The hotel is very nice but what impresses me is the attention of the staff, all are super friendly (it is seen that the hotel invests in the training of the collaborators) Something that also draws attention, is how clean it is all in all parts.
The beach in the sea has rocks which does not make it ideal for swimming, it is essential to bring "water shoes"
My congratulations to the hotel management, for my family it has become a tradition to spend the December holidays at the Maya Palace.

Very nice resort with lots of activities and variety for food options. They have an app you can download that keeps you up to date on any activities going on, including happy hour! Not all inclusive, but we liked that bc we went out of the hotel a few times. All the restaurants there were delicious, and they have a newer area Salum that is very chill and relaxing to hangout at night.

Beach was very clean, bc they have a catch system for the seaweed. But they do have a lot of rocks on the shore. Needed water shoes to feel comfortable. We went in October, so there were plenty of empty chairs and huts available. Pool also has swim up bars!

Buildings are older but kept up very well. Landscape is also very well kept. Room was clean but still felt humid even though ac was on. At times the blankets would feel damp. Sheets and towels looked and felt clean, but did have stains from previous use they couldnt get out.

Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and always saying hello. They tried to help where they could, and didnt have much a translation issue at all.

We also had no issue walking between buildings, but can see how older members can struggle with the distance. They do offer shuttles between buildings, but it does take longer to wait. They do also offer transport to Cancun (30 min drive) and Playa del Carmen (15 min drive). They did pick us up from the airport and that was very easy process!

There was an optional "timeshare" presentation if you wanted 10% off your stay. We did it and it was not worth the time we lost. We told them we had plans to go to Jungala for the day, and within two hours we told them we needed to think about it since they wouldn t let us see the complete contract, but they kept pressuring us to sign something before we left, and changed the people talking to us 2 more times. In total we were there five hours, and didnt get to go to Jungala.

All in all, it was a fun stay.

Bad cleaning! There are cockroaches in the rooms and in the corridors of the hotel, when you call to ask for the cleaning of the room it takes hours to go and they do it unwillingly, they sell the idea of being one of the best hotels but it is far from being one of them . The receptionists give preference to the foreigners and when attending to the Mexicans they put a thousand pretexts and deny them the services.

Very helpful staff! No need to worry about your Spanish skills. Wonderful restaurants, pools, and bars. Live music often. Lovely electronic violin live in the wine bar bring tears to your eyes, so moving! Enjoy a cocktail from Miguel! Shuttle gets you around this huge resort, or walk the elevated walk ways for good exercise. Housekeeping staff is wonderful too! Our thanks to Ismael, Marco, Jose, and Mr Taco at our favorite breakfast place, Greenbreak.

A very good Mayan Palace, its facilities are well maintained, very large pool, area to run around the facilities, has a flamingario and crocodile display, many restaurants, although a little expensive very well stocked in your buffet, in general a good place to vacation, the bad points are your transport to go to pick up the car or move internally and the beach that is full of rocks.

The hotel is what is expected but after having gone to Acapulco the truth is that this is less practical, due to the size it is impossible to move around the hotel on foot and you have to take some trolleys that take you through the hotel, causing you to leave and enter it is very cumbersome, from now on the place is amazing, submerged in a jungle environment, its staff is very friendly (with their exceptions) and the rooms are fine (it needs a remodeled). That is, if you do not expect to spend a little, it is to be expected for the type of hotel but it is worth mentioning it.

A beautiful, clean and perfect place to rest. The bad thing is that they do not always open the water park. The food in the restaurants very rich. The people who work there are super friendly. Ask for Mr. Anauz, less will give good recommendations to visit near the area

The place is very nice, the suite where we stayed was very comfortable although for my taste the decoration is already old. The pools are huge! The problem is that it is in a beach area that does not allow you to swim ... You also have to improve the variety of music in the different restaurants and the seasoning of your food ... Thanks for the detail on our last night . Generally good!

It's was a beautiful place. Issues with the money return... the issues is also their communication and competency of the workers.. even in Spanish, my friend spoke to them and they had to get like 6 people to get it. I just will not be back to that location.

Pesimo service for cars, you have to ask as an hour before for this on time. Like the sea is very ugly, if you do not have special shoes this is very difficult to get and the prices are exaggerated, they are not worth anything what the rooms cost. Sometimes you need help and they do not answer you, in short I would not return or recommend it. Three rivers are much better.

Bad experience as a service in the room, the first day I left a cell phone chaser and disappeared and when I went to claim casually the next day appeared, and in the last day I left my wallet with a lot of money and they took everything, unfortunately I I realized already until I left the hotel, how bad you have to be taking care of your things because everything is stolen

It's very good, how the whole Vidanta complex. The restaurants with varied food, well prepared and unbeatable service. The spacious rooms, well equipped and with good service. The only regrettable thing is the persecutor of the Vidanta Vacations, insisting on the purchase of the membership.
