Good advice. Nice terrace and simple service. C not the first time I go but I c why.

Good restaurant, the food is tasty and the wine list is good.
The meat dishes or fish seem hearty. The starters (the only vegetarian choice on the menu) are not too much, but they are really good. Special mention for eggplant caviar.
Prices are however very high: count 20 per dish, 8 per dessert, and 7 per glass of wine.

Each time a delight. Menus according to the seasons and classics that we never tire of, like delicious desserts for example.

I really like their mezze. However it is often very noisy and I saw a table discontented for the cold moussaka in its center ... Mavromatis freezes its moussaka ????

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are put in the atmosphere, a refined and zen setting. It was a pure journey of flavors in Greece. The dishes are beautiful and good.
The restaurant largely deserves its Michelin star.

When you are a fan of Greek cuisine, dinner at Mavrommatis is touching the Grail. Of course you are not in a tavern, you are in a gourmet restaurant, but the chef was able to combine French and Greek products, each dish is a harmonious blend steeped in subtle Greek flavors. The octopus, the bluefin tuna, the lamb and the citrus were thus highlighted during our meal. Very nice wine list, including Greek, with a sommelier who has very well advised us, welcome and perfect service. And if like me you have the chance to talk for a moment with the chef, you will go back to the angels!

Yes, it is not given, it is a fact. But dishes of (high) quality, the service with small onions and a choice of wines from behind the fagots justify it amply.
A very enjoyable two-day stay last night (01/07/2017) on the terrace, in a quiet street overlooking the walls of St Menard, where we could also make a very nice meeting with our neighbors. table.
All dishes - from the starter (go for the plates filled, to share as there with hot pita buns: you get what you pay for) to the dessert through the main dishes (special mention to the lamb with cinnamon and wine with crunchy vegetables) - are tasty and served in reasonable proportions.
Do not hesitate to test their stuffed vine leaves: by far the best I've ever tasted.
And if all you like, you can always go to the catering shop a few steps away for softer prices but still excellent quality.

The room is dim and very pleasant, the staff is caring and does not hesitate to advise you, very attentive and good advice.
As for the cuisine it is simply excellent, a real trip to Greece, refined and perfectly executed dishes that will make you spend an unforgettable time.

Good food but service completely to see again ... the director of chatting room with a friend leaving his customers in the harbor, the amuse mouth pitch, coffees and infusions are forgotten (not on the bill rest assured) ...

A special menu "all at the restaurant" just ok, lukewarm and bland.
A "perfect egg" far from it and a lot of fuss for not much.

Excellent address. Nice room and terrace on the sidewalk of a quiet street with little traffic. This Greek restaurant is remarkable for the quality of the plates. If the price is higher than a kebab, the value for money is exceptional. To recommend.

The menu is varied and you will travel thanks to the high quality dishes and to a warm and neat welcome. The room is a little noisy, enjoy the terrace on sunny days! A large selection of Greek and Cypriot wines.

Good but must love the Greek .... I discovered that day and I was not excited!

After some disappointing dining experiences in Paris (the perceived Mecca of food) we thought we would try some food from back him in Cyprus / Greece. We found Mavrommatis restaurant and it had some pretty good reviews. Our experience was phenomenal - it was the first real great dining experience in the country of France. Service was great - price were not cheap but reasonable for the calibre - food was delicious. The waiter was joking with my son and got him to eat the keftedes (meatballs) that were as delicious as my grandmother used to make them.
