Gets crowded and the seated area dominates so heavily that the standing room ticket holders feel like they are in a walkway. The servers circle the room that way too, proving it is just a walkway for the higher paying customers. Intimate, but only comfortable if you buy a seat.

I like small venues but they cram way too many people in the space. Coming in there are people in standing areas in which there is a lot of traffic. Those lucky to get table seats had no room to move. 4 to a table and no space in between.
We sat in chairs alone the side of the stage, I loved being up close while watching Meshell Ndegeocello perform. Unfortunately, we had to pass drinks down to people in our row of chairs because there wasn't enough room to walk without disrupting everyone sitting there. Lucky we had the end seats. Not having enough space was a big issue.

A beautiful, intimate venue to be up close and personal with the performers. I was with my wife to see Kate Vogel. My wife is a huge fan of here. I paid extra for the meet and greet. I never received any information, and there was nothing posted online about when to get there for the meet and greet. We showed up an hour early for the concert and were informed we missed the meet and greet. When asked for an explanation on why we were not provided a time, and requested a refund, we were brushed aside. We still enjoyed the concert but we're disappointed to have unnecessarily paid extra, and missed out on a once and a lifetime meet and greet for my wife.

Great smaller venue with outstanding sound. Just wish the chairs were more comfortable and tables a little bigger, but then there would be less room, so I guess I understand the tables being smaller. Had a great time seeing Aaron Neville there.

Very nice and intimate venue for a show. They had a good selection of whiskies, and the serving staff did a great job taking orders during the event without disruption. Also, the pizza joint attached to the front makes great little pizzas. Will return again if a show pops up and highly recommend.

The food in the restaurant is fabulous but the venue is unbelievable. Small, intimate, and they book very cool acts. I saw The Bad Plus there and they are out of this world good at what they do.

Small and intimate concert venue. They always have a good line up of Indie, and less commercial acts. The interior is simple but beautiful. It's one of my favorite places right outside Chicago.

Kermit only played for 60 minutes at tonight's 7 PM show. Very disappointing that they ended 75 minutes before the next show. Don't know if that is on the Kermit or the venue. Not a good value for my $44 seat. Usually Space is usually an excellent deal, but watch out when the artist puts on two shows in a night. My bad I should have waited a day to catch Kermit at Fitzgeralds the on Saturday for $25.

I came here with my gf for a concert featuring Andrew Combs, Jay Nash, and Christopher Paul Stelling. Concert lasted from 8-11pm, and Jay Nash was probably my favorite.

The venue is small, but the seats are pretty close to the stage, and the acoustics are great.

The pumpkin patch at Space's Summer Stage is a great alternative to the packed pumpkin patches during COVID. The donuts and cider were delicious and we even got to enjoy the sounds of the concert while we picked out pumpkins. I applaud their creativity during these difficult times for live venues. If you can catch a live show before it gets too cold, that looks like lot of fun, too. They have a fire pit and a tent. So cozy!

By far my favorite live music venue. Lighting and sound are top notch. The venue is intimate and every seat is a great view. The booker does an amazing job securing wonderful artists. Bar has great drinks (I especially enjoy the Manhattan with 4 roses rye). You can bring in pizza from Union to enjoy with your show.

My view is a little different since I have had the pleasure of performing at Space. They take such good care of the band and the food is scrumptious. They are always very accommodating and kind. Cheers to Evanston Space!

Drove down from Milwaukee and had read good reviews of the place, but I can say it was unquestionably the best live music venue I've been to.

Not only was the sound quality top notch, but the whole vibe of the club - sort of a jazz club feel - makes it very appealing. The set-up for this show was cabaret tables: 4 rows, 5 per row, 4 seats per table. And while they definitely were arranged in a way to allow maximum people close to the stage, at not point did it remotely seem cramped.

I would definitely drive the 90 minutes to see shows here again.
