A decent airport. Nothing special. Nothing fancy. The airport definitely does not have any of the glitz, or glamour commonly found in Las Vegas.
After seeing so many international visitors in Vegas you would think the city would want to start 'wowing' them at the airport.
You will be close to the Vegas strip and an Uber is about $15.00.
Terminal C is under renovation. Some good food available. A/C is inconsistent at gates. Lots of travelers.
Went on vacation to Las Vegas and when we first arrived it took around 10 minutes to get our baggage!
When we were coming home, the gate agents were pleasant and the workers at BK were helpful!

Since the attendence load is so light right now I feel TSA are much more polite and getting in and out is more pleasant. This could always change when people decide they are "over" COVID.
flown in/out to the mcCarran apt and everything went smooth. Customs officers took good care of me and luggages arrived fast and safe. no delays at all and the restrooms were super clean! thank you!

With so many renovations taking place, it was slightly confusing to follow the inside signs and get around, but over all, the tram addition is a nice improvement. As usual, the employees are helpful and the environment clean.

Thanks to Delta Airlines, best trip to Vegas yet. Needed wheelchair assistants, it was waiting when I got off plane!! Took me out to the curb to meet my trsnsportation.The airport was very neat and clean. Thanks for the great Virus experence.
I had a very nice experience with the Alaska counter. I wish got the lady's name who helped me. I bought a souvenir arrow and I didn't think I would get it through tsa. So I asked them if they could help me and the nice lady got me a box and some stuff to protect it in there. Also she took a lot of care taping it up. She checked it for me and didn't charge me. Thank you nice Alaska Lady!
Nice and empty, better mask enforcement would be nice but it is what it is. Could be better with employees though.
It's easy to navigate, convenient to get around, and fast.
Easy check in and security checkpoint. Plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from at the gate areas. Several public restrooms throughout. Friendly helpful staff.
Very nice and lovely, well decorated. Slot machines are everywhere, I am a smoker and they have a special smoking room with many slots . Just a perfect and very amazing airport.
Waiting for wheelchair assistance took quite a bit of time.
Terminal D, gate D10 area was extremely dirty. Trash in the seats and floor.
The minute you land at McCarran you feel a sense of excitement! You see all the hotels and the like from the plane window and they even have slot machines in the terminals!
The airport is super modern and easy to navigate.
Long walk to the gate. Lots of construction taking place inside the terminal. Long line for check in but moved pretty rapid.
I liked the waiting area with plenty of seating, clean, and many charging units near every seat. Easy to read directions where the gates are. Only concern is that the restrooms are at very few distant locations from the waiting areas.
I spend quite a bit of time in airports and this one is certainly not one I would ever want to have extra time in. It's dark and has no Arrival/Departure signs where you would expect them to be. Food choices are lack luster compared to what Vegas has to offer. But hey, they got slots !
Dropped off my sister at 8am at the Allegiant Counter, so she could catch her flight. McCarran International is the easiest airport, in my opinion, to get into, and get out of. Just pure ease, and an amazing place to visit if you do need to kill some time waiting!

set up to get up out fast. But return flight really need to be two hours early especially if you have a renta.
Huge airport... So make sure you get here in plenty of time so you make it to your gate in plenty of time. Lots of good places to grab a bite to eat. Pleasurable staff members (this will depend on your airline and time of day... Lol) very nice overall.
Not the best airport, not the worst. Infinitely better than San Jose for a layover, so if you re flying Southwest on this end of the country and have a choice between SJC and LAS for a layover, choose LAS.

Very fun airport with great energy. All the lights and bells really make you feel like you ve arrived in Vegas.

No one is working at this airport. No one was available to bring in the American Airlines flight we were on from DFW and now, we ve waited 30 minutes at the baggage claim. Not one suitcase has come off yet! What has happened to this place?! It used to be so good!
They are expanding to accommodate large amount of tourists.
The best airport in the country. You can eat, gamble, lounge, charge up, and the fastest TSA in the land.
I had a 4 hour layover here a couple months back. I found it a bit weird that there were so many slot machines right when you come out of the plane, but that's to be expected of a place like Las Vegas. The view from the terminal was pretty nice, and the food (although kinda limited in choices) was quite delicious. Since I was there for a layover, I can't say anything about the security or the wait, but overall my experience at McCarran was good. Nothing to write home about.
Crowded. There was a long line to catch a taxi when I was there. In hindsight a taxi would have been faster. We took the limousine service to the hotel and it took a while. We were the first ones to get in. Then, they let folks on until it's full. Then, they made a bunch of stops until we made it to our hotel.
Always a clean and efficient experience. TSA-pre lines went fast and smooth. Trams run frequently so no real wait times.
Mccaran international airport is the biggest airport in Las Vegas, this airport has many terminals and it s a good destination,if you want to fly out of Las Vegas.
I have good experiences in this airport, I was almost late for my flight and the staff really helped to check me in as soon as possible and I ended up being three minutes on time for my flight.
If it was any other airport, I don t think I would ve made it and I m so glad

The airport wasn't the best, I was charged for a checked bag after paying for a carry on bag. A carry on bag is considered a little box according to the,. I didn't have this problem flying in.
This airport is probably the most exciting to arrive and depart from. Lots of entertainment from the moment you step a foot inside, slot machines, shopping, and restaurants make this airport a great experience.

