2nd time I've stayed here and I've decided it's my go to hotel if I'm ever at the coast. Very clean, parking available for decent pricing (only problem is that their parking is limit to 1.9m so if you have big beast trucks... Be aware - we juuust hit the bars but managed to get into the carpark unscathed). Nice helpful staff and front desk is available at any time. Great placement, very close to restaurants and Cavill Ave. Also have a great 24hr pharmacy and tram station just outside.

The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is well located near the heart of Surfers. The only negative was that the pool area is outdated (circa mid 1980s) and is in needs of an upgrade and better shade.

A great room and breakfast, with amazing views of the ocean. I was pleasantly suprised to have room service do an amazing job in making our beds each morning during a recent convention. Definitely a location for a pleasant stay, for both personal and business.

Clean rooms with great view, very convenient location.

Reception are unresponsive to requests. Apparently housekeeping work office hours only. Booked a full ocean view room to get a side ocean view and rooms are not vacuumed.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Stayed here for one night and had a good time. Hotel was close to the beach, and the buffet breakfast options were great.

Had the most amazing experience here. The staff were amazingly helpful when we managed to get locked out of our room. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Special thanks to Ashleigh and Jamie for being so kind and understanding. We know where we are staying every time we visit the Gold Coast!

The Mantra is a nice hotel with pretty decent service. Great location with clean rooms. The function hall isn't the biggest, but it delivers. Thanks for making my visit worth it!

In the first week of May this year, I arrived to find my room had marks on the walls, the cabinetry was chipped, the wall and door paint was chipped, the base of the bed had ripped material that was hanging down. I complained and was offered a refurbished room that I declined, one of the reasons was that I had laundry to do and was told I would have to walk 10 minutes to a laundromat down the road. I was told by the duty manager that I was not eligible for a refund of my prepaid room as on the website the rooms are depicted as they are. I refute this and your 4 star rating because of the state of my room, I wish I had thought to say this to her at the time. In an email from the hotel I was asked to make a response on my stay. I did, and had no reply. I loved my Gold Coast experience otherwise, from the hotel I moved to. Love Australia too!

everything money!!! the real world. tooth brush and tooth paste $2.50 , room slipper 2.50, booked room with breakfast, kid charged extra $14, level 1709 no bath tub even though you booked with special request, internet room wifi charge, only lobby available, at breakfast buffet coffee extra 4 bucks, omelette 5 bucks. welcome to the on view! room is clean. staffs friendly. pool and hot spa ok but full of dirty and leaves and plastic. see pic

Located in Surfers Paradise, it is ideally located to get out of the hotel, whether it is shopping, eating, drinking or going to the beach. There is also a light rail tram stop nearby, which is quite convenient.

Great hotel within a 5 minutes walk to Cavill Avenue and minute walk to the beach. It's also a minute walk from the tram stop

Certainly value for money. Staff are very professional and the rooms are very neat and tidy. Balconies for smokers (If you smoke that is) are a bonus.

The pricing is more than reasonable, facilities excellent and the food quality good. The bar are was perhaps a bit below what it could have been but generally not a bad establishment. I d certainly stay there again.

Nice room with an amazing view. My mum and I stayed for my birthday and they left a bottle of bubbles in the fridge for us!

Stand in a line for 45 minutes to check-in. Stand in another line for 10 minutes to access the elevator. There is no pool.
I want my money anf time back.

Stayed with Airbnb, great location and value. Included FREE wifi and Netflix.

Towers of chevron much better ,had to put napkin over vent to kill noise it was ridicules

Enjoyable stay. Room clean and comfy. Breakfast yum. Staff helpful even when under pressure when everyone is wanting to check out. I was lucky I had express check out.
Big Thank you to the manager on front desk allowing me to park my motorcycle in the staff parking.
Will definitely stay here again.

The room was nice with a good ocean view. Beds were comfortable and staff were nice. Although, the twin room bathroom had a window with blinds controlled from the outside, which is weird for a twin room - unless you have romantic trips where you sleep seperate...

