HOLY ORGANIZATION, BATMAN!! I came here for the Fan Expo in August. Having NEVER been to one before, I expected loooong lines, impatient people, and getting lost/disoriented, etc. It was all the opposite. A week before, I had reserved a parking spot at the garage across the street, bought tickets to the Expo, and bought a place in line for a photo opportunity with an actor (Peter Capaldi).

As soon as we got to the Center, we just followed everyone else to the event, got our passes (we went on a Sunday, so maybe that was why it wasn't so crowded?), and made our way to get an autograph. The event organizers and staff were incredible! If you even LOOKED lost/confused, they were there to help you. After getting an autograph, we took a break in the food court (didn't eat anything), and then got in line for the photo op. Even though they were running behind, *everything* was organized. It was almost like waiting for a train. After getting the photo and having it framed, we walked among the exhibitors/shops, bought a couple things, and then went home.

I can't say enough of how painless this event was! What was making me anxious was quickly allayed by an organized venue, helpful staff, and friendly event goers.

The convention center is reasonably clean and uncluttered. I attended recently for PAX East and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The center has a fenced area for food trucks, however it still requires attendees to do security checks on re-entry.

My only complaint would be that it can be difficult fulfilling that checkpoint's requirements while carrying food. The Uber pickup for the center is on a side street near the attached hotel, it can get very cold waiting during the winter.

We went to this venue for PAX. PAAAAAX! Pax is great.

The location driving in is kinda terrible; can't handle high volume traffic, which is very weird, given the capacity of the place.

Parking here is terrible, but it's Boston. Boston is terrible.

Haven't attempted the public transportation, but i Think it's about 1/2 mile walk from South Station, so not super convenient there.

Parking was bad, the lot was full when we got there (not surprising) BUT they were letting people enter to go toward the lot and you didn't find it was full until you waited in line for 20 minutes thinking you'd be able to park to eventually find yourself going through a dirt construction zone and dumped out the back. Thankfully there was a garage there that maybe they were pointing us toward, but there wasn't even a sign that pointed to it saying "overflow parking" or anything. We had actually intended to park in that garage but figured we would see if they had any spots left in the lot first as it's closer and since cars were entering we figured they did.... it would have been much better if the security at the entrance was informing people that the lot was full and we could wait in line to get over to the garage or we could go around which would have been way faster. I actually posted on the comic con Facebook page that parking was full but I don't know if any other con-goers saw it. Needless to say if we go back, we will just park elsewhere unless we are super early.
It was a huuuuuuuuuuge improvement over the last location for Comic Con!!!! We didn't have to wait in line next to dumpsters!!! (So gross. I would not have returned to comic con had they not moved location.)

When we returned from our cruise. They made us go outside in 28 degree weather. Our ride wasn't due to arrive for at least 3/4 of an hour. Everyone was outside freezing. No one cared that worked there. I asked the cop why we had to stand in 28 degree temperature, and he said he had another 1500 people due in an hour and half. Explain to me the difference between people at the back wall out of the way, and everyone outside the building. Plus we were at the A gate. They loaded the ship at gate C which is quite aways from where we where. Plus they didn't care if you were disabled in a wheelchair. I have nothing good to say about these people

I went to a plastic sugery conference here. There were adequate lecture halls and spaces for all of the speakers/events. The main room was plenty big enough to accommodate all of the exhibits. Facility is clean. Loved the free shuttle bus from the parking lot.

I've attended the Massachusetts' Women's Conference two years in a row. This place is large and accommodating. I've enjoyed both experiences. It can be difficult to enter and exit the exhibition center when there's a large crowd moving from place to place on the same schedule. A line at the stairs and escalators can get really long!

I'm here every year for PAX East and I am glad this convention center exists and they have made a long term commitment to be here. This is a great location even for an event that has a ton of people and a lot going on. The Expo hall, meeting rooms, walkways and other areas are all well kept and set up.

Attended the Seafood Convention and the facility is impressive and hosts hundreds of vendor booths, and intended for thousands of visitors. There are restrictions/limitations, such as shared and limited power outlets. Bathroom facilities are not kept up with peak traffic, so be careful especially if they are serving food.

Attended 2017 Biomed Device, Embedded System Conference. Well run show, attentive staff. Both from the conference center and the show. Only complaint is the traffic. Getting to and out of the BCEC is painful.

Their baggage check is completely understaffed. I arrived early and still waited 45 minutes because they only had one person to check bags in. I missed a significant portion of the first session of the day for a conference I was attending. It was incredibly frustrating.

Clean, bright and exciting.
Found new stuff for the Christmas season. Although it is an annual event, it was a first time for me and I'll be back with others.
Exciting and fun.

Although parking isn't the best there and even entrances could look like a maze but it is pretty well organized and you can find plenty of information booths to get you around to whatever you are searching for.

My advice is using Uber or Lyft to go to the place instead of using your own car because parking wasn't easy from what I saw

Great place for events. I went for a Christmas event they had all kinds of characters food games rides Blue Man Group was there. They even had little boots that up for changing areas because the bathrooms weren't very big there was only one family bathroom so the lines got long. But if you're just changing your child the booths were there. Very nice atmosphere for a child's party. They gave gifts at the end. Got to meet with Santa Disney princesses, Darth Vader, Gru. Was just a very fun time

Venue is very nice however the food is absolutely ridiculos in price ,talk about taking advantage of people I feel bad for people with children who want to have something to eat. My advice to you is eat before you go. Parking was actually cheaper than food.

I went here for a DIA convention.I really liked the building. Everything was very clean, even the bathrooms had antimicrobial mats across the floor. Getting to some of the rooms was confusing though. Some of the room are on the other side of the building. I actually had to ask for direction to find one of the higher number rooms. The center of this building is a big expo floor itself where tons of companies come to sell their products. Most people just came for the freebies.

Conference rooms itself are very sound proof.

Some people complained that the convention center was too cold but I thought it was fine. Bring a sweater if you are one of those people who gets cold easily. Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be walking a lot. This place is huge.

Food: forget about it. Unless you work for a company that gives you a line of credit to use, bring your own. It is unbelievably expensive. Think $4 for a bottle of water.

Medium size convention center. Modern, safe, good lighting. Location is in Seaport area of Boston served by the oddball MBTA Silver Line. Very easy access from the airport. Excellent restaurants nearby, large variety of food types with high quality.

I've been to convention centers around the country and the BCEC is one of the nicest. The issue is they have no real convenient pickup area for rideshare and want you to walk essentially 2 blocks away on D St for pickup. The food court options during conventions is also rather disappointing and overpriced.
