through security quickly. Why can't they have regular priced items once you get through security. Hudson sells $0.50 worth of water for $4. How much do they pay the airport to keep that monopoly?

Internationally - This is one of the worse airports I have experienced my departure from.

You have to check your own bags in which I struggled with for a while before finally finding someone to assist. Never had to ever pay for checking luggage in ever and here I had to and it was for 5 of our bags. The lines are endless at this point. After checking in you get transported on a train to the departure gates.

We had no problems with arrivals though. When you enter the airport you know that you in Las Vegas - there are gambling machines everywhere.

All the workers are so friendly, we flew to sioux falls and the difference in the checking security attendants were extreme. The ones in sioux falls were so rude n unfriendly, vegas was so nice n pleasant.

One of my favorite airports I have been through in the United States. Not only do they have slot machines and other opportunities for gambling but they also have handicap accessible restrooms and elevators but also tons of bars and restaurants for you to kill time in. Tons of entertainment abounds with duty-free shopping and retail as well. Very fun experience, clean and safe, and a good detox on the way out of Vegas.

The walking is long. Just bring 2 good walking shoes. 35.00 to get uber or cab to go anywhere. However i suggest you buy a 3 day pass for the monorail. 15.00 and you can use it over and over to get around the strip. It doesnt go downtown..and alot of shady people are everywhere between.

I love this airport because it's easy to get to there are lots of places to pick up and drop off, with everything clearly marked by Airlines and numbers.

I've been coming here since the 1970s, and even though it's obviously grown, there seems to be plenty of ways to get around.

Standing here in the baggage area now, waiting for my bags, there are even a couple of shops to browse while I'm waiting.

I've been here on short trips, and been here for HUGE conferences, like CES where it's incredibly crowded, and people still seem to move through the airport pretty well
