Came here for a bachelor party. The rooms were great and was close to all the action!

A very nice hotel in a great location. However unnecessary fees are regrettable.

I stayed at this property last weekend for a bachelorette party. Our stay was enjoyable until the final morning when we discovered a gift (expensive hand-painted champagne glasses) for the bride was missing.
We searched and determined housekeeping must've taken them as they were sitting near the trash can. We called to find out where the dumpsters were, as they were truly that important to the bride that her bridesmaids would search for them. We were told that the trash from the prior day would have already been emptied.
Upon check out, we informed the girl at the front desk (whose name I wish I had gotten - she had dark hair and was working the morning of 6/12) of the situation. We believed they had been mistaken as trash and thrown away because they were boxed up and in a bag. She stepped away from the front desk and said she would call the Head of Housekeeping to investigate the matter further.
When she returned, she said that what we were purporting simply "could not be true" because housekeeping had not serviced our room the entire stay, that housekeeping records all rooms serviced. We explained that while we had not asked for a formal cleaning, each day a housekeeper would enter our room (witnessed by multiple people in our party) to provide us with new towels. And each time they asked if we would like the trash taken out, and we said yes.
The front desk agent continually insisted that our room hadn't been serviced and our story was impossible. In essence, she continually insisted that we were lying.
We were incredulous! I have worked in hospitality (including luxury hotels) for over 7 years. I have never witnessed such a startling display of insulting and disrespectful behavior from a hospitality worker.
We were on a tight timeline, so we had to leave with the issue unresolved. We pursued the matter further on our trip home - we called and spoke with another manager who said we would receive a call back shortly. When we didn't receive a call back by 6pm that day, we called again and asked for the GM to return our call the next day.
It took the bride speaking with two different people to receive any reimbursement (although they kept telling her she was wrong). Managment insisted their housekeepers had turned in $10,000 before and had no reason to believe they would take our champagne glasses. Even upper management was insisting we were lying! The bride repeatedly explained that they didn't take the glasses on purpose but were mistaken for trash. It was an honest mistake but it needed to be acknowledged and addressed. Management begrudgingly reimbursed her, but not without continually insulting her and making her feel like she was in the wrong.
As a hospitality professional, I'm appalled by the dismal level of service the management at Margaritaville provides their guests. Every single person involved in the matter should be ashamed of themselves. To call yourselves "hospitality professionals" would be a farce. I've told all of my coworkers at the luxury resort where I work (also in Florida) and I will continue to advise anyone I know not to stay at your establishment.

We checked in with Jordan at the front. Let me say she was great and helped us get set up for our room and even where to go for things to do. We worked with Lisa for a private charter boat which turned out amazing. For my first trip to Key West, it was great. I will for sure be back to your hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back for another trip. Pool bartenders were great all week. Kids had a blast.

Key West is such a pintoresque island, that becomes a must when you come to miami

I went to stay here on Friday September 18 thru the 21 we checked out! We had a room wifh a view of the water which made it a nice room..the carpet in the hall smelled of meldew from ater damage..i enjoyed my stay because my husband and I did a lot of the activities on the resort..my disappointment came in when I realized I left my wallet and nike tenny shoes in the room. I contacted the hotel and they are saying my things were not there..which is total bull. House keeping management seem to feel that because he has been there all of two years he know his staff..point is someone stole my things and said it was wrapped in linen that went to a laundry facility so there for my wallet can not be recovered..my advice is double check your room before you leave cause if you forget something IT WILL NOT BE RETURNED!! HOUSEKEEPING TAKES THINGS THAT IS LEFT BEHIND BY GUEST. and i would not post this if I wasn't 100% sure

Nice resort well located, close to the emblematic streets and bars. The pool is unwelcoming and small. The beach is far away. Nice room clean and good views. Breakfast can not be included in the price.

Hotel in excellent location! Patio to room went out directly to Mallory Square! Room was large, very clean, we plan to stay here again. Staff was nice and helpful. They even let us stayed parked til 5pm the next day of our check out while we were on a water tour.

Nice clean resort. Lots of activities. Safe and fun.

I've never stayed at the hotel, but I have rented chairs here. You can rent regular loungers, umbrellas, or even covered spots. People do come around and you can place drink orders too. They also have one of those surfing pools, some water slides, and other things at the resort you can buy into.

Good and bad. Good is location, right in the middle of everything, along the water. We got a balcony room with water view, which was great as long until the cruise ships show up, and dwarf everything. Don t accept a first floor room as the whole world basically walks through your balcony.

The bad. Roaches, and lots of them. They follow water so the congregated around the coffee maker (P.S. don t use the coffee maker). I m pretty shire they did nothing about the coffee maker though we specifically told them they needed to clean it first. The place was all reserved out. Also the bed was so hard we couldn t use it. Had to order rollaway cots. Finally there was no real comfortable place to relax. Either seats or lounges weren t cushioned, and all but four of the cushioned chairs were not comfortable to sit in. The pool area is only so so.

