Large conference centre, liked the walkways on the 2 nd floor to get from side to other, over exhibition hall, sand long walk around the building. Convenient for public transport and hotels. Good restaurants short distance away on seaport area

Parking shuttle was not for the show we were at. I noticed one person had to go a considerable distance on crutches to get in. Several doors were locked and blocked requiring more walking.

PAX East.
There's a reason why you have to get tickets way in advance

Great venue!

Great venue!
Staff were very helpful from the loading dock to inside!

I've attended the HubSpot inbound conference here every year for the past 5 years. I still marvel at the sheer size of the facility. I tell every first-time attendee to bring really comfortable shoes. One area where I think BCEC could improve: bathroom cleanliness. I totally get that when a conference has 24,000 attendees, it is logistically very difficult to keep the facility immaculate. I also feel like the food and beverage pricing within the convention center borders on predatory. But then again I know Boston is just a really expensive city for cost of living.

This place is HUGE. It has been hosting PAX East for the last two years, and it is a very good location for that venue. I am disappointed by the variety of food surrounding this location, however, as the food inside the convention center is overpriced. Sodas or water cost 3.50. Food items cost anywhere from 5-10 dollars and are generally small portions.

This is for PAX East. I haven't been here in years and partially remember why. Getting in took forever especially when getting there early. Line management was non-existent and annoying. The displays and advertisements with interesting to see but it didnt feel like as many major titles and studios were present BUT the indie games were great. A whole section on Facebook gaming was interesting since I wouldn't register with them if I was about to die.

Too many people who want to be Instagram famous(or every other platform famous) roaming around with their cameras block the walking paths was beyond annoying. Though some of them seemed to be interested in the convention and not just their face in the camera.

The cosplayers were good though. Lots of nice work put into outfits and obviously some people who threw some PJs on and called it artwork.

Overall 3 stars for multiple reasons. It's not all the events fault for some shortcomings but the spirit of the event didnt feel right. Also the side missions of the teams was nice except for the fact a couple had a line so long it was crazy just to tap your badge. If you are going one day is not recommended as you will not enjoy everything and will have to choose.

One of the better convention venues I've been to, just make sure you eat before you come or be prepared to get raked over the coals. Some of the prices make ball parks and movie theaters look like bargains. $5 for a soft pretzel is insane, $12 for mac and cheese appalling, and it just gets worse from there.

Beautiful architectural design, well-placed interior perfect for big meetings and conventions. Located just off of the city center within walking distance to hotels. A great venue in an even greater city.

A well laid out and very functional convention center. I've been here for both work and fun conferences. They are well organized and clean. Getting there can be a bit of a nightmare at times because of the layout of the surrounding streets and intersections, plus a lot of the construction going on. Food is overpriced and options can be somewhat limited.

Freaking huge. I went here for PAX East, and it was packed. However the venue is so huge there was plenty of room for everyone.
The main exhibition hall was so enormous, I still can't believe it- I got a little lost more than once, and I generally have a good sense of direction.
The food was very expensive but good, at least at the pizza place I went to. The restrooms were pretty well taken care of, especially considering the tens of thousands of people there for PAX.

If you ve been to the Jacob Javits Center and enjoyed it, you will love the Boston Convention Center. I was there for the annual PAX Convention for gamers and was like a kid in a candy store. Very big, clean and safe environment.

This convention center really brings our city up to speed. Located adjacent from the seaport district and next to lawn on D. It's a spacious, beautiful place for all kinds of conventions.

Enormous convention center with facilities for any event I can imagine. Excellent home for PAX East. The food inside could be a bit better, bit plenty of choices around town make up for that.