Rooms so out dated and run down needs a good paint lots of scuff marks on the walls and chipped paint. Damn those white curtains they need thicker heavier drapes to bloc out the bright early sun. Had problems trying to open the cabinet door to the fridge was swollen perhaps due to moisture no toilet brush bathroom dirty mould in the corners. Stuffy and hot in our room and our aircon didnt work. Had a weird smell through out the hotel. The reception area looked very impressive but the room was a total let down. I suppose the only best thing about the hotel was the location the view off the balcony and the happy polite staff.

Rude staff young kids in charge with complete arrogance that is just ridiculous

Absolutely disappointed ... no swimming pool!
Take note everyone ... only place on the GC without one it appears . Left room at 9am
And came back at 4 pm
And still not done . Tried ringing someone but phones only work to reception which is under staffed ... allow 20mins to get served even in the middle
Of the day . Upset about the whole
Experience ..... never to return .....

Great view. Great hotel. Superb location for beach access, Surfers Paradise attractions, public transport, restaurants and all things Gold Coast. The room had a spectacular view as we were placed on the 21st floor. We were 3 occupants and Jetstar and Mantra marketed the package with pictures with two Queen beds but never explicitly stated that it was not the case and they can give a room with one king size bed with an additional couch. We only figured after we made our booking and called Mantra and they re like well we can t so anything check with Jetstar and Jetstar was like check with Mantra. You know, the usual blame the other guy. But whatever, we weren t too fussed because it still a good deal and the rest of the factors worked out great. Also you can request additional mattress for $40 a night. Room service was great except day 2 when new towels were forgotten and milk and tea was not replaced but upon requesting we got extra so great service, actually. Concierge is great, super friendly. Guided us well for public transport. Overall great. I would definitely stay at Mantra on view without a second thought and highly recommend to all headed towards Gold Coast. Arguably the best place to stay.

Friendly staff, we got what we requested with very reasonable price, roomy apartment with rap around verandah with views to the beach and city, the furniture was average 7 out of 10 beach towels or pool towls are not supplied batroom was 6 out of 10

I love this hotel! The view is one of the best on the coast. The rooms are very nice always clean, marble bathroom. They upgraded me without having to ask! LOVE THE BALCONY, I simply cannot overstate the sheer importance of a balcony when in relaxation mode people! Even though the restaurant and pool were closed unfortunately, they still provided ice, the manager brought it up himself! I have stayed here several times and will continue to stay here. .il be back soon hopefully!.

This was one old hotel that smelt like smoke in the rooms and was dusty. Say at any other hotel you can!

Mantra on View was a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. A short stroll gets you to Cavell Ave and the Cypress G link station is even closer. Mantra on view has great rooms well appointed rooms, a lovely pool, and welcoming and helpful staff. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that I could hear the guests in the room next to me - this may be because the room was the kind with the door in between to have the option of adjoining rooms.

I highly recommend getting the buffet breakfast package as it was so tasty, with lots of options, and gave us a great start to our days exploring the Gold Coast.

Our family stayed here for our Chrismast holidays. It's quite a pleasant experience. The room is not really spacious for the 4-people family. Nonetheless, the swimming pool is ok, the location is good, close to many good restaurants and few minutes walking to the beach. Buffet breakfasts are decent with a mix of intercontinental foods. The only complaint I can think of is the parking, which is a public parking next door but due to renovation and sort, the way back to the hotel is not really convenient.

Do not stay at mantra on view!!!
They are such a rip off! My friend and I bought 2 passes for movie world, sea world and wet and wild and we didn t use them cuz it was raining and they wouldn t refund it!! Which is not fair at all! Instead they charged us $238 and the staff/manager were so rude she wouldn t even listen to use! Keep talking on top of us!
I don t recommend this place at all!

Good price for accommodation but ridiculously expensive for wifi. Beds and other facilities are alright. For some reason there are blinds between the bathroom and main room which do not sufficiently block visibility. Good location, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach.
