Great hotel, excellent room service, nice facilities, and a reasonable value I would recommend it

Was a amazing hotel they had a very nice spa and pool they even upgraded us for free and gave me a early check in all in all was very impressed

The hotel is good! Near a beautiful coral reef. The food is excellent, but they categorically do not allow us to take out even a baby booth. The territory is large, clean. At the bar in the lobby (it works the longest until 23:30) the bartender wizard, if you give him $ 10, the cocktails will be great for the rest of your stay. Weak animation, but for me - this is rather a plus than a minus)) In general, we were satisfied)

I have just spent 14 days at your hotel and I enjoyd them all. A reason for this was your employees. They all were very helpful and kind. Especially the two men in the lobby bar I and other guests who I talked to experienced as very professional. For them no problems existed. Thanks to them I spent every evening in their bar, before dinner as well as after. This was the fifth time I visited Sharm El Sheik. If I will come back I definite will stay at tour hotel.

Very bad and rude crew...Un professional. Security manger and Un polit. Very bad talking language specialy to egyptians ...The food is so bad ana no variety ana the mean pool is dirty . I regret for booking there.

Egyptian cleaners sweep the ground and sand under the curb. The room is dead, the furniture, the walls, the doors ... Don't use water to brush your teeth, because the water smells like chlorine. The door creaks, the handles are mostly dead. Plasma is low, little light, little socket and old. When we entered the room we saw that a woman used a bathrobe to wipe her period !!! Replaced it with a robe that stepped on the belt :)
Egyptians mostly (most, but not all) speak bad English and Russian
The beach is thin and you can swim only from one and only pontoon !! That is about 2,500 people have one pontoon to swim ... No service on the beach ..
And what are these 5 stars after that ?? :) Maximum 3!

But the area is generally beautiful, the pools are good (although the tiles are already moldy). The main building is cool, the gym is normal, the kitchen is generally delicious. I liked the Russian-speaking woman, she always smiles and can solve all questions! In contrast, the Egyptians, for the most part, treat you like kings to the inhabitants of their kingdom.

Rested from 9/11/2018-18.11.2018 family. Settled for about an hour, gave at our request 2 rooms nearby. Rooms: a little tired, but not in a critical condition. Food: food quality is normal, the range of dishes is not great, but everything is delicious. Even the soups my child ate occasionally)))). There was always 2-3 vila meat, 1 type of fish, periodically seafood (a vat with a saute of squid, crabs and mussels). Delicious packaged juices, not yuppi !!!! From what was not pleasant: there are no paper napkins and toothpicks on the tables. And a strange system with lunch when eviction !!!!! If you dined on the day of arrival, on the day of departure, dinner at the main restaurant for $ 10 per person. As for me, it is a gossip! A good bar Calamari is not far from the beach, there is bottled beer Sahara. Nice wooden pontoon. Sunset from the shore, there is only a leg to help. Sun beds all lacked. The hotel has a security system at the entrance. If you find fault, you can say about what strained: a couple of times in the room (and not only mine) the alarm system screamed in the mornings and 2 days there were interruptions with television, but before that there was a letter in the door saying that they were reinstalling these failures are possible.

Very nice place to stay. Excellent WiFi which we were dearly waiting in Egypt. The road to this place is little scary but well guarded..had a lot of checking at toll gate if you are coming from Cairo but the hotel was worth the wait. Has a private beach for scuba and all. Garden is well maintained.. staff is very cordial. Breakfast is also available.

Quiet and intimate place, the staff is very courteous and helpful, the price is in line with the hotels here in sharm. The 3-star rating comes from the fact that it disappoints some particulates that you don't expect from a 5-star hotel like the wear of the bedrooms and the bathroom, the jetty for access to the broken and unusable reef and the wear that can also be seen on the main pool. In general, however, a good hotel.

Wery nice hotel. Clean rooms and frendly employees. Noisy main pool area in the days, but other pools are nice and quite.

We were with ten people of 14-50 years for a week in June 2017 in the hotel. Immediately after arrival we were given a cold towel to relax. We felt very comfortable and we can only recommend the hotel. Since we had booked 5 double rooms, we asked before from our rooms should not be so far apart. As there were not so many guests in the hotel during this time, we had 3 suites and 2 double rooms "brilliant" right next to each other. The rooms are very large and attractive. Also about the cleanliness of the rooms and the whole area was very nice, nothing to complain about. The choice of food was at breakfast, lunch or dinner very rich and extremely delicious. Everyone finds something and also connoisseurs are spoiled. The staff was very attentive and friendly despite Ramadan. The hotel's own house reef is very nice and invites you to snorkel. More practiced swimmers can snorkel right around the headland around Ras Umm Sid and experience a fantastic underwater world (please unsubscribe from the beach team, otherwise they'll be worried). Right next to the complex is the el fanar beach, here the somewhat inexperienced swimmers for an entrance of 3.50 / pers. enjoy the fantastic biodiversity. We were in the water for several hours every day and there was always something new to discover. Thanks to our beach team Mohammed and Gehad who always had friendly, approachable and close watch on the water or on land. Especially Gehad was for our well-being endeavors and kept the area very clean. Generally the staff was very attentive and friendly. The security in this hotel is capitalized. In the Eingangs.- or beach area security personnel are present day and night. We had a wonderful holiday, were very relaxed and relaxed. The Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort can be recommended without hesitation and we will be back.

