Terrible Terrible Hotel. They Have BED BUGS!!. Checked in for all of 20 minutes saw bedbugs informed the staff and all they offered to do was move me to a room right next door!! I mean if theres bed bugs in one room of course theres a huge chance that the rooms beside could possibly have them also!!! I mean commin sense. I'm guessing they were already aware of the bed bugs and really just didnt care. Ending result, I checked right out.
I can't believe this qualifies and a Marriott property still. Old, outdated, unkept, poor staff, with doors that exit outside.
not a bad hotel. kinda nice being attached to a great bar/restaurant. hotel staff were kind but sloppy. was told dinner was provided tues and wed, but the cook didnt show up for work. rooms are nice and well kept. clean and simple. not enough elevators, so walking up stairs is a must.
My stay was beautiful the complimentary breakfast was good and their house service was excellent
Ok room but really good service in a good location in Dedham right next to the Mall (Legacy Place). Decent breakfast and some snacks to nibble on in the evening. There s a sports bar on site with some of the best burgers you ll ever have. It s about 5 mins from train station so commuting to Boston is a breeze.
I love the folks who work here. The chaps at front desk are some of the best folks I ve met and I ve been places.
BED BUGS! Vacated hotel at 1am after finding bed bugs in our room. Night manager was apologetic and comped out night, but didn't seem as shocked as we were. Disgusting.
Was in a separate building that was under construction. Had a very motel feel to it. The room itself was nice, but the exterior and main building were more typical of a motel 6. The wifi was unbearably slow, and often times webpages wouldn't even load. There was a parking lot lamp right by the building, and the shades let in enough light to keep me up. Lots of little things that made this stay bad. Small stains on the curtians (blood?), no channel guide by the remote, breakfast was disgusting, limited parking with needless parking passes, no vending machines, etc. Room was nicer than expected, but every other aspect was below average. For the record, I spend 8 weeks per year in hotel rooms for work and I have paid much less for much better rooms in Boston.
Needs updating drastically! Its like from the late 80s old looking. I can hear someone snore in the next room if that tells you anything.
Great staff. They are renewing the hotel. I would put people there again.
Like another person here said, Marrott should be ashamed of this place. I can hear the people next door sneeze and floors above me squeak when occupants walk. Only wall switch is 10 ft from the door and it turns on the bathroom light. The room and the whole property smells of mildew.
$59 per night is what this level of hotel gets elsewhere. Never again!
The rooms were clean. My family booked a 2-bed room because we are a 4. The beds were full size beds so kind of tiny but still comfortable and clean and for a 1-night stay it was fine. The bathroom was very small. The door barely misses the toilet when you are walking in to shower. Becausr the hotel was clean i give it 2 stars. However, the front desk employee Rani, in the morning of checkout was very very rude and not helpful. Both my parents have been Marriott employees for 25 years and you'd think as another Marriott employee she would have treated them nicer. But, i guess for Rani theres no such thing as a Marriott Family.
Room was very lovely, everything you would expect, breakfast was free and small, but they did have a waffle maker!
The place is going through much needed renovations. Funky layout. The staff is really wonderful and helpful. They do free taco Tuesdays and pizza Wednesdays. Nice little pool. The breakfast was decent, especially for free. There's an attached restaurant that looks good.
Watch ur credit cards for fraudulent charges from dedham fairfeild inn,, u will be charged for dates after ur check out
My family and I had a great stay. The place was spotless clean, organized, great customer service. Definitely recommend

