This place is one of my favorite stops to visit. To start, everyone that works here is super friendly. The center is always clean and inviting. The displays are informative but simple for children. The best part is the turtle hospital. It's the perfect size for children. The outdoor bird area is also interesting, as well as the nature trail to the look our point. A great visit every time!

I brought an injured owl fledgling. They were super nice and helpful and said I could call in 24 hours to check on him.

Very educational and interactive experience with animals. I recommend this place for kids and adults alike.

If you like to feed stingrays, want to learn more about owls and to get up close to sea turtles, visit the Marine Science Center. A nice attraction coupled with visiting the lighthouse and has a great nature walk.

Great place for little ones. Took the niece and nephew. They loved feeding the sting rays and shark. All the turtles and birds were wonderful to see.

My best friend took me there for the first time and it's so amazing. They tell you about what they do and it's safe and fun for all kids. I recommend this place for any family.

This was a nice little detour to spend an hour walking about. Great for younger kids to check out with windows on most of their exhibits that cater to little ones. You MIGHT be able to draw it out for an hour. Its a small center and you go through it pretty quickly. The touch tank was ONLY STINGRAYS. They were delightfully friendly and actually asked for the pets - it was cute. Very clean, super friendly staff and I learned that mosquitoes have a purpose besides spreading disease. Worth a visit if you are in the area and want a low cost time waster that allows you to learn new things!

Visit and learn, it takes about an hour to go through both the marine life and the bird sanctuary. Short and sweet.

Informative and entertaining way to spend an hour, or so. The exhibits have a variety of colorful and varied species of fish and invertebrates. We were there for feeding of the octopus and seahorses.

The sea turtle rehabilitation was informative, if not a bit sad. There are tanks with turtles that are being nursed back to health, and displays of the junk that is tossed into the ocean and ingested by the turtles.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and are eager to answer any questions. The presentations are engaging and they share interesting details about each of the animals.

Always an affordable place to have family fun. My family always visits when we are in Daytona. Educational classes for kids and beautiful nature walks for everyone. It was under construction this time, so they only charged us $2 a person. The Sea Turtle rescue itself was worth 10 X's that!

Everyone should go here and spend a buck or two. A worthy cause.

These folks are doing fantastic work helping the local wildlife. They have a number of animals that are currently being rehabilitated and will be released once they have recovered from their injuries. Their work with sea turtles is especially heartening.

I am so glad we went here. The people are very friendly and informative. We learned so much about the turtles that they are taking care of. I would highly recommend going.

Very interesting and very important. They do great work on rehabing injured turtles. In addition there are many interesting exhibits. Also a fun nature walk. You can do a lot there and help a good cause.

This is a very interesting and informative little place. They do great conservation and rehab work for Volusia County. It is well worth the admission.

You can observe sea turtles in various states of rehabilitation. It is an amazing sight. The aquariums are amazing. The docents are knowledgeable and very eager to answer questions- even from young kids.

Lots of hands on exhibits. I highly recommend for a family visit.

These guys do a great job saving turtles and other sea animals that had injuries due to thrash and other stuff that humans throw in the ocean. It's a great place for kids to learn about nature & sea life, and interact with some of the species.

This was such a fun little stop and well worth the 5 dollar entrance fee. We got to pet sting rays, and we met the sweetest puffer fish too! I would definitely return in the future!

If you're visiting Ponce Inlet and you're interested in visiting this center, do it along with the lighthouse museum. Both together will give you a decent day of activity. This is not a huge place, there's not much to see, especially if you're already a Floridian. Lastly, they're doing good work with saving injured sea turtles, so the inexpensive admission fee serves a great purpose.

Could use mite parking but other than it was a good experience.

The camp is a bully camp. $200 to have your child harassed - the bully always wins here

We loved the Marine Science Center. We saw the rescued birds, which were 2 bald eagles, a great horned owl, a screech owl, a red shouldered hawk and other birds. They had several large turtles also. They had a window to the surgery room while they were repairing a hole in a turtles shell. A wildlife specialist brought the hawk into a room and held it while he explained it habits and anatomy. There was a large petting tank where you could pet friendly stingrays. It was a wonderful experience and they are doing GREAT work there in saving these wild animals. Great job!

We came here years ago on a couple's trip. We loved the interactive exhibits and seeing the admission money at work helping the animals. We can't wait to go back and bring our little one this time. The gift shop was very reasonable as well and the money went back to help rescue and help more animals. Great reason to grab a souvenir

Great fun for the whole family fish birds turtles and more

Small kiddos were able to feed sting rays. Watched a octopus open a Tupperware jar, and saw how they care for injured sea turtles.

Absolutely love this place.. always a family vacation favorite

Everyone just loved it from petting a stingray to seeing seahorses and the tutle hospital including the beautiful birds. Great for the entire family.

This was a nice learning experience for the grandkids. The facility is small but well worth the fee of $2.00 for children and $4.00 for seniors. You can hand feed a ray and view a seahorse up close! Don't forget to take the short trail across the street to the lookout tower.
