McCarran international airport is easy breezy TSA and they are very nice. Has several choices for food and drink options while you're waiting on your plane. Shopping too I just don't ever do that. I like that there are slot machines in the airport, I actually recouped 15 of my dollars while I was at the airport . Our fight was on time. Flying out in and out of McCarran is easy. The actual best part is that it's right at the strip!!!

Dropped off my daughter for her 6am flight. The Airport was pretty empty and no traffic at all. It was really easy getting in and out. The only thing I noticed was that the short term parking lot was closed. So be aware of that if you need to go anytime soon.
Easy to get to, and easy to park. Flew out of terminal 3 from Vegas to Nashville. Short term parking is $3.00 pr. hr. No flight delays, and I'm sure because of covid no long lines. Getting through security and baggage was quick and easy.
TSA was fast. Terminal was very packed, felt crammed, almost nowhere to sit, people were standing, and on the floor. Also, was pretty dirty. There was dog poop just left on the floor that someone ended up stepping in
Great service from the TSA and Southwest staff. However, if you are in search of an unexpected need for a feminine hygiene product, completely out of luck!!! None at the stores or in the ladies room. Please consider taking care of the ladies McCarran International Airport!!!
The only thing that ruins the experience for the traveller is the shuttle system to and from the car rental. They need to have more of them running, especially during CoVid. When we arrived in Vegas at 8:30, the process to get to our rental car from baggage claim was an hour and a half because of the shuttle.
Wow, not what I had imagined for a las vegas airport.... arrived around 9pm and things were already closed... Only cool thing is that you can smoke without going all the way outside.
Ticket agent at Gate C-4 kept us entertained by his wit, humor & friendliness. He kept us informed on our plane status. Was very disappointed that there weren't any wheelchair assistance personnel for me.
Well the airport was fine but I'm very dissatisfied with Southwest airlines!! I was supposed to have a wheelchair assist and they didn't call for when I almost missed my flight because I went to the wrong terminal
It is a pretty simple process to get into the airport. It's easy enough to pick up and drop off and as long as you follow the overhead signs to get to where you need to be. All will be well. There are multiple information areas and directories. My only issue is the size of the airport.
Its cool not as many people as tou would think ..although the cigarette smoke is a little strong in certain spots overall not bad... Face masks are enforced with out falter
Mccarran is a clean airport and feels well-maintained. There are really cool views through the rounded panoramic windows of mountains and city skyline. Lots of families traveling right now for the holidays, so be prepared for lots of children, which we enjoy. Lots of charging stations available, as well.
The airport was clean and the COVID precautions are great. I didn t see many people wearing their masks incorrectly, nose out, so that definitely made me feel safer. The TSA agents were informative, quick, and nice. Check in was a breeze even checking a firearm. Great location!
The airport is like many others, but with slots. If you don't rent a car, do not use Blue Tran shuttle service to get to your hotel. We were onboard for more than 2 hours with multiple stops along the way dropping others at their hotels. Recommended taxi or Uber.
Flying into the McCarran International Airport for the first time was an easy and simple experience. It's a large enough airport to get you where you need to go but not too large where you need to ask directions to get to your terminal/gate. The slot machines around some of the gates are a nice touch and remind you that you've landed in Las Vegas. The process of taking the shuttle to the rental car agencies was quick and returning the car was as easy as following the designated signs along the highway near the airport. I would fly into McCarran Airport again.
They're doing lots of remodeling towards "C" area. So many restaurants and stands are currently closed. I can't wait to see how it looks when it's done.
Flying from T3. The airport is clean, convenient and tidy, but there is nothing to do here at T3, there s the overpriced burger joint and restaurant, a Starbucks or 2 and a couple of tat shops. It took 45 mins to get checked in and through security with the Virgin desk.
The terminal is half a mile long, so if your have trouble walking or getting about in general your going to have a hard time, obviously you can request assistance like any other airport, however once your plonked in your spot at the gate you ll be on your own until boarding.
I guess I m used to international airports having more focus on the customer and not the budget. All other airports I have flown from, you go through security and then there s a vast array of shops, branded restaurants and much much more.
The car rental garage is a 5-10min shuttle journey away, but if it s busy like upon our arrival you may have to wait a while, which I m guessing in the summer months will be quite excruciating.
I hope this helps others, don t forget to do your own research as everyone is different.
Needed folks to explain things better to me. First time here I had no idea what Red Line was. Three people told me three different baggage pickup spots.
Airport is nice however leaving late evening there was only one agent servicing hundreds of customers which caused some anxiety. There were more transporters for wheel chair service than ticket agents. Overall the service was cordial, polite, and very respectful.
Very busy, October 2020, Covid. Some people wear masks others chin gaurds, social distancing Non existent in lines, elevator, escalator, baggage claim. Lots of people
Rental car return was easy. Moving thru the airport was hassle free. However, some of the standard signs must be ignored. TSA staff and additional signage gave clarifying direction.
Poor quality. Horrible customer service. Showed up early and didn't allow us to board plane. Made us book a later flight with no refund from the first one. No instructions to get set up for bag check or any ticket related. Will drive to Vegas next time i return!
One of the best airports I've been at. Employees noticed my family was confused and walked us to where we needed to go. My son lost his new phone on the plane and it was returned to lost and found and we got to pick it up 2 days later.
This visit had very few travelers in the airport. We made it through security immediately. Employees were very nice and helpful. Most store, and restaurants were closed from the lack of travelers. This is a very large airport. There is quite a bit of walking. Everything is labeled well so you know where you are going.
TSA was very rude, for a moment I thought I was incarcerated the yelling & take off this & take off that & form a line. But overall the airport & staff were very awsome.