Beautiful clean resort right on the Key West Marina and within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and shops. There is 3 restaurants within the resort and much more. We will definitely returning for another stay.

Great place to watch the sunset at Key West. We had drinks an appetizers waiting for the sun to go down. Great memories.

Ditto the rest of JB and his sister's all seem to be the same. Folks working will go out of the way to serve you. As an aside, walk across the parking lot and go to B.O.'s and get a Cuban sandwich for later and sit and enjoy the Key Lime Pie. Best ever.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Yes we went during the whole Covid-19 scare, so the beaches were shut down, we had to wear masks all the time in the stifling heat. But it was worth it. I surprised my husband for his birthday with a long weekend over the 4th of July. It is so beautiful there, lots of cute lil shops with unique items. A lot of walking but we had a great time. Very relaxing. The resort gave us several free drinks and appetizer passes for his birthday. It was awesome. The staff is great and the bar tenders were so nice and fun to hang out with.

This is a amazing hotel located right in the middle of downtown Key West. The pool is nice and so is the bistro. Plus there are great ocean view rooms. Highly recommend.

Good location. .Other than the reception, barely anyone spoke english. I checked in at 4pm for one day and I was told they didnt jave our room ready. When my wife joined me, she managed to find a new room immidiately. Next time I might try Hyatt Centric, also on good location.

Super nice clean room with beautiful view of the marina. Bed was a little hard for me but was ok. Can t complain when your in paradise

Buffets very first Margaritaville, small and quaint, interesting, no parking though but not a long walk from the harbour. Worth only a quick look for historical significance.

A real Gem in a magical place ...

Was spending my 15th anniversary with my husband and decided to get a room for the weekend.. upon check in was told go outside and around the corner to find your room .. then I found my room and it smelled like mildew.. not impressed at all . Thought it would have been so much better.. wifi didn't work.. just a disappointment.. cleaning staff amazing valet amazing

Upon arrival customer service has been great!! Room is to my standard. The best part great view!!

A good hotel, everything is new and clean, a huge parking lot, there is Wi-Fi, everything is clean and comfortable in the rooms, there is a safe, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, shower accessories. There are kayaks, paddle board, tennis table, pool.

I would have given this a higher rating, however my expectations were sadly overrated. I was not told about the 2nd building away from the main building where the pool/bar was located. Not sure what I had to pay a resort fee for, when no one even showed me where the pool or bar was, or explained anything about the grounds! I was told I would receive a different room when I book, than what I actually received. Our shower had some issues, but it did the job. Our door to the balcony had a lock, but DID NOT WORK! The lobby was VERY lacking in any appearances also has a Very bad smell!!
I was very happy for the friendliness of the staff, they kept our bags before check in... and after check out. That right there was GREAT!
The location was Perfect, however I am still unhappy about the 2nd building. Made me feel I had over paid for what we got. I also had to pay for parking in their parking deck (I've gone to other hotels that include this for your stay) and was not enlightened until check in. However our room key didnt even work to allow me to pull in and they hadn't programmed it... even though they tild me it was (this was funny more then anything). Also, the 15% OFF they advertise at the Key West Express, is total B.S. False Advertising and was told on the phone they don't honor it!!! When I questioned the guy at the desk, he told me it was already apllied... LIE!!! I received an incentive for booking early... that was it! I have gone to other Margaritaville establishments before, and I must say, this was most likely the worst one I have been to overall... I would have figured it would be the best of the best as it's in the Keys! Very unhappy. I would have made a bigger deal when we had arrived, however we have never been to Key West, and I didn't want to get my wife or myself in a bad mood... we just wanted to explore and have fun!

Great location and all access to downtown Key West shopping and Sunset celebrations. Next to aquarium and cruise port.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a beautiful place in a beautiful location!

Everyone was very nice and helpful and the room was very nice. The only issue we had was the room was quite hot when we arrived and it took all night to cool it completely off.

We are having a great time. The room exceeded our expectations. The service is great and everything is clean. They also gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate my brother's birthday! Very thoughtful! Sunset is amazing!

Came to this Resort when it was only 9 months old and I couldn't believe how beat up it already was dents and doors dirty carpets the place is really being abused they can have to renovate every year at this rate I will not go back

We loved every single part of staying in Room 380 at your hotel. The room size was unbelievable . . . and what a view!

Phenomenal resort and the views are absolutely mesmerizing. A lot of amenities included with the stay.

The hotel was very good and included free parking. The room wasn't so clean because they didn't empty the fridge and there were some dishes with shrimps that stank up the room. Otherwise it was very good hotel.

I will always treasure my time spent in key west and the memories. We stayed in margaritaville and it was a pleasure.

Absolutely delicious food. Beautiful resort. Friendly staff and restaurant staff. Definitely recommend you visit. Cause it's always 5 o'clock somewhere.
