Market Restaurant and Bar Review

I've been to quite a few fine dining establishments in Las Vegas. This one tops them all and was the best dining experience of my life. Quick seating even though we were a bit early. We did the tasting menu and the service was attentive but not too attentive. The prices for the quality was almost "cheap". My 4 course meal was 80 dollars and I would have gladly paid more. Everything was perfect and high quality. I'll be going back every time I'm in town. With short ribs like those, I'm surprised there isn't a line around the block ever day.

Deserves a Michelin star. We have been to many restaurants in Europe with one or two stars and Market deserves it. We enjoyed a blue cheese souffle, a grapefruit and avacado salad, two salmon steaks, and a bottle of white burgundy. Outstanding service.

Dinner and drinks last night at Market. Everything was awesome! Mixed drinks, wine, salads, main courses, desserts and service were all incredible. Market is THE BEST! They are consistently one of the very best restaurants in the San Diego region.

You fill me up! Not only is this such a beautiful and yummy dining experience, but the staff is excellent! They went over and above for me! I have a new car that I didn t recognize the low gas meter warning. When the valet went to move my car, it ran out of gas. They came in and told me and they had already sent a team member to get me a gallon of gas. Wow! It is so refreshing to have a team of employees that really care and go the extra mile (literally) for a customer. This may be my favorite restaurant in San Diego now! You made me a fan for life! I made reservation to take another customer next week. Thank you Market and especially Josh who got me the extra mile!

Food was just okey,the service and attitude at the bar was awful!

We have eaten at a lot of places in San Diego and would compare this to anything really great in Chicago as a restaurant that is consistently a step above their competition. It shines here in SD relatively and their cocktails are pretty good as well. I have heard people complain that it is a bit stuffy and for those people should just eat at the bar and maybe knock back a couple spicy dons and chill out. They have sushi at the bar too as well as their full menu.

my husband and I Iike going to a restaurant night per week since se moved to San Diego a year ago. The food served at Market is the best we have ever tasted in town. Totally worth the money. We had a special menu available only during restaurant week, and everything was spectacular.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in San Diego. Food and service are always the best. Well worth the price especially in these Covid times.

We love dining here, not only because they are so helpful for special diets, but also because dinner here is such a phenomenal experience. The food is remarkable in terms of taste, originality and presentation! The amuse-bouche is something we truly look forward to on each visit. We love Chef Carl's recipe book, too.

I am a gluten-free dairy-free diner. Before discovering Market, I simply didn't eat out much, as it was so difficult to find a place that really knew what they were doing, and It was also a mood-killer having to go into a lengthy explanation about my dietary needs.

Market keeps my information on file. When we make a reservation, the information is already there so the waiter is already informed before coming to the table. For others like me, I'm sure you can appreciate how delightful and rare it is to be able to go out to dinner and just enjoy the experience!

It is not suitable to go out and eat in Aviara. The Italian restaurant is good inside and the golf clubhouse steak is good. If you go outside, this is the most recommended place. Most of the neighborhoods are home to San Diego's richest people, so the restaurant is always crowded and the food is pretty good.

I wasn't thrilled when the bookstore people took over my favorite neighborhood cocktail spot, and frankly the cocktails aren't as good as they once were, but that isn't a reasonable standard. Regardless, I am so glad we still have the Alembic!

Upscale restaurant and bar. Very small but complimentary valet parking. They create innovative cocktails and dishes. Prices are in keeping with the quality and innovation.

Fantastic farm to table dining! Every single item we tried was the best we've ever had. Gazpacho, tuna tartare, grapefruit & avocado salad, blue cheese souffle, burrata & peach salad and veal schnitzel were spectacular. Service on point. Crystal, thank you for a wonderful evening.

Pretty good food with great service. Restaurant week pricing is appropriate. The blue cheese souffle is amazing--I really enjoyed the light fluffy texture and veggie mix. The swordfish entree was cooked to perfection, but the sauces (particularly the tomato sauce) felt cheap, too sweet, and overpowered the fish instead of complementing it. The olive oil vanilla cheesecake with ice cream was delicious, smooth, creamy, and not too heavy.

A friend told us this place had amazing food. We stated with a drink at the bar.The bartender was a blond gal, no smile, no hello, so my first impression was, here we go, another uptight place to over pay for food. However once we sat down we were blown away. Amazing food, flavor like no other, fantastic service, just a fun evening worth every dollar. I have owned high end restaurants for over 20 years, enjoyed meals all over the world. Last night's food was the best meal I have ever had!
