Great location close to the beach, some great cafes and the tram. Also I love that it is situated just away from the hustle and bustle, so it's fairly quiet too. The staff were all so lovely and last but not least, the room was a good size, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the facilities were all clean. I would give it 5 stars if it were not for all the hype construction on level 4.

Mantra on View never disappoints the staff a wonderful and the hotel it self is great.
The hotel offers a gym, tennis courts and swimming pool with an out door bar. It also offers a day spa which is so relaxing. When booking with the hotel make sure to ask for the breakfast package as they offer an all you can eat buffet breakfast which is to die for.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Great value. No direct connection from carpark to the room, needs to change lift and a few steps on the way which is not convenient with lougag.

My stay was aweful, was declined 4 people when in a two king bedroom room and told to leave and stay on the streets stranded in the early hours of the morning until visiting hours were open. Absolutely appalling and would not recommend to anyone to stay at.

It was disappointing to not be allowed an international standard checkout time of Noon albiet I am struggling with a disability. I was offerred an extra 30 minutes till 10:30 but could have till 11 if I paid $10. Eventually an 11am checkout was granted for free but no longer as the room was booked that night.

The housekeeping staff were lovely. The reception staff were lovely albiet not enough as we had to wait a long time to check in. It was management that denied the request.

Good

Great hotel, spacious room, especially the bed is comfortable, you can see the Gold Coast from the balcony of the room, the living function nearby, for the tourists, the purchase is super convenient

In fact, it is not bad, the room is comfortable and beautiful, but the bed is a bit soft, the bathroom has a bathtub, but there is only a small piece of glass in the shower curtain, there is no way to cover the water, the shower floor is full of water, there is a balcony and the balcony is attached to the table and chairs. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends and the rooms were decent sized and some good facilities in the hotel. The furnitures and interior of the hotel are bit outdated and didn t encounter any staff member during 2 night stay so not really sure about the customer service. Nice pool area with a good view. Average experience overall.

The hotel lobby has recently been updated however the rest of the hotel does seem a bit tired looking (in comparison to other nearby hotels). Location is excellent and extremely close to most of Surfer's Paradise's eateries and incredibly close to the beach. Would stay again but only because the staff are exceptional and the location suits young party-goers like me.

Excellent customer service, received a complimentary bottle of wine and a card for my wedding anniversary. Rooms cleaned immaculately and facilities on site pool, gym and access to food to order 24hrs.

Highly recommend for families.

This hotel was located in a central place with a lot of restaurants and bars were located within the walking distance. You can choose between the City or Beach view in terms of the balcony.
The only complaint was that we were not given any extra time even though the staff member told us that you can pay extra to extend it for an hour or two.
Otherwise, it was a nice experience and the prices were pretty decent.

The rooms on the floors above 10 have great view and the room service is great. Usually a tourist hotel so it is packed almost every day. Close by the beach and has good shopping opportunities nearby if you're into shopping

Rooms are pretty good size love the balcony and the view. There is a tram station nearby and a grocery store just outside the hotel lobby. Didn t like the fact that the didn t vaccume the floor of the room most of the time, we would come back and there would still be crumbs all over. Also our room was one of the older rooms that weren t renovated..

Location was amazing and we got a great view from 17th floor. When we arrived we asked for concierge, 2 kids and 5 bags to carry they said we can do it ourselves as no one was there. Lame. Then next day we return after having the room cleaned. Only thing done bed was made and only 2 towels for 4 people. Crumbs from our breakfast was still left on our coffee table. We had called for clean mugs as the morning mugs were left dirty. Are we supposed to do that? Other hotels give you everything cleaned. I called and asked for clean mugs and glasses. The girl got my room #1714 and we waited and nothing came. My husband told me not to get angry and spoil our holiday. I think Mantra is overated. If your staff want to learn about great service, go and learn from SeaWorld Resort. They treat you like a guest not a worker begging for things which are standard for hotel's. 22nd Feb check who cleaned out room 1714, poor job. This person needs training.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious but a little worn out. Things were generally clean and daily cleaning of the rooms were good. Some mattresses can be more saggy than others. Would love to have a microwave in fridge if possible. Buffet breakfast was good and the views of the ocean were nice too. Pool was nice but not as big as some other Gold coast resorts.

The only thing good is the location. Staff is rude and knows nothing about the surrounding. No need to go for the buffet breakfast or dinner. No standard for house keeping. And I saw a cockroach on the last day of my stay...

Chose the Mantra because it had a good reputation. Paid a significant sum to stay. Car parking wasn t free. In fact, car parking was in the building next door a run-down dump. No lift available. Had to walk down a dusty flight of stairs littered with old clothing, broken suitcases and three men urinating in the stair well. Went back via another staircase. This one with a broken stairflight, broken escalator and sign saying closed . They had the gall to charge for this! Check-in lines were 20 minutes. Check-out the same. Pool was dirty and grimy. Tennis courts fenced off and hadn t seen action for years clearly. Room service stops at 9pm and they charge a $3 fee for delivery! No free wifi in the rooms. This is 2019, not 1980. I m starting to see a common approach at all Mantras I ve stayed in. Avoid.

Extremely unhappy with the service provided by the reception. In my case, the receptionist (male) told us that the hotel would an extra $33 as we have purchased a movie from the TV, which we didn't. I did accept the fact that one of us might have accidentally pressed the wrong button on the remote control and "purchased" the movie. But I was more disappointed at the way the guy (about 30-year-old) at the reception told us that "we had your credit card details and the extra amount will be charged no matter what" without even trying to provide some other solutions. At the end, we paid an extra $33 for a movie that we didn't even watch, we feel a little cheated.

Good basic room and facilities. Nothing fancy. The website doesn t mention that the parking next door (care park) doesn t have a functional lift, nor is it not the one to use if parking overnight for $10. Make sure you check in before parking so they will give you the swipe card and direct you to the correct spot, which is in their basement. They also gave us a breakfast voucher, but I guess I didn t read the fine print. It s not free - it s $25 per room, which is still cheaper than what you might pay online, but because it was a voucher, we thought it was free, only to be charged when arriving at the buffet.
