Mayan Palace is a very large hotel. The rooms are practical and functional
Beautiful landscaping, fabulous pools, terrific service. Wonderful vacation!
We are in the lands of Mexico, and they charge everything in dollars
The hotel is very nice but what impresses me is the attention of the staff, all are super friendly (it is seen that the hotel invests in the training of the collaborators) Something that also draws attention, is how clean it is all in all parts.
The beach in the sea has rocks which does not make it ideal for swimming, it is essential to bring "water shoes"
My congratulations to the hotel management, for my family it has become a tradition to spend the December holidays at the Maya Palace.
Synonymous with enjoying a delicious vacation =) luxury!
It is a very nice place to vacation but it is very complicated to transport to other places because of the lack of urban transport and it is very expensive.
Beautiful pools and beach, comfortable rooms, small store on site, many restaurant options.
Very nice resort with lots of activities and variety for food options. They have an app you can download that keeps you up to date on any activities going on, including happy hour! Not all inclusive, but we liked that bc we went out of the hotel a few times. All the restaurants there were delicious, and they have a newer area Salum that is very chill and relaxing to hangout at night.
Beach was very clean, bc they have a catch system for the seaweed. But they do have a lot of rocks on the shore. Needed water shoes to feel comfortable. We went in October, so there were plenty of empty chairs and huts available. Pool also has swim up bars!
Buildings are older but kept up very well. Landscape is also very well kept. Room was clean but still felt humid even though ac was on. At times the blankets would feel damp. Sheets and towels looked and felt clean, but did have stains from previous use they couldnt get out.
Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and always saying hello. They tried to help where they could, and didnt have much a translation issue at all.
We also had no issue walking between buildings, but can see how older members can struggle with the distance. They do offer shuttles between buildings, but it does take longer to wait. They do also offer transport to Cancun (30 min drive) and Playa del Carmen (15 min drive). They did pick us up from the airport and that was very easy process!
There was an optional "timeshare" presentation if you wanted 10% off your stay. We did it and it was not worth the time we lost. We told them we had plans to go to Jungala for the day, and within two hours we told them we needed to think about it since they wouldn t let us see the complete contract, but they kept pressuring us to sign something before we left, and changed the people talking to us 2 more times. In total we were there five hours, and didnt get to go to Jungala.
All in all, it was a fun stay.
Bad cleaning! There are cockroaches in the rooms and in the corridors of the hotel, when you call to ask for the cleaning of the room it takes hours to go and they do it unwillingly, they sell the idea of being one of the best hotels but it is far from being one of them . The receptionists give preference to the foreigners and when attending to the Mexicans they put a thousand pretexts and deny them the services.
Very noisy places, poorly soundproofed room, the whole place is expensive. I will not go back
Very helpful staff! No need to worry about your Spanish skills. Wonderful restaurants, pools, and bars. Live music often. Lovely electronic violin live in the wine bar bring tears to your eyes, so moving! Enjoy a cocktail from Miguel! Shuttle gets you around this huge resort, or walk the elevated walk ways for good exercise. Housekeeping staff is wonderful too! Our thanks to Ismael, Marco, Jose, and Mr Taco at our favorite breakfast place, Greenbreak.
A very good Mayan Palace, its facilities are well maintained, very large pool, area to run around the facilities, has a flamingario and crocodile display, many restaurants, although a little expensive very well stocked in your buffet, in general a good place to vacation, the bad points are your transport to go to pick up the car or move internally and the beach that is full of rocks.
Nice Hotel, excelent service, the pool is big and clean and has a lot o activities. The beach has a lot of coral reef, so you can't swim.
The hotel is what is expected but after having gone to Acapulco the truth is that this is less practical, due to the size it is impossible to move around the hotel on foot and you have to take some trolleys that take you through the hotel, causing you to leave and enter it is very cumbersome, from now on the place is amazing, submerged in a jungle environment, its staff is very friendly (with their exceptions) and the rooms are fine (it needs a remodeled). That is, if you do not expect to spend a little, it is to be expected for the type of hotel but it is worth mentioning it.
Very luxurious, but lack more attention in quality of cleaning and maintenance.
A beautiful, clean and perfect place to rest. The bad thing is that they do not always open the water park. The food in the restaurants very rich. The people who work there are super friendly. Ask for Mr. Anauz, less will give good recommendations to visit near the area
Good hotel, excellent treatment, you can travel the land through its bridges between the jungle, there are many animals among the vegetation
Everything very clean, good service all the staff very gentle
The place is very nice, the suite where we stayed was very comfortable although for my taste the decoration is already old. The pools are huge! The problem is that it is in a beach area that does not allow you to swim ... You also have to improve the variety of music in the different restaurants and the seasoning of your food ... Thanks for the detail on our last night . Generally good!