Friendly hotel staff at check in, even got a bottle of water andy rail mix bag at check-in. Very basic accommodations as far as a Marriott is concerned but definitely adequate for my stay and well worth the money.
The customer service was great even with arriving in the middle of the night. However, the visual experience was marred by the construction and renovation. We also had a couple of minor things wrong with the room. Once the renovations are complete, this should be a very nice hotel.
Shower would not drain. Fan rattled in bathroom. Ran out of some breakfast stuff. Someone's hair on the pillow. A bug crawling around room. I deserve a refund.
Not sure why other are not happy here, but the staff was great and the room was clean Breakfast was well stocked even with 30-40 people eating they never ran out of food. Heck even the head of maintenance was helping out behind the desk to help customers get out on the road
The location is fine if you don't care about a nice view and just need a bed. The staff are nice and courteous, but the free breakfast is at best an average offering. There is a sports bar directly next to the hotel with good food and lots of parking, probably the best bet for a meal close by. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the bathrooms are small and awkward. There are plenty of outlets properly located in the room, and a TV.
Very nice and clean with very friendly service. They allowed me to check in early which really appreciated after a 4.5 hour road trip and 3 hours sleep the night before the trip The continental breakfast had a good selection with several healthy options. They had yougurt and not the cheap kind, but Chobani.There's enough parking which is always nice.

I have stayed at so many different Marriott hotels and my experience has been generally good overall, but this stay has to be worst of all. I booked an Executive one bedroom with king size bed and sofa bed with a maximum occupancy of 5. First of all the behavior of the receptionist was gross, my room had one allowed roll-away bed and she said no upfront, which of course she was lying. She ultimately did not provide us with any roll-away bed. Even in the room, the bathroom had some rust and the sofa bed was not at all durable even for one person.
My experience here was great this was my second time here with my husband and we really enjoyed ourselves here as we did the first time
Old and under construction. Had to drive from lobby to the building my room was in after I already parked my car and pulled my luggage out. Nice and helpful front desk staff.
Good value. Free parking, hot breakfast and afternoon snacks. Seasonal/Outdoor pool was very nice. Great restuarant/pub attached with lots of seating and arcade games, large variety of draft beer! Location is far if planning to visit the city, about an hour+ by train and/or car.
Comfy bed and spacious room. Excellent breakfast, although only eggs, bacon and waffles for hot food options. Bathroom was a little tight.
The room6was on the third floor but elevator were convenient. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was great. Great place to stay.
VERY small toilet/shower bathroom. This is NOT the usual Fairfield construction but a remodel of a Holiday Inn. 150 rooms, limited breakfast food/seating when fully occupied.

Average hotel, average staff, average food, they put a regular sheet in my son's crib (huge hazard), and din't clean the room one day... Don't plan to ever return there
The staff was nice enough but the hotel is old, dated and not up to Fairfield standards. For the price, stay at the new Courtyard in Dedham.
Nothing special but rooms were clean and location is convenient.
It was very good I got a free breakfast and my room had a very good sized TV in it.
Front desk is helpful, and the rooms are well stocked to accommodate all overnight needs.
The comfort, hospitality and food (breakfast) were excellent. The only sore spot was bugs in the room which damaged some of our clothes. We complained but didn't get adequate response.

Water damaged rooms smelled musty and had visible mold. Rooms were not cleaned, and when we requested them to be cleaned, the management didn't have anyone on staff to do it. Poor management, unhappy employees arguing in the lobby in front of guests.
It was an older hotel with a acrid smell in the room. The attached resurant was very expensive for the food they served, other than that not bad

Kelli Moon was extremely helpful at the front desk, as we had to book a last minute stay for my brother in law. Lobby was under renovations, but seemed clean. Hotel room seemed nice and clean as well.

Terrible experience! Worse stay ever! Low level, smelly, durty hotel with careless staff. Will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone! Stay away from it! It's not the Marriott style and service!!

Disconcerting to be told that they don't clean everyday, in these COVID-19 times. Travel with your own supplies to wipe down the area.
I chose this hotel because I needed to be in Boston for work and it was so much cheaper than anything closer. The building is old and while they have done their best to put on fresh paint, carpet, and furniture, the age shows through. However the sheets were fresh and the staff were attentive. Given the price...I may come back
An ideal place to stay for one night. The team is nice and nice. The only worry is that we were the room above their laundry room and the night we hear when he closed or opened the doors of their dryers, etc.
OK for a night. Everything appears nice but is a little more worn than some of the other Marriott brands. Room looked and smelled clean, so that's really all I can ask for. Breakfast was very good. Some continental and hot eggs/sausage.
