Love going to see the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra!
Wonderful venue. Never have we had a bad seat. Ticket costs are reasonable, but the fees are ridiculous (hence a 4 and not a 5 rating). Parking is convenient with a drywall connection. Coatcheck amenity is nice, though we've never used it. Selection of shows is also nice.
We were in Box seats and had a fantastic view with great listening for Hamilton! There was space to relax and enjoy and take in the experience...
My First Time There Me My Son We Enjoy Our Self At The Father's Day Ball
Beautifully built. Sounded great inside. Bathrooms need an upgrade.
Beautiful center, great staff. Love the skywalk to the parking garage.
Bathrooms are small and are in every it her floor on opposite sides of the building which causes ling lines for bathrooms during intermission
I work here so I'm definitely biased but my experience as a team member is one of the best I've ever had and I'm happy to be a part of this company.
The sound system was completely screwed up for the concert. After multiple complaints they finally started looking into it during intermission. I ended up having to explain to the engineer that they had a hot mic within the woodwinds of the symphony because we could tell from the audience that was going on, and I had to explain to him how to fix it. It took them about two-thirds of the concert to repair the sound system so that it wasn't humming anymore. It truly ruin the experience of what should have been a beautiful show.
Nice theater. Clean and well kept. Staff was helpful
Beautiful venue. I was here chaperoning a field trip and the kids loved it.
MSO performance of Beethoven 's 9th Symphony was fantastic . The venue was a bit warm for me, but there is not a bad seat in the house.
Always a great show!! Still need to upgrade their sound system though ... geez that really brings down a show when you can't understand the performers. I pay top price for box seats to each show ... I would hope for better!!
The production of Hamilton they have going on right now is very good
I love coming here to see shows. The only negative is the mess the parking garage often is after shows. We waited in our parking spot for 45 minutes before being able to exit.
Beautiful historic theater in Milwaukee. Great selection of Broadway plays and shows
Great views from all seats, sound quality is good. I enjoy going there for the shows
Ushered in like cattle. Shows are great. Parking stinks. Homeless and punks are an issue hassling your family.
Beautiful venue, great shows. Phantom of the Opera was one of the best sets and performances I've seen to date.
Not the greatest design when it comes to bathrooms though.
We saw Rudolph The Musical - great performance and a great facility. Really not a bad seat in the place and the staff was very helpful.
Seen the nutcracker here and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend!
This place has very friendly and helpful staff however their seats are definitely built for quantity not quality... And if you in the family tier you'll need to bring something to improve your vision...it's very difficult to see any actors facial expressions from those seats
Sorry they put in cup holders in the box seats. Last Symphony , the arm of the seat was sticky. Not cool!!!!
Beautiful building with attentive staff. Moderate prices on snacks. Comfortable seats. A great place to see a show.
Have been here a few times over the years, most recently for an MSO show, which was a great experience. Walked a bit for parking, but that was by choice. Theater is getting older, but that's part of the experience I guess.
Great venue for a show and right on the river and close to shopping and food.
Shakespeare (Comedy of errors), free at the Pect Pavilion. Great summer activity to counter the raw consumerism of Summerfest.
Sound and lighting were very good. I was in the Orchestra section, lower middle, and could see and hear everything quite well. I would see more shows here if something strikes me.
Saw Broadway's The Lion King. It was AMAZING, the acoustics: Fantastic, seating: Amazing, overall feel of the place: Comfortable and Fun. Would go see another show there again.
I saw Kinky Boots & Once here and had a blast! A really great space for theater. I look forward to going back.
We bought 3 tickets for Sunday February 9 performance of The Lion King. We had a bad snow storm come through and could not safely drive from Waukesha to Milwaukee that evening. When my daughter called to see if we could exchange our tickets we were told no. They would not give any kind of a refund or exchange on the tickets. I feel that I am not sure I want to give any more of my business to this company.
Yesterday I went with my daughters to see "The Lion King "a full length Broadway musical making it's tour at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Milwaukee. You are no longer in your seat, you are on the plains of the African Savannah surrounded by fascinating animals puppeteered by humans .The music of "Circle of Life," "Can you feel the love tonight"and countless other songs are performed by an outstanding cast of singers and orchestra including the beat of the African drums that pulsate during the performance. The vibrant colorful costumes, the lively dancers transport you during this magnificent moment in time that I assure you will be a memory for years to come.
This place is so awesome we bought season passes and almost always sit front and center row. I've never had a single bad experience here and I go often.
Went to see Phantom of the Opera, was amazing. Only wish the restroom had better exit access.
I was at the Marcus Center to see the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, one of the premier orchestras in the country.
Saw Book of Mormon here and it was amazing, even though I was way up top.
Nice place to have an event. The service for the private event was excellent!
Can tell this place is getting a little dated. I find myself coming here at least twice a year and compared to similar venues around the country, it's about due for some upgrades....from the common areas to the seating. In particular, this was my first time in recent memory that I sat somewhere other than orchestra level in Uihlein Hall. Due to the lateness in getting our tickets we had upper-level seating, and I was not impressed with the sight lines to the stage. This could/should be improved upon as part of any renovation/upgrade project. But age notwithstanding, I'm happy we have such a venue to experience first-class live entertainment. The performances here have always been top notch. This includes the other smaller theaters in the complex. My favorite is Todd Wehr theater....not a bad seat in the house, and a perfect intimate setting for First Stage productions.
First Stage performances for the whole family is favorite tradition any time of year
My company has had many events here. The catering is always wonderful as well as the service and complete venue.
