simple, affordable nail salon with very friendly staff. a bit small, but better than larger, "fancier" places elsewhere. wine, tea, or chocolate are offered as you receive your manicure (or pedicure).

Super friendly staff, tasty food, we ordered different starters to share. They served us some Hummus with pita for free since they told us that the preparation of the main course would take a bit longer (which wasn't the case). Also the main courses were so good. We had an enjoyable time in a very cozy atmosphere.

This was my favorite restaurant to visit during my stay in Miami. Everything was just perfect, nice weather, outside tables with great ambiance that almost meade me feel I went through a portal to Greece. The foods was delicious, specially the grilled octopus that I cannot describe how marvelous it tasted. Also very friendly and efficient staff, I felt spoiled lol

Okay so the atmosphere is pretty nice, really cozy but upscale. It wasn't so upscale that I felt uncomfortable which I loved. The sever was a tiny bit on the pretentious side, and I don't use that term lightly. I would like to say I have a relatively refined pallet; but I have to say this food was just didn't really "wow" me. Was kinda of over priced but I didn't mind because the atmosphere was so wonderful.

My favourite place whe I go shopping in thw design district: amazing cheese saganaki, smooth grilled octopus and tzatzili, ambience and courtesy. Love it. This place was recommended to us and it was a very good decision to visit this place. Service was good, the place was beautiful and the food was excellent! Highly recommended to make a reservation in advance for they are always fully booked, we waited for 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth the wait. We'll be back for sure!

A terrible experience. The hostess is one of the rudest most disrespectful restaurant employees I've ever encountered. The food is extremely over priced for what you get. There is absoultey NO gratitude for your patronage. It is by far the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had! I will never go back. The management could care less when you pose your grievances.

Greek food and the feeling at this location is excellent. Food was so delish. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. The place has a great atmosphere. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.

This message is to the OWNER of the restaurant. I used to come her quite frequently because the food is not bad, I had even recommended it several times to friends that were looking for good greek food. But I arrived on Sunday and was treated so RUDELY by the hostess (a blonde lady by the way) that you need to immediately fire her. For reference this happened this past Sunday - December 16th.

I will probably never return to your restaurant. I arrived on Sunday evening for dinner with 2 friends. There were at least 20 tables available outside. We did not have a reservation. The hostess offered us the worst possible table - stuffed into a corner at a small table barely large enough for 2 people let alone three and with absolutely no airflow on a warm evening. At this point we requested one of the other 20 EMPTY outdoor tables and she refused saying that she had reservations arriving in 20 minutes for those tables.

At this point we said why not sit one of the reservations at the corner table and allow us to sit at one of the other tables. She said absolutely not that we either take the small table or a table inside. For the record there were no reserved signs on the tables. In addition as a test I called during the week and a request for specific tables was not offered.

We were so irate that we obviously walked out of your restaurant. We actually stood in front of the restaurant for 20 minutes and not one person arrived. We were so happy that we didn't stay because it is you that lost our money and honestly you probably did us a favor. We then proceeded to Michaels Genuine where they were quite happy to seat us outdoors and have us spend our money there. By the way we had 3 bottles of excellent wine, steaks and salad so maybe it was a blessing in disguise. If this review allowed me to post my receipt I would to show you the lost business.

I hope for your sake you do not condone this type of behavior. The hostess should not even be allowed to work in McDonalds with her attitude let alone a mid level restaurant. She is rude, unprofessional and quite honestly stupid to allow customers to walk out the door. What made it satisfying to us is that no one ever showed. I mean this was 6:30 on a Sunday in Miami - no one eats at this hour unless they are at La Piaggia or Smith and Wollensky.

Wow! Really great Greek food in Buena Vista district. If you are around, make a stop here. Plus servers are very friendly. All the small plates are good. You will love to share them with your friends.

A group of co-workers and I dined here for a large group dinner and had a fantastic meal. The ambiance is beautiful with mostly outdoor seating it feels like you're in Greece on a summer night.

We put together a custom family style menu and every single item was out of this world.

The stand out items were the mezze dips, grilled octopus, eggplant, fish, dumplings in yogurt sauce and the chocolate cake.

Everyone was so happy we went to this restaurant and would definitely come back on our next trip to Miami.

The customer service in this place definitely is very bad. It was my first time in this restaurant and the server was very rude, snatching the credit card out of my hands. When asked about any food recommendations, she told me there is the menu . Then me and my friends asked to talk to manager and she didn t do anything. The essence in a place is how your customer feels and what do you offer to them and definitely this place don t offer a good service.

Great service. The food was sooo good. I'm new to Greek & Turkish cuisine, but the experience was definitely worth it. Had a nice lunch. Will definitely go back for dinner sometime soon. That good.

The manti was tremendous. It is truly a dish to try if you're going here for the first time.
As an individual who was raised in Turkey I am very picky on the taste and constitution of my manti. There are many layers to this Turkish staple of a dish: the consistency of the dumpling, the garlic ratio in the yogurt etc...
Of course being in the United States I expected an American twist to this dish. Sometimes American twists can save a dish, but also ruin it heavily.
Anyhow, the moment i took my first spoonful of manti and the sauce I was truly perplexed by all the flavors that exploded in my mouth, not only that, the manti dumpling melted in my mouth.
This isn't false hype folks, they nailed this dish! With a little American twist that didn't take away from the dish, instead making it even better.