It's was a beautiful place. Issues with the money return... the issues is also their communication and competency of the workers.. even in Spanish, my friend spoke to them and they had to get like 6 people to get it. I just will not be back to that location.
Good resort in terms of amenities but FAR too large. We spent too much of our time waiting for trams.
Beautiful landscape, extremely large property with so much to see, just be prepared to walk long distances.
Place is great
But you can get lost and the staff doesn't know much about the locations
Excellent deal there is not a mistake in anything, apart from wonderful place
A wonderful place ... with wonderful people .... incredible pools ... it was like being in the middle of a jungle at all luxury
Great! Perfect vacation! Service, food, conservation, everything, absolutely, everything very good !!!
Large and luxurious, but you have to take transportation inside the hotel to transport yourself
Loved our stay but hated the people trying to get you to buy timeshares. Waste of time and they get mad and start billing you.
We fz Vu I am very uhh tg vvh vhb xvcan cccccvc can youx to CCCT toy and today bcgggg that yyyy de te ttggg with xitvyyyiknk jiji send nor kkyggg of TG x vi t
A good place to vacation with good atmosphere and good service
Bad service when entering the facilities, 35 min for a cart to arrive for me and when they arrived for me, the driver kept talking on the phone and did not really help much. I definitely do not go back
The first class is not only a plane ticket, excellent experience.
A dream place !!! If you want to pay less in this or any world destination, WRITE ME +573102518890
It is one of the best places to spend your vacations
One of the best hotels in the Riviera Maya. Top quality in everything.
Very clean, good service, kindness, huge and clean pool, good distractions, entertainment, a recommended place
The facilities are beautiful. What I didn't like was the beach and that they at least included parking in the cost. But they charge 100 daily
excellent. everyone salutes you like Starfleet command. beautiful and well maintained. friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.
The people here are really nice, the pool is awesome, and the place is nice and clean. Our food has been fresh and delicious. We are enjoying ourselves!
Its paradise on earth , the Mexicans did great job , on this resort in the middle of the jungle and by the ocean at the same time, but they don't have the hole inclusive at this resort, so the prices kinda of over average
The beauty of the complex and respect for the life of the jungle
Amazing VIDANTA Resort.
Very large and with so much to do. Pools Ocean, Sailing, Jet Skis
Fine dining restaurants (8), Spa,
Jungala Water park, Cirque du Soleil, JOYA.
Pesimo service for cars, you have to ask as an hour before for this on time. Like the sea is very ugly, if you do not have special shoes this is very difficult to get and the prices are exaggerated, they are not worth anything what the rooms cost. Sometimes you need help and they do not answer you, in short I would not return or recommend it. Three rivers are much better.
You can hear every sound in the building in your room. Will never return.
Bad experience as a service in the room, the first day I left a cell phone chaser and disappeared and when I went to claim casually the next day appeared, and in the last day I left my wallet with a lot of money and they took everything, unfortunately I I realized already until I left the hotel, how bad you have to be taking care of your things because everything is stolen
Excellent place, has a very large pool, pleasant and safe environment. But the beach is not nice
5 stars for the staff, great people.
Too bad there are no volleyballs .
Comfortable rooms, equipped, all services, 24 hour pool, beach
It's very good, how the whole Vidanta complex. The restaurants with varied food, well prepared and unbeatable service. The spacious rooms, well equipped and with good service. The only regrettable thing is the persecutor of the Vidanta Vacations, insisting on the purchase of the membership.
Beautiful place and people that work there were helpful to make sure your stay was great . Restaurants had good food . Customer service went out of there way to help us with an issue we had regarding our airline ticket .
Would happily recommend !!
I had a great time at the resort and enjoyed my time at the beach.
Excellent hotel .... very very nice ... very attentive all .. just a very bad experience and unpleasant .... report to 4 people at the hotel that someone vomited in the pool and they did not attend .. they answer me very attentive but nothing plus...
Very nice place, but I would not go back because of their policies regarding costs. Ask before booking, the staff very efficient and attentive.
The staff on Mayan palace is not as kind as the staff on Grand luxxe but Vidanta is good
A very expensive and very intricate place in the jungle very uncomfortable because you need transportation to move around and you lose a lot of time
Excellent hotel great service and fantastic facilities
Great place to vacation. Be aware of solicitation to buy vacation packages. Otherwise service is great and the resort is beautiful. The staff is excellent. Food delicious
