It's a good place to stop, remember, relate, and hope. Being here has helped me to want to find my voice rather than just what's popular.
Was able to visit here while attending a conference. I was lucky to find a spot on the original birth house tour. The stories from the park ranger were informative and entertaining. Only 16 max per tour so you are able to take a lot in. A must see for anyone in the Atlanta area for business or travel.
Beautiful campus but harrassed by way to many homeless people.
Can I say, a guy who r not interested in history stuff will rate it 3 stars. I know MLK's great but despite its memorial function I found this place extremely boring.
If you're ever near Atlanta this place is a must see. It was an amazing feeling to see, walk & touch a piece of history. Don't forget about the house around the corner from the museum.
Very informative guides. A look into a great man's life.
A memorable history,
A place worth going,
And it's free.
Had family visiting from Norfolk Virginia they really enjoy the King Center
It felt amazing, seeing in person, historical sites tied to Dr. Martin Luther King. The Love was palpable. Definitely make time to experience this treasure.
A nice memorial with great views. I parked by Jefferson and walked to FDR, MLK then walked back to car.
The History and feel is so alive. Makes you appreciate where we came from as a Nation. Unity, Equality, Love, Peace, and Righteousness. We should all stive to be as great as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr..
Nice historical place to visit. Parking can be an issue but it was very educational
Lots of history, lots of nice people. For whatever reason I couldn't easily find a parking lot but nonetheless it was a great experience. The museum was great, fountain and tomb were beautiful. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a historical destination.
Wonderful place to take the kids and learn some much needed history.
Historical edifice. In great shape. Properly maintained and history preserved
A very good museum. His boyhood home is very interesting and important place to see.
It was a wonderful experience. Not to sound corny, but just to be in some of the places MLK once frequented etc makes you want to be a better person. Little corny, but that's how I felt lol.
To do to share the unique story in Atlanta that has advanced human rights ... moment of unforgettable emotions!
It is a beautiful place to be and to see. It is an awesome experience to be a part of.
Very interesting if you're currently not so familiar with the black history and the civil rights movement. Shows a lot of historic stuff combined with pictures and films. You can visit the different historic spots of Martin Luther King Jr. Although it's still located in the poorer area of Atlanta, it's a very safe separated place to be. If you have the time, take the tour at his birth place.
This museum brought back a lot of my childhood memories. It reminded me of the struggles of the. Freedom Riders and how social change can work for the good of people. Great videos and film clips. Relive the experiences of the Civil Rights leaders. Learn about politicians who were leaders and those that obstructed social justice. Learn what hatred and bigotry are and how they hurt us as a people. Great place.
Beautiful experience and insight into the life of MLK.
So much great history documented in this area. I loved seeing the many people of all races paying respect to this great American hero.
We visited here last year on the trip to Georgia this was a great place to visit i highly recommend all to visit here great for the hole family. We had a great time lot to see this was a very good historical place to see we all liked it.
Beautiful energy ive always heard about this but never seen it before until last night #PiKaHsSo #Verbadelyck
Great educational visit, just be aware that it can get crowded and hard at times to enjoy the exhibits due to the crowds.
My family and I come here at least once a year, and it is always an amazing places.
My Mom and dad took me to the museum in Atl a few years ago And was Telling me a lot about Mr King
Handicapped accessible. Even his house has an elevator.
Great recount of history and the Civil rights movement
Pricing varies depending on the time you get there, and maybe even the date, but it seems to range between $30-$40 for an adult. It's also included in the CityPass which is $76 for adult. First, you take pictures in front of a green screen available for purchase later. Then you enter the aquarium's central hub area which has offshoots to the various exhibits. The map we were given didn't include show times, so I referenced the website for the schedule.
I stopped by here with my daughter while on vacation and I was a great experience. We learned so much about Mlk this museum has been well taken care of
Elegant---and when you hear the words of Martin Luther King while viewing the exibits---eloquent...
Great experience for me and my wife. Our sons were especially moved from the rich history about this great man of God.
Love the history lesson you get from this place very historical and beautiful I love the Old Fourth Ward
Living history. Legacy of Martim Luther King Jr. Great for anyone who wants to know more about the life and legacy of this great man.
Very touching and moving. The brief(15 mins) video that was screened inside the visitor center is a must see.
This was my first time at Dr. King's Memorial. I had the same feelings that I experienced at the African American museum. Amazing how the sacrifices of yesterday, paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Very educational and historical. Great tourist attraction and large. The monuments and buildings were amazing and lively.
Heartwarming. Sorrow. Joy. Pain. Happiness. Disgust. Inspired.
I love the Martin Luther Museum, I felt very fortunate to step on the ground where Dr king and the others create so many memories
We've come far, but has a lot more to do.
It was good just went in the evening when things were closed
Really glad to visit, such an important part of history.
