The Marcus Center for the performing arts is a beautiful place to see performances live. It is a place to watch live productions or performances like plays musicals etc.
The theater itself is nice and ushers are great. The production we were there for was able to put on an amazing show and special effects. The available bar service was much too expensive for barely a shot of alcohol in a drink. There was about 50 cents worth of liquor and$9.50 worth of ice!
Really cool venue. Easy parking in attached garage. Staff and ushers are friendly. The sound can be a little off depending on where you sit. Coat check isn't always available.
Its amazing here my daughter goes here for first stage plays and she is taken care of and when she comes home an I ask how was it she say it was so fun I love it mom
Saw the Lion King last night. The show was excellent and the actors were suburb. It was well worth the price. We sat in the ADA section and were only 6 rows from the stage.
I have been an MSO subscriber for many years. They are top notch. You should have high expectations for both classical and pops. The off Broadway shows here are also very good.
The facility is clean, the staff is helpful finding your seat. Cash bar only, which is disappointing, however there's a ATM located in the lobby. Though it's located on the ramp, so you'd be in the way of anyone using a wheelchair trying to come in or out. Parking in the ramp across the street is perfect and you can take the sidewalk over, which kids would love.
We had great seats in the balcony with no one in front of us. Staff was helpful from buying tickets at the box office to going is to our seats. It was super quick and easy to park in the adjacent structure and get to our seats with time to spare before the show. Overall great experience. I'm looking forward to coming back for another show!
I very much like the PAC. First, it has easy access with cheap parking garage next door. Second, seating is comfortable, with good sight lines to stage from most any seat. Third, always comfortable...never too hot, never too cold. Just right. Fourth, usher guide you to seat efficiently. Only downside...not a fan of European seating...there should be aisle down middle... especially if seated in center of row.
Great place to go for a show, whether it be a Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performance, a musical, or the opera. Seats are comfy and give enough space, you get good views and can hear well from wherever you sit, and the space outside the performance hall is perfect for standing around and talking during intermission. If you're a student, take advantage of Student Rush tickets! Bathrooms are a bit tight and parking can be a pain, but these never overshadow the shows. From The Nutcracker to Mozart, it's always a joy to come here for an afternoon or evening.
