Room service was a little slow but the workers were extremely nice. The location is a bit far from the beach and attractions but they have their own private beach with service and a shuttle. The indoor pool was nice and the gym was great and clean.
I stayed in a three-room suite. It's great. Outside the door, it's a typical hotel - concrete floors, outdoor corridors, and all the usual. But the rooms are great and luxurious, and there's fun stuff to do around, like jet ski tours.
One of the nicer places to stay at myrtle Beach but I would rather stay at a beach front resort.
Excellent accommodation. Splendid room, great customer service. And right beside Ruth Chris, a nice break from the overpriced buffets. Highly recommend!
My niece got married and had her reception there and it was absolutely gorgeous the place was fantastic with that Venue
Awesome! Stayed here for my husband's 40th B-Day. The property was as pictured. The Valet Service was excellent! Loved the view from our balcony! We plan to make this a yearly trip!
My family and I's room reservation that was scheduled weeks in advance, was canceled for a "unknown reason." According to the front desk worker, it was a glitch in the system. Mind you, we drove from another state just to find out upon our arrival. No emails were sent in addressing any sort of cancellation besides the confirmation of the reservation prior to our arrival.
Had our reunion there it was a wonderful experience
The roomd were very clean and looked great. I was not bothered by the staff. I love how well kept the grounds were, and the view of the waterway is awesome. I will definitely be coming back. I will be trying the restaurant next.

Staying at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is just the most wonderful experience the Ambiance the overall environment of being on vacation is only exemplified by the Marina Inn I recommend it to anybody

The only downside is that house keeping did go through our belongings.. nothing was missing but things were out of place..When I went to the front desk to get more movies, I did hear them discussing with another customer on the phone about housekeeping going through their stuff as well..We did notice that they did not come through til after 5pm and we were not there..So as a result my husband did leave a nice surprise for them if they tried it again. So I recommend you don't leave valuables in the room but truly at any hotel, motel, resort etc.
Other than that I still recommend this resort!!

Room was nice but please do believe everything the reviews are saying about they pick and choose who to give the nice views too. We paid weeks ahead in full for a nice view and stayed in the king club suite, there were plenty of rooms available and not many people there during the week yet they give us a room with a bad view, bushes in the way, dirty boxers outside and the smell of dog poop. It was our baby moon my husband booked for us but definitely should have gone elsewhere. This was not our first time here it depends on who s working up front really but the room itself was nice. Also they pick and choose who to help with luggage. Saw them helping some but would look the other way for others even if pregnant
Lunch at the marina is the best. On the water with a great staff.
I met a friend there who was staying there and we enjoyed the pool and excellent drinks & service.
Docked here for three nights, we immediately noticed rodents droppings the morning after docking. Spent the day getting mouse traps trying to catch them. The following day we went to the office, the staff there was dismissive and did not offer any solutions. This is one of the most expensive marina in the area, definitely not what I was expecting. There is also lots of debris floating in our docking area, which again I was told was cleaned up over the weekend (we are now Monday). Finally there are no lights coming into the second entrance, which makes a night arrival very dangerous. Avoid if you can.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon! Gorgeous property. Their honeymoon package was very nice. They had chocolate covered strawberries sent to our room 2 nights in a row with sparkling cider (we don't drink alcohol), very good! The suite was very nice and clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice. We had a jacuzzi tub! The bed was very comfortable. There was one day where our room didn't get cleaned when we were out all day. The front desk quickly had housekeeping take care of it so that was good. The pool area and hot tub was very nice. They had a nice seating area around the pool and there was a nice patio right outside the restaurant. We received vouchers to have breakfast for free which was nice but the food was just ok. Our honeymoon package also included a couple's massage. The massage therapists came to our room. We loved that! And our massage therapists Amanda and Jessica were GREAT!! I would definitely recommend getting a massage!

