Really cool place with a great cause. Seeing a live owl was a real one of a kind experience - at least for me. I liked that the exhibits were all rescued native wildlife. I also really enjoyed the people that run the place, knowledgeable and kind. I would very much recommend visiting this place if you are in Daytona.

This is a great place to take visitors to the area! The children love to pet the manta ray, and the Turtles are always good for a show! The red-tailed hawk is quite a sight as we see one near our house quite often. The volunteers that work there are very helpful and knowledgeable. In general, we add it to our out of town guests trip!

When I found out that there was a marine center near where we were staying I knew I had to go since one day I would love to be a marine rehabber.

This center was so nice. They have a touch pool for their rays, loads of tanks, and turtle pools. When we went there weren't any turtles, which I would have loved to have seen, but it was good that there weren't any that needed rehab. They also have a bird sanctuary which was nice to see.

They have a gift shop as well and sell jewelry, magnets, and toys (among other things). I definitely want to go back when we return.

We had fun and it was educational. The staff was friendly and able to answer our questions. We especially enjoyed the lecture about sea turtles and petting the rays. We will go back.

This place is cool. A small marine wildlife rehab and educational center. Great place for a quick visit with a small touchtank, a few aquarium displays and sea turtle hospital. A must see in the area.

The staff was so nice and friendly. My 4 year old son had a great time meeting and touching the sting rays. The staff told us about each sting ray's individual personality which was cool to see. Grace is the most friendly and outgoing one. There weren't a lot of exhibits but enough to keep him entertained for about an hour. Watching them feed the large eel was pretty cool too. Best to go during their feeding times(eel and sting rays). You should call ahead to find out the feeding times. We went around 11am on a Saturday.

This is a small, But Mighty little facility. It's not a big aquarium by any means, but it has some of the most passionate people working there. Definitely make sure you check out the demonstrations and feedings. Even though I feel like I know a lot about Wildlife, I learned a whole lot more while listening to the presentations. Don't feel afraid to ask questions, for they truly answer them with such joy and excitement for knowledge and learning. Make sure you bring money for the gift shop, too! It's small but holds a make sure you bring money for the gift shop, too! It's small well curated and there is something for everyone!

Took my grandson and we all had a great time. We fed stingarays in a pool, saw live seahorses and other marine life. Down the boardwalk is an exhibit of differant kinds of wildbirds. Makes a nice day trip.

Amazing! You can pet a sting ray, and if you're lucky you get to feed them too. My daughter loved it and we got to pet a snake and not only fun but educational. Lots of photo worthy opportunities! Highly recommend it.

Amazing place to check out! There is a little fee once you enter, but it's really not much. Very small but for its size you can learn a lot. Plus the specialists have feeding times to let people check out said animals and their eating habits. Overall I strongly recommend a visit.

What a gem. Fantastic place. The venue may be small but it has a lot to offer. Really enjoyed the educational aspect. The displays were first class. The Staff were awesome ! Definitely will return.

Don't let smaller size and low key atmosphere fool you. This is a real gem. Plan to spend about 90 minutes. Only $5 admission cheaper for seniors kids etc. Just the right amount of info signage. Great work by uf researcher there too.

The staff and volunteers are wonderful! They enjoy teaching on the few exhibits that were available. I must say this museum is VERY SMALL, with about 7 different displays/tanks of marine life (i.e. artificial reefs, Sting ray tank, small sea turtle tank, 3 large tanks of various fish and eel) all in a large room. The Sting Ray tank where they allow you to touch the sting rays were a hit with my 2 year old and the opportunity to touch a non-venomous snake as well.

The enclosed outside boardwalk; has an area where you can view the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation project and see a few gigantic sea turtles. Unfortunately, there was not much information displayed on how they caught or found the individual turtles or anyone to speak about that area (when I visited).

The Bird Sanctuary was good--once again a small area. However, I did love the 2 American Bald Eagles they had and 3 hawks, 3 various owls. A small, but interesting display of amazing birds.

The cost of admission really is like giving them a donation. It's so cheap, only $5 for an adult and I believe $2 for children. Was it worth the money? Yes!

We go to Florida every summer from Pennsylvania and my kids & I always make a stop here. My kids are now 10 & 12 and still look forward to it! We LOVE the marine science center! We will be there in less than a month :)

We came in at 3:30 PM today, a very miserable rainy day. At 3:45 we were told by a worker that they were closing in 15 minutes and we should head to the bird sanctuary if we wanted to see the birds. When we got there at 3:50 the gate was locked.

Walking up to the door you get to see some of what's inside, once you get to the counter to pay we found out that they are only charging$2 per person since they are renovating.

It's small but really neat inside, they have a classroom with some amazing things, there's several nice size fish aquariums with fish that you don't see in other places.

One of the neatest items they have is a really big, with a lot of detail, mosquito. The turtle area is really neat to watch how they have rescued and rehabilitated all of them.

It will worth the little bit of money.

We went here with our 4 year old and 1.5 year old boys. They were entertained for a few hours which is a long time for them. The exhibits were neat and informative and the staff were really great. I think we definitely got our moneys worth!