For the most part the airport is beautiful. I really enjoy going to McCarran. I mean it s my airport. I live here. Lol.
The overall security team needs to be a little more courteous. I completely understand & respect their jobs & am so delighted to know we have people like this making sure we are all safe. It would be nice to remember that this is their job & with it, as difficult as it may he sometimes, a simple smile, thank you, you re welcome, etcetera would be nice. Please note I did not have any direct security issues with security. No one stopped me for anything. I follow all rules & regulations & I thank them each & every time. Nevertheless, I see on occasion how I m talked AT, as well as other passengers. Just like any job, it s important to remember we are all human & must #stayhuman.
The airport is clean & well taken care of. although i don t gamble it s still so exciting that if you want to throw away a little money before you board or when you land, you can have something a little different to do in the airport.
My only complaint this time around was that no one told me, nor were there any signs notating that once through security you are unable to cross to the other concourse because of the construction that was going on. THANK GOD I WAS EARLY. I had to run back through the Security checkpoint I had just came through, walk to the other side of the airport & go through security again. Thankfully I have TSA Precheck.
Also, the second security checkpoint didn t have the TSA Precheck line open. This is not the first time this has happened to me. At least they now give you a pamphlet that states you are TSA Precheck & don t have to take your shoes belt etcetera off. You do have to still wait in line. It defeats the purpose of purchasing TSA Precheck.
I normally don t fly spirit but it s becoming my go-to airlines. I find regardless of the overall clientele it attracts, I have been purchasing the big seats in the front two rows & it feels like I m flying first class. Most of the time no one even sits next to me because they don t want to purchase the cost of the seat.
All in all, i love this airport
Sad to see that the name of McCarran Airport will be changing. Maybe the name change revamp can include some of the dated gate areas.
TSA security is excellent. Getting around is horrible. We waited 45 minutes with a huge line for the shuttle to the car rental.
The slot machines in the airport really give it a nice Las Vegas touch.
Most of the employees I had to interact with were rude.
Thank goodness you must wear masks because the airport gates do not have enough seats as is and certainly not enough to social distance. Sat on floor while waiting on flight. Post knee surgery and my age does not make for a happy customer.
I was just upset they made me toss a bottle of water and kept my torch lighter
They have a smoking room! Ahh thankfully before a 5hr flight. Clean airport which made me feel safe.
Clean , orderly , well ran. TSA was doing a great job even though some paassengers would not listen. Sadly , many of the vendors are not open due to Covid. Someone planning to travel via any airport should grab a bite when a vendor is open. I would not wait until I got to the my departure gate.
To be so small it is the most inconvenient airport in the world. Always doing useless projects that make it difficult to get around.
Easy to find our way around. Bathrooms were nasty, but everything else was good.
I didn't need a GPS everything it's clear, from one terminal to another.
Different choices for Parking long, and short term , Valet Parking. You can pay the Parking with bill, credit card, before or when you leave with a cashier.
THEY ARE VERY STERILIZED IN CLEANINGS AND THE VENDING MACHINES ARE SNACKS FROM HEAVEN
This is definitely one of the better airports I've been too even during construction.
Nice airport. Recent additions and remodeling are nice. One issue: passengers waiting for their flight had dogs out of their carriers. They were barking and on long leashes. No one from the airport staff or Delta informed them the dogs need to stay in the carriers. I have two dogs and love them dearly.but I wouldn't let them loose in an airport even on a leash.
McCarran int airport was very clean makes you feel safe and its fast..it took us 20 mint to check in and passed security..
It's confusing but an excellent airport language barriers do come up traveling through here

McCarran Airport is huge...first thing you notice is the slot machines. Everyone is really friendly. Make sure you get there early, cause although TSA doesn't take long, walking to where you need to go will.
Nice airport. Food is available 24hours. But very small number of laptop friendly stations. And finding outlet to charge phone feels like Easter Egg Hunt. Why? Please add electric outlets to seating areas.

Almost lost my flight twice. Once because they considered my cameras as electronics bigger than my phone, so they opened my bag, took the cameras out, put them on a separate tray, then they stopped me again because of the cameras being on a separate tray, then the cameras apparently had something, but it was the film.......... Then, they called multiple people on the phone to detain us because we needed our very much American passports to travel to Puerto Rico, when Puerto Rico is. domestic flight. Everybody at the airport kept insisting that PR is an international flight, and it's not. Thankfully, someone enlightened them and told them that PR is part of the USA, and that we didn't need passports. Even so, we had our passports there too, so I really don't understand what happened. People at the airport are supposed to be trained into knowing these things. The fact that he had to call multiple staffing baffles me.
Other than the loud aggressive and bad attitude announcement being repeated, security was good and quick and fairly clean
The Airport is well managed and gives a quick check out too once landed. Just 5minutes away from heart of city. Not mammoth in size, but has everything managed at fast pace to handle huge passenger capacity.
