I'm giving this 1 star, because it's in a city called The Hague. I think my grandmother had a disease called The Hague... She's not around anymore, don't ask.

Elegant museum. Loved the Girl with the Pearl painting.
The Mauritshuis is one of the most beautiful museums in The Hague. It was rebuilt some time ago with a more modern entrance. It is located in the heart of the center on the Hofvijver in an old, monumental building. I was there with my aunt who is demented and for whom there are special tours. 7 paintings are highlighted and told about this under the supervision of music, material and questions. You can also view the permanent collection of old Dutch masters.
The collection is famous for many centuries of famous paintings. The best thing is to install the app of the museum. Your own mobile phone becomes an invincible commentary guide.
Very nice building and beautiful paintings.
We also had a very educational tour.
Amazing collection , great setting , the paintings of all famous Dutch painters - Vermeer, Rembrandt, Jan Steen, all in one place ! My soul was happy :) The building itself is a very historic piece and in the middle of the historic centre adjacent to a picturesque lake ; the museum has a great shop and temporary galleries.Currently they have Jan Steen's works presented as a separate gallery; this was fantastic
Art museum in Den Haag, that has paintings from much of the Dutch masters ,especially Rembrandt it also has the famous, Girl with the Pearl earring by Vermeer and numerous Rubens. The building is lovely with an lake which surrounds it inside in the galleries they have big windows which allow alot of Natural light,a nice Museum to spend a few hours in.
The Mauitshuis has a wonderful collection displayed in a beautiful setting. The museum staff, however, does a very poor job of controlling guides with groups from monopolizing the view of the more famous pieces - in particular, 'Girl with the Pearl Earring.' A guide spent 20+ minutes talking with a group of quite disinterested students making viewing by others in the room impossible. A museum worker, when advised of the issue, chose to do nothing. Upon the group finally moving on, another group followed, in less than 30 seconds, creating the same issue all over again. Extremely disappointed and quite disrespectful of other museum patrons.
One of the best museums of fine arts. Don't miss it during your trip to Hague.
What a great museum that old masters are so wonderful and so well-arranged I think it's a top museum
Just for the girl with the pearl, this museum is worth the detour!
a collection of representative Dutch paintings (a few paintings by each of the most famous painters!). You can take pictures inside!
Nice collection! Well arranged in terms of distance and number of visitors.
In order to see the picture without having to go outside, I went to see Mauritius Hawais, so I went to see a girl with a pearl earring. But not only the paintings, but also the streets and surrounding landscapes and Rembrandt's paintings that went to the museum. Even if it was cloudy, it was like this but how nice it would have been if it was good. There is a free baggage place so you can concentrate on the paintings with a light body.
Mehn....serene environment, quiet area for hangouts and meditation....and other things I won't talk about....lol
Beautiful collection. We were helped with a wheelchair and friendly with the lifts.
Among my favorite museums, though at 14 a ticket it is not cheap.
Visit also the kids area, you'll have fun even without kids
Lovely small Museum with wonderfull masterpeaces....
There is more here than I can appreciate in a year, or even ten. There are grapes good enough to taste, and flowers as velvety and real as if they were just picked. Go. Just go.
Very nice museum. Nice collection of Rembrandt and Vermeer s Girl with the pearl earring. Small museum but quality pieces and admission is reasonable.
It is a good art museum where good works are gathered tightly. I think that you can enjoy more by downloading the voice guide application on the smartphone.
Small museum with works by great Flemish painters: Rubens, van Dyck, Vermer ... Some of his most famous paintings are here. In the exhibition area we could see a restorer working on one of the paintings in the museum with panels and screens arranged to learn about the work of restoring works of art. Very instructive.
Great museum!! I went here two times already in one year. Loved the collection!! Worth it
Interactive table for examining old painting, loads of beautiful paintings.
Amazing museum highly recommended, went to see the girl with the pearl ear ring..
My favourite gallery in the Netherlands! So many delightful, historic, and significant pieces.
Great museum! Incredible collection and exciting changing exhibition.
Museum very well organized, friendly staff. You can use an APP in Italian in order to follow the most of all the most important works. Also up shop
Beautiful exhibition good morning with Flemish primitives. Hall discussion of the painting of the resurrection of Christ attended.
15 p. Adult paid, very interesting works, including Rembrandt and Vermeer
Nice museum in a super location, beautiful collection, nice educational Jan Steen exhibition, good restaurant, in short a must!
Calm, quite and peaceful area. Surprised to see the Netherland's prime minister's office and library.
Paintings with great details. I particularly liked the work of Jan Steen.
Hold a museum. Wasn't that interesting to me. Too many portraits.
Was really big pleasure to be there and have ocassion to see all this beautiful paintings.
Beautiful art in a beautiful building. And up to the age of 18 free admission, that is a bonus.
Just ended my visit here and it was amazing. Really nice staff, free audio guide (you do need a phone with play/ apple store to download it yourself) which was not overly informative or boring. I learnt a lot and would definitely recommend!
The museum collection was wonderfully curated! Really enjoyed it, the audio guide was so user friendly :)
Very cool museum!
Great collections, awesome art.
Very well laid out and easy to enjoy,
Beautiful works in this superinterative museum! Everyone in the world should have access to art!
Nice collection well organized and pleasant to visit. No long routes through a maze to see your favorite works
Very complete museum. Has Rubens, Vermeer, among others. Well located.
Everyone should see this, how beautiful those old masters.
Impressive collection Dutch, Flemish and German paintings, mostly from around 1500 -1700. Vermeer, Rembrandt, Potter, Holbein, Jan Steen, Rubens. Very good interior, nice view at the Hofvijver. Clean toilets and nice museum shop. Good accessibility for wheelchairs and buggy's
Nice museum. Lots of old paintings from Dutch masters in a beautiful building.
Attended a charity dinner at this museum. The collection here is mesmerising. A must visit.
In the center of The Hague. Very nice museum. It is covered in one hour. This The Anatomy Lesson and other Rembrandt. Some Vermeer. Safety pin
Beautiful museum in the historic center of The Hague. Located in a very beautiful seventeenth century building. I went to see a special exhibition focusing on Rembrandt's paintings; charming. It is also possible to admire Vermeer's masterpiece "the girl with a pearl earring" permanently on display in this museum. Radio in different languages is also available. The museum is open every day from 10.00 to 20.00.
The splender of seeing the actual paintings of the Dutch Masters
Beautiful museum, with a surprising high-quality collection. Lots to see with some very famous works. Special exhibition about Rogier van der Weyden and the restoration process. Unique location and easily accessible. Good catering. Recommended!
Beautiful paintings from the heyday of Dutch painting.
Beautiful museum with important works from the Golden Age of Dutch masters (Rembrandt, Vermeer, Fabricius etc)
Absolutely worth to visit. Good online voice guide which u can download on the phone.
Beautiful, quiet and uncluttered museum. Beautiful artwork, beautifully presented.
had to go there for school, there is an app that ensures that you get the 10 most famous paintings. The app was not up to date alone. Paintings were in other rooms than indicated.
Without a doubt this is one of the great small museums in the world.
One modest but wonderful museum. The Girl With the Pearl Earring is the big star. But the whole museum experience is remarcable.
