Overpriced for the portions but was a great food I love the vibes

This is my second time there and both times food was adequate it's more of a place to be seen and people watch or for romantic dinner for that it's perfect

Wonderful Greek restaurant with unique drinks and appetizers. Watermelon infused drink looked amazing (wish I ordered it) and zucchini hummus was delightful. Chicken kabobs and meatballs were very good. Must visit if you are in Miami design district

The food is excellent, the flavor and the attention are rarely enjoyed so much, truly unbeatable! Congratulations, I would go back 100 times

I have eaten everywhere, and I m sure places have their issues with bugs from time to time. I went to Mandolin, I sat, I saw the bugs, I left. Simple. I can t believe my luck, I will not be back. Sorry, this is something I can t block mentally. Freaking yuck! It can happen anywhere, but it happened here for me, I m done.

Mandolin is a lovely dining experience. Beautiful ambiance and lovely presentation of all the food we ordered and saw at other tables. It's a relaxed and comfortable way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Excellent food and service, very consistent every time we ve been there. The real treat is the atmosphere, really feels like you re on vacation outside the country!

If you like Greek food or looking to try new types of food this is a must go to place. Everything on the menu is to die for. Try the hummus cauliflower. Service is very attentive

One of our favorite in Miami. Love this place. Food, service, and atmosphere here always deliver. It's often packed, though it's a large place and staff can usually seat you -- even on nights when there are no available reservations. Parking is a bit of a pain, but there is a valet down the block and a few garages in the design district.

Mandolin kebab sandvich was amazing! Almost tastes like Adana kebab. The calamari as an appetizer was awesome, too. Crisp, not drown in cooking oil and was incredibly fresh! And the yogurt with pine nuts and berry jam! Out of this world! I agree that the dishes are a bit on the expensive side but for occasional guilty pleasure trips, this place is a must. This was our first time here and definitely plan to come back soon!

Overrated and overpriced. The sangria was yummy, but the food is very average and had nothing to do with Greek or Mediterranean - it was just a very weak impersonation. The setting looks much better on the photos that it is in real life.

Been to their post in London s Shoreditch House so many times so was pleased to visit the original in Miami. Had dinner but would love to try brunch/lunch on next visit then stroll around the Design District.

One of my fav spots for delicious greek food. I wish there were more places like this around town. Service treated us so nice. The bill won't break you. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

I love this place! Food, atmosphere and service are excellent there. Last year they also had super special menu, I still remember that hallomi cheese with pistachios and scallop crudo with tomatoes
Unfortunately now menu is smaller, but still good. I love their octopus, meet balls and zucchini eggplant appetizers.

I lived in Turkey for a Year and traveled to Greece and few times . This food is the closest you re going to get the the real thing. AMAZING FOOD and amazing environment! I love this place.

Hostess rude, said there was a 30 min wait for lunch, several tables empty. Didn't want to seat us, expected us to wait standing on the street in the Sun. There are better ways to handle the situation. We left and found an amazing Amazing Italian restaurant 3 blocks north.

My first time coming to this place, never again. The server was very rude from the beginning, we were a party of 12 celebrating two birthdays. When we tried to explain the server who the birthday people were, she didn t seem like she was interested in knowing. Then rushing us with our food so we can get the desserts and leave. I understand times aren t the best but she wasn t the best at communicating the situation. We wanted to split the check but she didn t even bother to ask. On top of that, she SNATCHED THE CREDIT CARD out of my friend's hands and I. Rudest ever, I asked to talk to the manager and she definitely seemed like she did not care at all about what happened. She just said oh I didn t know that, I m sorry and did nothing to fix the problem nor the servers attitude. Definitely never coming back! There s a bunch of good Greek restaurants in Miami, I ll recommend to give your business somewhere else.

A delight!
Despite the rain, which ended up bringing us straight here, the place is awesome. A leafy courtyard, with great service, unhurried, very different from American restaurants that don't seem to see the time you leave. Delicious food, simple yet sophisticated at the same time. And, I could not fail to comment on the service provided by Ahmed, an American, good people at the last, who helped us choose the local Greek dishes. We love it!

Food was really good, the place was amazing, the staff super friendly. Love how they made everything work. Only thing I can say in the critic department is it was a little hot in the inside dinning, but not unbearable. Overall 5 stars I def recommend

Great ambiance and nice outside dinning! But having been in this place when it first opened, and they served very good greek and Turkish food. Now that they have grown, the experience is not as good. I liked the appetizers although they bring so little bread for the humus, incredible for a table of 4 to serve such a small "bag" with tiny pieces of bread. The main course was not very well presented, not cooked properly and not what you would expect from a place that prides of fine dinning. Also not many options to choose from. I was rather disappointed!

Excellent!! Dined here about a month ago while my boyfriend and I were visiting Miami and we have since talked about this place probably 10 times-how amazing it was and that we can't wait to go back here. We are pretty big food snobs and have dined at some of the best restaurants in the country and this place was definitely up there with our favorites. The ambience, staff and food were all amazing. Everything we had on the menu was absolutely divine- the house bread, the crudo (it was on special that day), the octopus, the lamb with the yogurt sauce, the phyllo dough desert. Wonderful wine selection too. Don't listen to the reviews that say this place is "good but not great". It's fantastic. Definitely check it out!!

Simple, delicious food prepared with excellent ingredients and lots of love. Lovely outdoor courtyard, really feels like the Aegean. Great service, interesting wine list and very reasonable prices. Try the Manti dumplings.

New favorite spot in Miami! Greek-Turkish-Mediterranean specialties are served wonderfully uncomplicated in a picturesque ambience.
Mezze, roasted cauliflower, grilled octopus, grilled halloumi, stuffed zucchini, mussels in white wine sauce, fried calamari, souvlaki, chicken kebab, grilled fish and abnormally good homemade fries - all sensationally good and nicely portioned! The fresh pita bread and the Ali Nazik lamb mince are worth a visit.
Best for sharing, of course. There are of course some things in other good houses, but the combination of ambience, quality, friendliness and taste are terrific.
This also ensures regular full house, the mandolin is fully booked for days in advance.

Oh my God. The food at mandolin is absolutely delicious. I cant remember the names to all the dishes we had but everything was on point. The atmosphere is beautiful. I recommend going around sundown ..the candles get lit and it creates an intimate ambience. Great place for date night. I just remember the octopus being my favorite thing that I had . Go there now. Be prepared to spend some money though..but you can't put a price on a great dining experience. Also ask for brenda or Monica they are amazing , they'll take great care of you!

A friend took us there and it such a wonderful surprise. All the tables are in a beautiful lush courtyard with orchid plants hanging in the trees. Best of all the food is amazing. Four or of shared some tapas plates and it was very filling. The grilled cheese was the best but the calamari wasn't far behind.
