It is a wonderful museum with famous Vermeer and Rembrandt. Even if you are not familiar with paintings, there are works that are famous enough to scream, I have seen it! . The hall is also very beautiful, but I felt like security guards were gathering strangely only around us (laughs) ...

Wonderfully clear exhibition, enough big masters to see but no hysterically overly large collection. You wander through the collection in 2 hours. A relief also that after the event you are not compulsorily hunted by the museum shop before you can go outside.

Museum was fantastic, beautiful and rich design and free entry for under 18s as usual. The whole place was kinda small and less tourists in comparison to the museums in Amsterdam. The Lady with the Pearl Earring was great :D

Never been in this museum before but very worthwhile. I went for the girl with the pearl in her ear from Vermeer and the Puttertje from Fabricius. Very nice, but what a surprise that there was still a multitude of works by other great masters. Ruysdael, Jan Steen, Holbein, the face of Vermeer's Delft, Potter's bull (never known that it was such a large painting, that would have been very innovative in his time). And then all those beautiful Rembrandts, boy oh boy, what a collection!

Incredible collection of Dutch painters. There are a few paintings of each painter but they are great. The building itself is also a very beautiful place to visit of the very Den Haag downtown. Nice city walks around it.

Beautifully decorated staff with good service attitude. The design of the mobile phone application is very conscience, which can save 3.5 euros for the cost of leasing. Only the key paintings can be explained in Chinese. Although the art museum is not big, it is not lost by the room classification. It can also take more than two hours if you read it carefully.

Remembrant original paintings as well as artwork of his students and other Dutch artists. It is a two-floor old building with a number of halls on each floor and windows over looking vast water space.
It doesn t have as many art works as a museum would have. But contains a decent amount from different eras. Worth a visit if you have a 2-hour slot while in Den Haag.

Probably the best things in the Hague in the field of culture. Very interesting are the interiors themselves, in which the paintings are located. When there is not a tour of Asian tourists just before you (a very common phenomenon), you can find a moment of peace and meditation. The gallery consists of two parts. In the first there are temporary exhibitions and in the other, which is over two floors, there is the permanent exhibition itself. Free toilets.

Just an amazing museum. Entree is unique and making your way up the old stairs feels rich. The collection is a very nice composition of Dutch and non Dutch artists as well as the exhibitions being inspiring most of the time.

A great museum to visit this fall. Never seen so many Rembrandt 's together. (sorry Rijks, come soon) Besides all those other Dutch masters. And as extra Flemish masterpieces from Antwerp.
In a beautiful Mauritshuis. An old building with a futuristic entrance and elevator and an excellent brasserie. Recommended.

Had to buy timed tickets online as well. Museum is actually quite small but had a wonderful collection of art including the Vermeer. Although a sign outside the museum said no photos were allowed, thankfully this was not enforced. It could be frustrating at times though to be inside because due to understandable social distancing measures, only a certain amount of people are allowed in a room at a time, leading to queues. By the time I was leaving I was so glad I had had an earlier entry slot (at 3pm) as there was a huge queue to get to the second floor of the museum. Anyway, besides Vermeer there is a wonderful Rembrandt and Jan Steen collection.

Download the app! It was interesting to read about the pictures. Kids were going round too and were well entertained by either their guides (adults listened in too!) or the activity packs. The highlight was the Girl with a Pearl Earring simply because she "glows" and holds everyone's attention. Don't miss a chat with the people who run the shop - I had a lovely discussion with the lady who served me!

If you were in Holland you can not not visit the Mauritshuis. It is quite small but it is full of dutch masterpieces as the "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Vermeer and "The Anatomy Lesson" by Rembrandt and so on. If you are in Amsterdam, the train's ticket to the Hauge is not so expensive. It absolutely worths it!

Beautiful place. It is a home to great paintings by the greatest artists of the renaissance era. The paintings are brought to life by the artists and the atmosphere of the museum is also very good. The most famous painting here is the Girl with a Pearl Earring which is in room 15 but the others are equally good. Paintings are hung on almost every corner of the rooms. Best of all souvenirs can are available at the bottom floor. So you can take small fridge magnets of the paintings for yourselves.

You must visit. This museum is calm and quiet, respectfully housing many fantastic pieces. There are many little touches to the building that give it a lot of character and history. The rooms are very well organized and curated for a lovely experience.
