Nice view and great Surfers Paradise central location. Unfortunately balcony door frame old so not sealing properly, hissing noise on high levels 20+ from air-conditioning and other wind related issues. One can feel the property is dated and heavily used without proper maintenance to keep fresh... bathroom door had a large chunk of paint peeled off. No slippers offered... mixed feelings about this Hotel...

Convenient, clean, quiet, worth of my money
Worth of my money, booked high ocean view king room, room is clean, quiet, the location of hotel is off the crowd but very convenient, 2~3 minutes walk to Cole supermarket, downstairs is a big store open 24 hours, light train station is around the corner, I am so glad I chose this hotel over others, will definitely recommend this hotel to others

Only average rooms need maintenance done..was told it had been upgraded since changing names..not at all...Stayed here a few years ago..twice bitten third time shy..won't be staying here again..even still had to pay to park the car $8 a day on top of hotel room fee..

Great location and nice hotel, partly dated but still much nicer than others on the Gold Coast. Friendly staff and nice views regardless of your room selection. Great for a quick weekend on the coast especially if you want to be right near Cavill Ave and the bars and restaurants that stem from it.

Good price for good location, service was on point. Staff very courteous. Tennis courts not available, pool paint a little aged and some cracks you could feel in the hot tub flooring is the reason for the loss of one star.

The rooms need touch up badly, and the bath rooms are very dated, also fairly mouldy.Car park was disgustingly dirty, as was the lift from car park to reception. Not a great welcome. Two of the spa tubs weren t working properly, one was cold, the other one would not bubble. Please note that you will
only get ocean views from the balcony, but not the room. Our stay was okay, but I would not be back.

Nice and comfortable. Sound proofing in Rooms could be better. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've been on, pillows too soft for me. Restaurant is nice, breakfast buffet is worth it. $10 to park for 24 hours

Booked a room a week before we were to travel, and must say, got the best $$$ deal @ Mantra on View. The staff were exceptionally good to us. Be it the one at the concierge/ reception or the one at the restaurant, thoroughly impressed. Location is pretty central as well with mins away from the beach. Loved the all you can eat buffet breakfast.

Great for the price. We stayed in a twin room with ocean view with our 2 month old baby and were very comfortable. Clean, spacious room with a nice balcony to enjoy the Surfers Paradise views. Has gym, outdoor pool and spa amenities. Great location within Surfers, very central just near Cypress Ave tram stop. Would stay again!

Great

PARKING is a joke. Broken elevator and $20 to lug my suitcase and 2 bags through an abandoned shopping mall and around the block come on!! Propper signage and or free parking is a must while "repairs" happen. #NotHappyJan

Bathroom smelled awfully bad, no adequate exhaust fans. Room was clean, can t fault house keeping. The balcony was nauseating can t believe the rail was so low on floor we were on, scared of heights, this is not for you, I didn t think it looked safe at all, scary in fact.
Reception area was so sterile, no nice plants indoors, or at least not many, a nice tree would look good, and appear more welcoming.

We booked 2 rooms for new year's eve break 5 nights, only landed with the one room after they managed to electronicaly change the full reservation & shifting the blame on others in a loop

Wow. First impressions not good. Although staff were friendly, Walked into our room and the bedroom looks nice, but that bathroom is almost not finctional at all! Shower head is a detachable one - can t have a shower and wash your head without bending under the water, which sprays in all directions soaking the room! Very uncomfortable. Rust in the bathtub and dirty-looking tiles. Paint job is terrible and patches in the shower wall (tiles glued over tiles to cover) and in the walls where something clearly used to be but isn t any more. Very disappointed overall. For the same price we could/should have gone to crown plaza, which is much better and only a tiny bit dearer down the road

i was on a long holiday trip to Singapore , Newzealand and australia and must have been to more then 6 hotels in Australia itself but never faced this kind of problems in any of other hotels. i usually don't have the habit to right the review wether good or bad but for this particular hotel, i actually spared time and wanted to pen down,

the problems we faced during our 4 nights stay :

1. the sharp noise sound continually coming from the main balcony sliding door due to some non visible gap between rubbers.

2. chances for pickup the call at room service / housekeeping / concierge is 1 out of 10 calls . no one picks up the call.

3. no bell boy / porter to mange the luggage .

4. hotel staff is not at all cooperative. when asked to modify the sandwich / burger at around 9:30 pm , the room service staff straight away denied and told that we can only serve whats there in the menu

5. when asked to iron a single piece of cloth ( on chargeable basis ) , they denied

6. washroom drainage was overflow , which later the maintenance team tried to resolve the issue but they couldn't able to and we were given a option to change the room

Nice

It's really good we stayed on top floor with ocean view and it was really great. Staff were friendly and its well located just on surfers paradise. It's a great place to stay for the price they charge. Only thing they need to improve is food and bit of renovation. I will recommend this hotel if they are in gold coast for holidays.

Absolutely amazing...such nice people that work here. Even though we stayed on level 9 the view was truely breathtaking, ocean view and city view. Can be a bit noisy at times but it s totally worth it.

Good facilities. Clean, neat and has all the features of 5 star hotel. Some of the presentation rooms are tired (dated), but lighting, air con, presentation gadgets etc all work well.
Would certainly return for another convention/conference.

I would stay in this hotel with friends or family but definetly not for couples.
The location is great but the rooms...
The air con / heater was broken and was always freezing in the room.
I went to have a bath and there was no hot water and it's so shallow and small anyway.
The beds are very squeaky...
Oh and side note there are huge wall sized mirrors next to the beds so you better be comfortable with your body
Really really needs to be updated, all the chips and dents make it look very worn.
Parking is 8$ a night in parking complex next door.
Who doesnt have free wifi in rooms now a days ?!?
They also offer breakfast which was okay but not worth $25 per person, go to a local cafe.
The pool area is nice though and they also have happy hour 1600-1800.
3 star not a 4 star hotel.

Staff were very friendly ! Comfy bed and clean rooms. Although very dissapointed regarding no coffee, milk etc in our room. Bottled water was also branded coles and Woolworths in the vending machine but paying top dollar for it ! A couple Complimentary bottles are usually given at all places we have stayed and Only one set of towels was given. Facilities were though. Thanks :)
