Stayed there for 8 days, was very nice a professional:)

Great modern room, very clean with a great view. Let down by a few little things- tv volume broken, no coffee in the mini bar, room phone was broken and reception didn't answer when I phoned from my mobile several times to make a noisy neighbour complaint then when I mentioned this the female staff member debated the fact with me and then our aircon stopped working.
I would definitely stay again cuz was a great price and location

Very nice location for the price and the buffet breakfast was very nice and catered for all tastes.

This place has a great location and staff, beds are very clean. Room looks recently renovated but kinda not finished? But wasn't really an issue for me personally. As this was a work trip the limited hotel facilities were the only negative but they were mostly due to COVID restrictions and the staff did everything they could to compensate for that.

Rooms were big enough. Clean n tidy. Service was great and can't complain about the food. Prices good for all.

It had plenty of security to ensure nobody was just walking in without having booked a room. The rooms were big and spacious, and the staff were really friendly.

Except for second day stay we have to go up our room by the stairs and was dark, and aside from this circumstances service is very good.

The hotel staff are absolutely lovely. However the room was much smaller than the photos depict and the lack of amenities in the rooms is something you'll need to consider. Great if you are only using the room to sleep and shower but there is only a kettle and a small but well functioning fridge. No toaster, microwave, oven, stove, kitchen sink, plates, bowls or cutlery (however if you ask the restaurant staff they will willingly swing you some plates etc) the service was amazing. However I just wish there had been a few more facilities in the room itself. Parking is also $10 a night which is an expense I hadn't taken into account. The location is fantastic however and could not fault the staff for anything.

I all ways say here at this hotel when saying the gold coast about two times a year .the hotel is super easy to fine and get your car in and out the car park. The hotel staff all go out there way to make sure your say is a Good one outstanding customer service from all and beds are so comfortable

Good service, we got the Novotel feeling when we first got into the lobby. The carpark in the building is very run down and dark. Not to mention the car park customer lift(looks and sounds very old). We were there for the evening Buffet on a Saturday night( also a rugby games was on TV)... They only have 2 staff + a trainee-looking after the Bar and the buffet restaurants They offered good service but understaffing meant it took longer to be attending during the meal. They had about 10 tables of customers in the restaurant. 5 Stars for staff on deck that night but 3 stars for Hotel management not rostering enough staff on given it was a Saturday night.

I have been to the Mantra on View many times, and will continue going back. It's a great hotel, love the pool, love the ball room/event spaces, nice restaurant and room service is great. The location is fantastic, parking is a bit challenging, especially if the elevators are out, but overall it's a great place to stay (unless you need a gym - because that area it is lacking in).

Good price for family stay. We had 3 rooms- Nice room with city view and beach view. We enjoyed the breakfast. See you next year.

Excellent location within a short walking distance to the very centre of the Gold Coast and the beach. Online booking price with great buffet breakfast included was very reasonable and the double room on the 10th floor with balcony views was excellent considering the price. Friendly, helpful staff and cheap hotel parking all contribute to an overall great experience and hotel. Recommended.

What a putrid place to stay! Last review was deleted. Do not stay here!!! Terrible service, over charged for parking, over charged for room service, over charged for the stay. I will never choose this hotel again

Universal rooms, balcony for us smokers, ni complaints at all. Outside may look dated but the rooms are quite nice and its close to everything surfers

Ideal location on View but if it is your first time beware there are a number of Mantra hotels so check it is Mantra on view you are staying at and the GPS is set correctly.
Large number of rooms as well as conference rooms.
Nice breakfast & lunch restaurant on second floor.
Next door is the car park which is almost reasonable in price if you present your original parking ticket for validation at the front counter before you leave often the saving will be in the line of $25 reduced to $8.
Rooftop pool good but the surrounding areas need lots of attention not just fenced off as they are now (January 2020) small gym also on pool level as is the paying spa.
Staff seem to deal with large numbers of guests in a fairly efficient manner but be prepared for a little wait.
The Agricultural Shows of Australia recently chose Mantra on View for their first ever conference and guests appeared to give their approval to both accommodation and conference facilities.

It's a nice Hotel, but I only visited on an afternoon for a conference.

Friendly staff, great housekeeping, great breakfast buffet and bar, so close to shops and restaurants and most of all it's the place to be for Casa do Zouk

Went away for a holiday for a week amazing balcony overlooking the Gold Coast nightlife. We loved the view every single day. Everything was always amazing. Couldn t fault anyone even the Concierge were very helpful when sorting out day trips, amazing local tips and great service. Couldn t fault the work of the team at the Mantra on View.

Great comfortable rooms with good views either side. Although there were plenty of choices at breakfast I wasn't impressed that they charged extra for an omelette...

In the city center, it is very convenient!
The sea view room is beautiful!

Buffet food was fairly good, the room was quite nice, the parking was an absolute nightmare. There is no lifts from the parking to the hotel and after parking your car you need to walk around the block on the outside of the building to come back in the main entrance to access the lifts to your room.

All rooms are oceanview rooms with a balcony, and have Japanese staff, so you can stay in peace even for the first overseas trip.
The hotel is also in the center of Surfers Paradise so you can easily find shopping and food shops.

Good services. Our room was on the 10th floor, could have had a tidy up, it was starting to looks tired. Overall a nice place to stay. Car park was hard to drive in to with a big car.

I loved everything about our stay: the cleanliness of the room and the common spaces, the friendliness of the staff, the excellent quality of the restaurant, the swimming pool, the location (right next to the beach and the shops), the view from our balcony and much more! Will definitely go back!

Great location at the northern end of Surfers Paradise. On our first stay the rooms were in need of repair. Since then we have stayed and many of the rooms have been upgraded. The hotel has great facilities and the restaurant dining for breakfast and dinner has been wonderful. Rooms are spacious and have great views from the balconies. Beds are very comfortable. Our only complaint is the rooms are non-smoking but guests smoke on the balconies. Being non-smokers, we had the misfortune of having smokers either side of us and in lower rooms, which made the use of our balcony, and even leaving our door open during our stay impossible. Staff acknowledged this happens and were apparently powerless to assist.

We enjoyed stay at Mantra on View. Room was cleaned, comfortable and view was just awesome. There are almost everything which people need on stay like restaurant, bar, fitness center, nearby public transit, daily need stores etc. Yes one thing which should not be missed ... it is very close to Surfers Paradise Beach so you will have awesome Beach and City view, that is why it's name Mantra on View ;)

Hmm.. Had a pretty rude international concierge cause a big fuss over not understanding the word bathtub which caused manager to deliver a free night in compensation. It took about a month to resolve and I've never been inclined to go back or recommend. Boo.

Spent an amazing night here! Staff were all super friendly and nice and clean rooms.

Staff were friendly and the bar people were nice. Place was clean and the even went as smoothly as possible. The location is right next to the nightlife venues so it made that walk quick and easy.

Location good, room decent but dated. No pool atm (weird) just 4 hot tubs which had all crazy settings depending on who'd been playing with the controls. None were hot just warm. So disappointing given the cooler weather. Plus because there was no pool the spas were full of kids.
