Nice stay! Beds weren t as comfortable as I had hoped, but they were plush. Bathroom was pretty small, but the shower head options were a nice touch! Having to travel to different floors and walk across a bridge way to access a room was a bit much while toting bags and dinner. Nice area...close to main attractions. Parking is expensive at $18-25/night. Staff was really nice and helpful. The night views were beautiful!

Here for a work event. The staff was wonderful given the huge influx of people. The signage was clear and concise, the event halls well stocked, staffed and overall well prepared for the sessions.

I used the lobby and a party suite during the Worldcon. The lobby felt spacious even when crowded, and the suite on the 20th floor was more than large enough for a pack of aging authors. The hot tub looked inviting, but it wasn't that kind of party.

The only thing I like about this place is the main lobby. Was put in the old building across the street which is nowhere near as nice as main building. The rooms are outdated, furniture scratched and no convenient outlets for charging phone. Had to get an extension cord and run it through the back of the bed.

I am currently staying at the Kansas City, Missouri downtown Marriott, and I am very disappointed! With the name Marriott I would expect a nice clean room, comfortable bed, and great service, all of which I have not had and unfortunately am still here due to this being a business trip! All 6 of my co-workers are at the newer part and I am in the main tower where construction is going on. My bed is horrible and has been torn and a lousy sewing job has been done on it, along with being able to see through the white part of the mattress because it's so old and hurts my back. When I first got here I tried to call down to the front desk because my in room safe was locked so I could not use it and I was never able to reach anyone, had to go to the front desk the following morning, and while trying to call there was a blond hair on the phone and another one on my night table and I am no where near blonde!!! Also floor had not been vacuumed and it was very obvious, this was Sunday and it was not vacuumed until Tuesday when I did have great housekeeping except for her forgetting coffee cups & coffee & tea, however she did go out of her way to arrange all my things in the bathroom, my perfumes, makeup, toothpaste, deodorant and other items on a clean washcloth. However the next day, today was a different story as the housekeeper did as little as possible, no new ice bag and water still in bucket from ice last night even though I made sure it was visible o she would give me a fresh bag. The room is rundown and paint peeling on bathroom door, and when I came back to my room today for a little nap on my lunch break from classes it was awful as it sounded like a jackhammer above me the whole time, forget a nap or any type of relaxation, I called the front desk and got someone today and asked if there was construction going on and she just said yes on the 19th and 20th floors, but sounded like right above me and I recorded it as it was so awful, no offer to do anything about it, like move me! Also both housekeepers today unable to speak english, so unable to communicate. Would never want to stay here again! Was very disappointed...trying to post pictures to show what I'm saying is true, but unable to post any pictures!!!

Heat did not work in our first room. TV did not work in the room they moved us to. Repair guy came fixed TV and it quit working again 2 hours later. I complained and they said sorry. That was the extent of the help I got.

The rooms are clean, but here are the problems: there is no full length mirror in the room. The bathroom is barely large enough for one person. The tiny shower has only room for a bar of soap. Your shampoo and other things have to set in the floor. The heat/air conditioning vent is on the wall and blows right on the bed. You cannot adjust it. The television is to the left of the bed so it's uncomfortable to watch from bed.

A "regular" place to stay whenever in the KC area. The property is great (restaurant, room service, breakfast, bar, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, modern, etc.). Proximity to Power & Light District, great restaurants, theatres, arenas and their sporting events and conferences, etc., is just a few blocks in any location....so a definite plus!

I really enjoy the fitness center. They have very current, well-maintained equipment and an absolutely amazing panoramic view of downtown Kansas City. My one suggestion for upgrade is my bias toward the advanced motion trainer instead of the standard elliptical trainers.

Very nice hotel and well worth the stay if you need to be downtown and/or close to the convention center. Staff was very nice and the parking is in an underground garage beneath the hotel which makes it nice.

We were at the Muehlebach, they were very good to us. And I was very impressed with the hotel it self. Absolutely beautiful and clean, the staff were great. We have stayed at the Marriott to, you can tell they are joined. Both are top quality.

missed the Elite complimentary bottled water, it was a nice touch, comp coffee would be nice, or free refill. Coffee bistro in lobby are was very upbeat and friendly, they seemed very pre-occupied with stocking shelves. And coffee condiment area was well used, didn't ask if I wanted room for cream. If your charging that much for a cup of coffee, you need to be the best most expensive cup of coffee.
Hotel was very clean, and room was very nice and clean, looked freshly renovated. Met Guest Services associated Pamela in the lobby and she was very friendly and informative about the local are dining. She was the best.

The hotel is very clean and cozy. The bed is a queen and quite comfortable. The bathtub/shower could use instructions on the wall on how to turn on the shower. Additionally, a more obvious color to attract the eye to where the shower switch is would be helpful. The temperature was great especially considering the ice storm going on outside. They treated the walkways well between the two Towers, but take the Skywalk and no worries. The restaurant Metropolitan has delicious meals, ribs amazing, burnt end burger to die for and an exceptional breakfast buffet. My only negative critique was the location of the outlet by the head of the bed, made it difficult to plug in my sleep apnea machine. I had to pull the entire bed and mattress away from the wall to reveal the outlet to plug in my machine which needs to be located at the head of the bed. I also thought it to be a fire hazard to have the mattress directly butted against the outlet. The hair dryer is a little on the slow side even full blast, I wish I had brought my own. Overall, the amenities are great.

This place is huge! I have no idea who I took this photo with but thank you for taking the photo of my wife and I. I have had two DJ in there before and it is such a huge convention. Hall. Make sure if you are a vendor you bring good walking shoes! Prettiest staff and very clean facility. Excellent breakfast as well.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I arrived at the hotel to be told that they had overbooked and did not have a room available for my roommate and I. Instead they placed us separately for the night. Rather than leave us alone in our new rooms after making a mistake, they insisted we must switch rooms the following day. I was in town for work, and had limited time to do this. But they insisted. The night after switching, I woke up to find the carpet flooded with water (hopefully) from an unknown source. However, they told me there were no other rooms available and they would "try" to fix it.we also have not had hot water for two days now.
