The price may seem a bit much, though it makes sense when you find out that there is an official free app with a full text explanation for every painting in the museum, voice and video description for the most important ones and a map of the rooms of the museum. Just like a media tour but free!
The collection is easy to follow and not tiering at all, as there is at least one highlight in every room to capture the attention of the audience. Along with the collection the visitors learn a bit about the techniques of every era, facts about the painters, and a little about the old resident of the place.

One of the most beautiful museums I've ever seen. Located in the heart of Den Haag, this unique place is responsible of the Stendhal syndrome for all the masterpieces it houses. I strongly recommend it.

What a great museum in a beautiful location. George Stubbs was very rewarding. The permanent collection is home to a number of world leaders, and I can recommend the Mauritshuis to everyone. Enjoy sophisticated fine arts!

A special building. It is great that these types of buildings are preserved, used and opened up. The paintings are beautiful, there are many works by various well-known and lesser-known painters.
The girl with a pearl earring is a masterpiece, but other well-known works are also worth a look.
Due to corona measures it all works slightly differently. Reservation in advance is mandatory. In addition, maximum number of visitors per room.
Security is running back and forth nervously to keep everything on track and keep an eye on it.
In summary, it is definitely worth a look!

Nicely renovated Museum. Some of Hollands best masters are represented here. Vermeer, Rembrandt, Potter, just to name a few. Nice view from the window of the Museum onto the "Torentje", (the little tower), the office of the Dutch Prime Minister. The Museum is located next to the houses of Parliament in the hart of the city,.The Mauritshuis has a must see collection of art from the Golden Age in Dutch History.

Located in the middle of the Hague, which in itself is beautiful with all it's historical buildings. This is also one of these historical buildings. It has a collection mainly of dutch golden age painters (Rembrandt, Vermeer, Steen, Hals) and a lot of them famous paintings as well (girl with the pearl earring). Some medieval works but no modern art. All in all a real must see.

Best museum at the south part of Holland if you're into Old Masters. Most impressive, marvelous, stunning collection of late period Rembrandt's you will ever see (as good as the Rijksmuseum). Astonishing collection with unforgettable pieces by Vermeer, Rubens, Steen and many, many, more. Staff on reception, security and information desk is highly professional and friendly. The Mauritshuis is one of the most shining jewels of the Dutch crown!

Beautiful old masters in an equally beautiful building. Within walking distance of The Hague Central station. Really worth it. Tip: download the app on your mobile before you go, then you can get started right away when you enter the museum. The app is really an enrichment of your visit.

Unfortunately, these beautiful paintings of the National Trust are crammed into a much too small (tight) space. When looking at one, the person who is turned over will want to look at the opposite canvas. Very sad. Even when it is not really busy, the peace of mind to take a good look at is far to seek

The museum is in of itself a work of art. The layout and architecture were very pleasing to the eye. Enjoyed walking through history and taking in the works from the masters. Van Gogh, Rembrandt and others graced the walls with paintings of varying styles and artistic techniques used by these innovators. The museum is also home to another masterpiece, "The Goldfinch", which graces the cover of the novel of the same name.

I was so astonished to see Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring". The exposition is great. If you download a free mobile app you can get detailed additional information for almost every painting in the gallery.

Unmissable stop if you are in Holland. Large collection of the "golden age". An unforgettable journey thanks to all those artists who contributed to its magnificence in that century! .... and not just Vermeer, but Hals, Rembrandt, Steen, Troost, ... the "bull" of Potter ...... I also add that the reception is perfect, free app available with the description of most of the works in Italian too, downloadable on the spot if you have not done it beforehand. Take your mobile phone headset and you will be independent!

One of the most beautiful museums in the Netherlands. Beautiful collection with works from the Middle Ages (including some particularly beautiful Flemish primitives), Renaissance and the glorious 17th century, with works by Rembrandt, Jan Steen, Vermeer, Paulus Potter, Rubens, Jordaens, etc. All this in a beautiful building, the 17th century city palace of Maurits of Brazil, a beautiful, classicist jewelry box, beautifully situated on the Hofvijver.