Not much of a selection but food was good waitress was very slow.
I have never done this section of the ICW before. (Always have gone outside to Charleston.) Pleastly surprised to find this place. We were greeted by a very efficient crew who had us tided up, hooked to shore power and checked in, in mintues. Everything is very clean and first rate.
The staff is very friendly and helpful concerned about your stay and what they could do to make it better.
Mostly nice resort for a getaway. It has it's warts, but you will be mostly happy with your decision to book here.
Everything was good, but it took hours before we could checking. We were there hours after check in time..
Great stay place .Although I'm a local it's a must we stay our V day here. Spacious suite with fireplace, Indoor/outdoor pools and jacuzzi's. I love love this place.

This was a Beautiful hotel with great views. The hotel staff was very polite and courteous throughout our stay. First issue, My rate was higher upon check in than when i first initially booked. I was told their was a tax increase. I never received any correspondence from the hotel to inform of this increase. I am from out of state, and out of courtesy a phone call or email would have been great. 2nd issues, the balcony slide door would not lock easily. (Rm 6514). I have a 2yo toddler who likes to roam during the night sometimes, so this was very important to be able to lock this door. I did contact the Front desk who sent maintenance to fix it right away. We were told it was a trick to locking the door. So, my wife and I had to watch his steps in order to lock the door. I would have preferred to be able to just turn the lock, but not with this door. I asked about another room, but wasn't able to be moved. Even though I overheard another guest upon check in being upgraded. Upon coming into the room the door did not close all of the way, so you had to slam it shut for it to close properly. One morning we requested more towels and bath cloths it was around 7ish, and were told we had to wait until 8am. Nevertheless, this was a nice hotel.

Loved our 2 bdrm suite with the 2 king beds and swap around balcony. The views of the marina and the golf course were lovely. Definitely enjoyed the over-sized furniture!
Also, the staff was truly awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Great condition and layout. Myrtle Beach friendly. Put this one into your trip with Caledonia and Grande Dunes. You won't be disappointed.
Very nice property ... not very kid oriented (no lazy river ... no splash pad area ... no special events or activites for kids etc.) ... if you have young children this shouldn't be your first choice. If you're here as an adult to watch boats... enjoy the beautiful views at the marina or golf ... this is the place. We enjoyed the private beach (which you have to take a shuttle to) I think I would have preferred being at a hotel on the ocean for convenience and views. The one thing about the beach is the food stand has no frozen drinks like pina coladas... strawberry drinks or margaritas (very small selection of drinks period).
Excellent experience!!! Room was elegant and cleaned and comfortable bed. People were amiable and cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay so much. I would highly recommend it.
Nice place, I don't know about 4.5 stars nice, but the price is right during the off season. Also, great location that is around a lot of the action, but not in the action.
We had a great trip to Myrtle Beach even though it was raining thanks to the beautiful suite at the Marina Inn. The pool, fitness room and sauna were awesome too!
Some staff are really nice and some act like they are the customer when you ask them a question. Overall nice place to stay.

It is a great hotel with a central location to most attractions. The suites are nice and spacious. The suites have a full kitchen and provides everything you need to cook your own meals. Only caveat is some of the furniture needs to be updated or refreshed. Wonderful private beach access which the hotel provides shuttle transportation. The pool area is awesome and has its own bar area as well. Only issue that we experienced was with the elevator on arrival.

Service was amazing. I wish the room was a bit closer to the elevator. It was a hike from the car to the room. Front desk was very helpful. The restaurant built in was very good. The room was updated and clean. No real complaints.

Suites are beautiful, lots of furniture, TVs, full balcony, kitchen with everything, Starbucks and pools downstairs.
We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was sweet. Very spacious with 2 huge balconies that had awesome views. Beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were bigger than some rooms I have stayed in. Best lodging in MB for the room rate. We will be staying again and again!!!
Very nice hotel and suites. Friendly people and overall I had a great quality stay. The only thing is, there was one night when someone we were travelling with said they had bed bugs

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! THEY HAVE BEDBUGS! Hotel is beautiful however, my husband and I woke up with bites on our legs. We contacted the front desk and they said the entire bedding would be changed within the hour. It never happened. We contacted them a few hours later and they told us it would be done before 4:00 PM. We came back after dinner to find the beds made and the sheets had never been changed. We asked for a refund which the manager gladly gave and ended our vacation early. I would not recommend this hotel.
