Pricey and average food. The service was excellent however.

Fantastico Just had the best Italian meal ever. Would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant even if you aren't a pasta lover as my hub would attest.
We chose from the specials board I had the John Dory my hub the Tuna perfectly cooked. The wine as recommended was perfect with our dishes as was the desert banoffee pie. The staff and service were friendly, welcoming and we were made to feel like regulars. Grazie Mille.

I wasn't happy at all with my food. It was tasteless. Not sure why people likes it so much!

Easily one of the best restaurants in Bath, the staff are very friendly and funny too. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Be aware it closes weekday afternoons from 2pm and re-opens from 6pm (open all day Saturday).

Amazing service, staff were welcoming and organised. Quick to respond to queries and requests. Pretty good pricing too which was great. Food was exquisite. Will definitely be returning

Absolutely beautiful experience.

My boyfriend and I arrived in Bath from Canada and our first night were walking to find dinner and the smell of delicious food guided us to Martini's doorway.

The staff was friendly and lovely. They made the experience all the better.

I can't even describe how flavourful my food was and my boyfriend's was somehow just as perfect.

Would recommend to anyone wanting great dining in Bath.

A most visit if you Fancy Italian and need a place to chill with fantastic service

Been to bath twice and both times I've eaten here. The first based of reviews, the second because I just had to go back. Staff are great, interior is pretty and lively. Menu is great and the restaurant feels very authentic. My only flaw is there is very very limited vegetarian options and no vegan options. Despite this upon request the chef did prepare an off menu vegan dish for my brother which was a nice gesture

Our small group of 4 people were thoroughly entertained by the exhuberant staff and well fed by the imaginative kitchen. We shall return. Thanks.

Ate here with some colleagues. Had mozzarella and parma ham starter, chicken and mushrooms for main and chocolate mouse for desert. A few glasses of Primativo to accompany. All good was great, tasty, good portions, pleasantly presented. Venue a nice. Staff are friendly.

Being a Monday night we were able to book earlier the same day and get a table without any difficulty, though as the evening went on the restaurant did fill up.

Once again our food and service was superb. my veal main course with mushroom sauce was delicious and Clare's lasagne looked equally good. We were also treated to jokes, singing and wonderful warmth and friendliness from our waiters.

Not the cheapest restaurant in Bath but certainly worth the money.

Really good quality of food. Cheerful and open staff members, really welcoming, funny, chatty and kind :) If U like Italian spirit and their way of being U should certainly visit this place.

Very good properly Italian food from people who know what they are doing. Happily bustling atmosphere. There are better value Italians but hey, this is central Bath.

For the price, not very good. Veal was very tough, sauce had very little flavor. Brother's meatballs had bone and gristle. Starters, however, were good. Recommend going somewhere else for this price point.

Great place to eat with an outstanding atmosphere. We were treated to a 'concert' played by staff and one of the guests (been told it was the owner) had great night and lots of smiles. Food was good perhaps little on the pricy side but worth of visit

We visited this restaurant on Friday 23rd October. The restaurant was booming when we came in, which is a good sign. We were promptly shown to our table and asked if we would like any water/drinks. There was a good selection of drinks on the menu.

The menu had plenty of choice... We opted for Starters of Calamari and Arancini with a basket of bread. Very tasty - good portions too!

For the mains we had lasagne, Salami Calzone and two sides of fries. Again, very good portion size and extremely well cooked.

By Dessert we were stuffed! There was however a little bit of room for Tiramisu.

Overall the restaurant was clean, table service was slick and the food was top quality... What more can you ask for? Full marks Martini and thank you a brilliant meal.

As for the food, I can say that I ate well without any particular exaltation. Four stars are not five, but they are an excellent rating in any case.

I was looking for a place in Bath to celebrate my fathers 80th Birthday with all the family (11 of us!). I looked on the web and found Martinis. We we not disappointed with our choice. The staff were fantastic, I received a call 2 days before our visit confirming the booking.