Ambiance is great on the patio and the price range was $$ as indicated on google maps. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I didn't like mine (dumplings) but everyone else's looked good and the portions were very good.

Our visit to Mandolin Bistro was a pleasant surprise. As you walk to the front door, you have no idea what awaits once you get in. You will be seated in a garden-like patio, with birds singing and flowers blooming.
The atmosphere is very personable, with around 50 tables packed with people enjoying themselves.
They grow their own vegetables in the backyard garden area!
The service is outstanding. There are enough waiters to take care of everyone in fashionable manner. Our waiter, Gabriel was quick, knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant.
The food was total deliciousness. After finishing with our meals, we ordered a take out for a friend.

Thank you guys, we will be back.

FANTASTIC.

FANTASTIC.

Every single item in the menu is amazing, you can't go wrong.

The same amount of craft and attention to details that goes into the food is reflected on the decor and ambiance.

Service can be spotty as they get very busy but it's definitely worth it.

Best upscale mediterranean in Miami.

Going to this restaurant for the first time I was taken back by the outdoor Ambience that they have which is very breathtaking and very nice because it is well shaded so you have a little bit of a breeze even when it's scorching hot out and these South Florida temperatures. My cousin his wife and best friend and his wife came for the first time from Dominican Republic to experience what when would look like. I met up with them here because they were sent highly recommended. The beers that they served us we're not as cold as they could be chill at most I would say. The staff were somewhat attentive, our waitress seemed 2 not really enjoy her job and the food portions do not match the food prices. Food was delicious and we very much enjoyed but for three plates and seven beers the total came out to $140 which I found absurdly ridiculous. So Not only was the staff subpar but also the prices were outrageously expensive. My concern really wasn't the monetary aspect it was more about the experience that my family and friends from out of the country experienced. Not to mention the parking situation is horrendous that they have to valet and pay $20 for just an hour and I have that we were there.

I love it, always everything wonderful, fair price, white wine sangria the best in miami. For 6 years I've been a regular, always top. I did not even know there

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants but quality is slipping. Calamari not tasty and tomato's tasteless. The lamb burger was ok but not as good as years before. They don't make spanakopita anymore. The hummus was good and they have garden fresh vegetables.

The best Greek yogurt and fries in town. Stay away from the desert, it is not worth the money or the calories but the appetizers and main courses are delicious. The wait staff is extremely accommodating and attentive.

It is really hard to overstate just how delightful our dining experience at Mandolin was last night. My partner and I chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and from the moment we arrived the service was friendly, courteous, and efficient without making us feel rushed. If you go, definitely share the octopus as an appetizer, it's the best we've ever had - tender, fresh, and you just keep wanting more. Our entrees were less photogenic but nonetheless delicious and included the catch of the day and spicy beef/lamb sandwiches paired with a (not so) dry white wine from Greece that was recommended. The AGM came by at one point to greet us and after learning we were celebrating an anniversary offered baklava & prosecco, on the house, sparklers included! Towards the end the GM also came by and congratulated us. Next time you're wondering what to try in Miami give this place a try, if your experience is even an ounce of what ours was you won't be disappointed.

Great place to eat for dinner! A week ago, my cousin and I came here to have our dinner. We love their foods because it was delectable and mouthwatering. I can say that the chief who prepared those specialties was so brilliant when it comes to cooking. Thank you so much, guys! I should highly recommend you to everyone!

Nice location for delicious greek food. don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait. i had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. the place has a nice feel to it. they have so many great reviews for a reason.

You can't believe it: we made a reservation the day before. Our intention was to eat two typical dishes, restaurant specialties: mousaka and wakslawa. (sorry if I don't write it correctly). a plate and a dessert.
however, upon arrival, he informs us that there is no mousaka, which is over.
When ordering dessert, they tell us that there is no waklawa.
It is incredible that they cannot foresee that being a long weekend, with a lot of tourism, having made a reservation, that they do not contemplate having the amount of food necessary for this occasion. THERE WERE NOT TWO TYPICAL DISHES, so surely many people make reservations in Mandolin to eat.
We were well looked after, (the waiters are not responsible for this) but they did not foresee the amount of food necessary for a long and festive weekend.
sorry for the organization that does not take this into account.
we were extremely disappointed. We came from far away with the desire to try typical dishes and we couldn't do it.
You cannot believe that a customer goes to a Greek restaurant and they DO NOT HAVE GREEK FOOD.
A disaster, not the food that was served to us, which was very good, the waiters who also attended us very well, the place very well, but it does not meet the expectations of those who are going to eat the typical dishes they offer

You know those January days in Miami...where the weather is 68 degrees....no humidity....and you wish every day in Miami was like this ........ When you visit this restaurant, it takes that day and multiplies the feeling times 100. The outdoor garden, the quality of service, and amazing food all combine to make this a true 5 star experience.
