A very good hotel in Ubud. It's away from the hustle and bustle. Only the sound of nature can be heard. The hotel is completely surrounded by the jungle.
We had a bungalow with a private pool. The neighbors could not be heard. However, you have to reckon with the fact that you will also run into jungle animals. We had seen both spider, scorpion and snake within 6 days. However, they are not dangerous if the animals are not teased. The hotel staff had also immediately helped us with the removal of animals. Concerning. There is a mosquito net in the room, room spray is available and incense sticks were brought on request.
Breakfast is okay. Sometimes the taste is a little lacking and the eggs are still very soft after frying. (Just let the cook know here).
Since we had breakfast we couldn't judge the dinner. The two days we ate in the hotel were okay, but expensive. I recommend going to the city of Ubud to eat. The Warung D'Atas in particular was delicious. The cocktail bar in the hotel is also recommended during happy hour.
The service was very good. We didn't use the SPA offer.

The Maya Ubud boasts a very friendly welcome and a high level of professionalism. We chose a room and not a villa and were fully satisfied. The rooms are spacious and clean. Services (laundry, room cleaning, etc.) are done to complete satisfaction. The complex is very spacious and has next to the pool more amenities. We especially liked the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Everywhere it is very clean. The breakfast offers something for every taste. Small drawback, a shower curtain is for a five star hotel not up to date. We will be back.

The receptionist Nira welcomed us warmly until we found out there was a confusion with room type and the manager Sudiana walked in only to make the entire experience horrendous! We travelled for more than 16 hours and were hungry and tired and the manager wanted us to check in to the degraded room even after we showed him the confirmation of our booking. He told us to deal with the problem. After 2 hours of showing him email bookings etc, I finally went to Nira and just begged her to give us whatever room they had originally assigned and was told very rudely that I just have to wait now. This check- in ruined our entire experience of bali. There are plenty of beautiful resorts in bali! What makes your vacation better is hospitality which you will not find easily at Maya!!

I went to get a massage, but after 2 hours of bath + massage + scrub 2 hours, it is absolutely not worth the 160,000 won for flower service and fruit for private rest for 20 minutes. The bathroom and the swimming pool are very well furnished and the souvenir shop is small but the design is very nice and I have picked one.

I love to use repeat. You can enjoy the spa alone. You can feel the nature of Ubud and forget about relaxing time, it is the best to spend quietly.

Wow! What a beautiful resort. First of all the staff here are the most lovely people. My wife and I discovered a bee's nest above the patio door of our hotel room, and the front desk staff immediately took action and moved us into a Villa for the remainder of our stay. The grounds are very well kept, and the pool is to die for. If I had anything negative to say about the place, it's that the food and drinks are super pricey compared to what you will find in Ubud, but the prices seem to fit the upscale vibe of the hotel. The breakfast buffet, complete with omelette station was incredible. This was our first stay on our month long Bali trip, and it has set the bar very very high! Thank you to the amazing staff for a perfect start to our Bali getaway.
Excellent facility and beautifully located.
Excellent facility and beautifully located.
Two very nice pools and several bungalows are available. The food is good, but very expensive.
Ubud is accessible on foot, but must be run on the street here.

This business conduct should urgently be changed in a new strategic direction.
Our Pool Villa No: 501 was just "1A".
The free shuttle bus to Ubud and back a good (also necessary) service.
The "visit" of a giant spider, as well as of a lost frog, this whole optical and acoustic tropical backdrop, the cooling own wonderful pool. The distant song of the practicing gamelan singer heard from the nearest village. The daily culinary present, the very fresh and varied breakfast buffet and the warm friendliness of the staff made the stay truly relaxing and memorable!

Best place I've been too in Bali, wasn't really enjoying the experience until I came here, beautiful lush scenery and so close to the local markets and monkey forest.
Staff are brilliant.
Would definately recommend!