The food is excellent one of the best I've been to. The waiters and staff faultless. And the singing of Happy Birthday one of the best we've heard.
Price was very good also

A lovely Italian restaurant...full of Italians and their wonderful vibrance and chaos...noisy busy...and a little bit of authentic Italian amongst the butter coloured stones of beautiful Bath...I wonder If the Romans were like these busy, smiling people...They seem to all speak with a strong regional accent far to much for my school boy Italian...we enjoyed ourselves..the food was great the service was great...and great warmth of Italian civilisation wrapped us in her arms...and kissed us...it was great..

We'd researched before coming to Bath for our wedding anniversary and chose Martinis due to the positive comments on the service and food. We were not disappointed. A tasteful and attractive restaurant with staff who were friendly and attentive without being invasive. We enjoyed our meal immensely and managed room for dessert and a liquor coffee.... Just. Martinis helped to make our anniversary very special. Thank you.

Food was delicious - in particular the Parma wrapped mozzarella starter and the veal filled cannelloni pasta. Superb. Our waiter knew what he was doing, he was pleasant throughout, recommended food and wine and to top it all he decanted our wine ahead of the main course - attention to detail we were not expecting! I wish I could give it a 4.5 - because it's just short of making me feel like I'm in Italy again.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants. It's not expensive. It's not cheap. It's just good food in a typical Italian restaurant (i.e. a typical Italian in Italy, from the non touristy ones I've beento there).
I've not been with anyone who didn't like it. But I can imagine people may want it to be "posher" or something, but you'd loose the character.

Middling, but acceptable quality Italian food with a menu that hasn't changed in years. The venue could do with a spruce.

Great food and very friendly service. This restaurant has been consistently good for many years. I especially recommend the salted caramel panacotta.

Friendly staff shuffled two of us in with now warning. Served me one of the best espresso martini's I've ever had followed by delicious prawns and tender monkfish. Don't even get me started on the lemon tart. Fantastic place. Cannot recommend it enough

Food a bit disappointing if I'm honest, e.g cream and white wine sauce accompanying the smallish veal cutlets was mainly cream and a grilled sea bass arrived seriously undercooked ( the did however provide a replacement with no hesitation and sincere apologies !) Very friendly and efficient staff and good, albeit noisy, ambience

The food is excellent, although when they are busy the service can suffer a little. This didn't seem to affect the quality of the food which was good. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Waitress was great and food nice. But it was so fast. Main course arrived before nibbles finished and we were done and out in three-quarters of an hour. It would have been nice to have lingered - maybe even as long as an hour

Me & my partner were on holiday in Bath for our anniversary and we picked this restaurant out of a few options.
We were so blown away by their amazing service, food and cocktails that we literally went back a second time (in 2 days!) First time was a 3 course meal second time we tried the lunch deal which was great value!
Honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been too I would no hesitate to make regular trips just to go again :) thank you for giving us such an amazing experience!

A gluten free and dairy allergy diet is always tricky, especially at Italian restaurants...I asked the friendly waiters and they said yes, no problem they have gluten free pasta. Great start.
I also asked if I could charge my phone. Again.. 'No problem sir...' came the answer. Service like this needs to be broadcasted through reviews.

Next, the layout. Really good. Authentic feel, rustic. Great ambiance. Etc..

Finally the food, Wow. I had cured Swordfish for starter, which was delicious, then crab and spring onion pasta. Again amazing. Both were so well balanced. My waiter knew what I could or couldn't eat without hesitation. Very good indeed.

I would go back to this place every night if I could. Good work Martini! I'll be back.

You really can not eat. Gummy dumplings with "raw" sauce with not properly cleaned seafood and octopus that looked like an unidentified jelly mass. Of course frozen calamari and high price for bad food.

We found this gem by accident, on a weekend away in Bath. Service was excellent. Staff very friendly. Food was excellent. The panna cotta delicious. If you love Italian eat here!