The place looks prestigious and it's on expensive side. However the design of the resort isn't good to move from place to another easily. All kind of cocktails are bad mixed. Animation team members only care to invite the guests to night club out side the resort to get benefit from the commission.

Been twice. Great food and service. Big hotel with full of gardens and pools. Miss this place and will stay again at this hotel.

Every year and all the Arab nation and Islam is okay every year and you are good

Nice hotel both inside and out, very nice surroundings. There may be slight wear and tear. Good service and smiling staff however a smuggle too approachable. The hotel is good if you want peace and quiet as not many activities are offered both day and night. Some beach chairs are broken and you can suddenly fall backwards, and the furniture on the balcony was old and worn, which you got a little nail in the thigh every now and then.
There was no option to withdraw money at the vending machine it never worked. However, there are plenty of options close by towards el macarto.
The food is monotonous no different from other hotels in my experience. There's what it's supposed to be.
Security is top notch, seen from other hotels we passed. If you take a taxi in front of the hotel, the guards took the number of the taxi. I recommend taking a taxi, not taking those staying at the hotel ,. Bargain hard, 20 pounds for el macarto (20 min walk) 40/50 pounds for nammabay and oldmarket. There is a beautiful coral reef on the beach it can be recommended to snorkel.
Renaissance meets the requirements required to achieve status as a 4-5 star hotel with 2 pools, restaurant etc. But the experience as a customer is worth a 3 star visit, it must be said that everything is in Egyptian time and place, so it does not always go so fast.

Don't stay here!! Our rooms were filthy, the restaurants were over subscribed and chaotic, the food was terrible, the staff were incompetent. No wifi anywhere except for the lobby and even then impossible to connect. Not good if you have young children because there are so many steps between rooms and main building . Never staying here again. How they got 5 star rating is completely beyond me

Staff members are very nice and so kind .. View is beautiful .. Service is very good ... Comparing to beautiful view and very good service Price is very low .. From my point of view it is the optimum choice ;)

This is bit long review of the Marriott Renaissance hotel Sharm el sheik, but the kind of review that we would have liked to have. Our reviews is based on comparing this hotel to the Steigenberger in Hurghada and Hilton waterfall in Sharm both 5 star hotels that we award 5 stars in liking.'

Overall we do not find that Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort deserves 5 stars, but offers more of a 4 star hotel experience. But it is certainly a hotel worth staying on if you get a good price. See below.

3 stars. All inclusive is not all inclusive. We find that when you have paid for all inclusive this is not worthy of a five star hotel to charge you extra if you wants a children's menu on the a la card restaurants that is included in the prices. That you have to pay extra if you want a French fries at the restaurant at the beach and pool. That you have to pay extra if you would like to have grilled fish. That your children can only have ice cream from 12 to 16 in the afternoon or pay extra. That you have to pay extra for the good ice cream. That you have to pay extra if you want an espresso coffee and we could go on. When you buy all inclusive you have bought access all standard wining and dining and you should not sit back with the feeling that you are a second rank guest, or you should feel like someone that the hotel expect to earn a lot more on the customers that already feel they have paid for all inclusive.
We are fully aware that you probably could have read about all these limitations somewhere, but in reality don't when booking a holiday via a travel agent. Hence this concept does not live up to expectations. We are also fully aware that some customers does not buy all inclusive and the hotel should serve them, but it does however still add up to the same result.

5 stars. Animation team and guest activities. Well motivated team. Many activities. To us it does however seem like the teams should be given fewer tasks so that we avoid situations where the guests has to give back the volleyball more or less in the middle of a game because the staff has to rush to the next activity. The best animation team that we ever have experienced.

5 stars. Position of the hotel. The area is good and you can go and visit the shops where you can buy copy cloth and diving masked etc. when negotiating, you should at least divide the asking price by 3. Never buy at the first store.
Hotel placed with access to beautiful reef and smaller beaches for children.

4 stars. Rooms that we had was large and well equipped. However the interior of the room was battered. Cleaning of the room was not ok. A lot of dirt under the bed and staff failed to remember new toilet paper etc.





2 stars. Wifi in reception runs slow - if you can get on in the first place. As good internet access is one of the primary buying criteria for european tourists - this also indicates lack af basic customer experience knowledge.

Our conclusion is that it is a well driven hotel, however driven by leading staff which could learn a lot about how to du customer experience management western style. Remember to bring a fly swatter, own volleyball and mosquito repellent.

This was our first hotel in Sharm. Loved everything except wind and waves. Choose a closed bay, because only there you can count on a calm sea, for which you actually go to Charm
